Beautiful setting and so relaxing. Hopping to rent it again next year.

This was a great property for a family vacation. The house is a bit older. The towels had holes, the bathroom corners were dirty. Not complaining just bringing awareness. The description doesn’t indicate that the water has a sea wall and large stones so there is not a safe way to get into the water.
This fit our family along with grandparents perfectly for late night games, family meals and a hub for exploring the upper peninsula.
Was very thankful for an easy check out process!

Overall fantastic experience. Also great value for waterfront. If you have younger kids the kayak launch will be tough. But many great beaches and site seeing places close by.

I have booked the house because of the first picture, swing in front of the lake, there is no swing. Property is not well maintained.

Tucked quietly behind trees and on the water. Very private and tranquil. Close to all attractions, including restaurants, hiking trails, beaches, everything you need. A beautiful place to watch the sun rise.

We stayed here for 3 nights mid-June. It was plenty big for the four adults in our group. We cooked a couple meals, one on the grill. We watched several Netflix movies. Slept well. Nice breeze through the house with the sliding door and living room window open. The inside of the house was very clean, and had everything we needed...towels, dishes, freshly-made beds, etc. My advice for staying here is to bring your own gallons of drinking water for coffee, cooking, etc. And stop at the Food Pantry grocery store on 123 and get a bag of ice. The water from the sink is brownish (high iron, I'm assuming) and while we used it for bathing and washing dishes and brushing our teeth, I think it might not taste great. I did a load of laundry and it did not stain my clothes or anything. This was a low-stress VRBO stay. The place is homey, and there was no giant list of chores to do when we checked out. We made sure the dishes were done and the counters were wiped down, took out the trash, and took off. Easy! I would stay here again.

This cottage is in a beautiful location, feet from Lake Superior and very private. The cottage was clean, well stocked, and had plenty of space. The deck down by the water was a great place to watch the sunrise, and just sit and relax to the waves! Becky, the property manager came by to let us know about a planned emergency power outage the next day( No running water when the power is out) Bring drinking water. Also, there were only 2 restaurants open when we were there in October. There is a small grocery store which had what we needed. We’re we’re there the first week of October and the fall foliage was magnificent!! We really enjoyed our stay and hope to return!!

We were very, very happy and satisfied with our rental. There were 3 couples and plenty of room. Rental was well stocked with most of the things I have had to bring to other rentals - paper towels, tp, towels, linens... The view was beautiful and very peaceful. The outdoor fireplace was wonderful. The manager was very friendly. The rental is located in a great area. We were able to visit Taquamenon Falls, Shipwreck Museum, Soo Locks, Mackinac Island, and Point Iroquois Lighthouse easily. Very much enjoyed our stay and I would recommend this rental to others.

We did a lot of sight seeing! Great location. Clean place and friendly property manager. Just enough room for all six adults in our group. Loved waking up and seeing the sunrise! Loved ship watching. Even the rain did not deter us from our hikes. But the water is not appetizing from the faucet for drinking. I suggest bringing your own. Thank you for the nice stay!

Nice property with a beauty view of the bay and freighters going by. Multiple beaches to play on within 10 minutes. Definitely recommend stayiyhere.

The place was clean and a great location but very dated the photo of the swing on the beach is very deceiving, the swing is so rotten you cannot set on it. The exercise room is very dirty, and the machines don't work. The advertised garage is locked, and the owner said it was only for owner use. There is no dishwasher, as listed in the amenities. It is a cute cottage, and we enjoyed our time there, but we were disappointed that we did not have use of the garage, or a dishwasher as advertised.

Amazing views of Lake Superior! Lots of amenities and unlimited firewood for campfires which is a bonus! The home is definitely dated, which is completely fine and is accurately depicted in the listing. We had a few maintenance issues that affected our family of 5 and overall it just needs some work done. The master toilet was out of service for 1 of 3 days we were there. Some of the windows don't operate and/or the screens were torn so we were not able to use them, making the bedroom warm for our children. The deck on the screen door could only be opened by one of us, which was frustrating because we wanted to go in/out of that door when grilling outside. We asked the maintenance person regarding this, and were told "don't worry if you break it you won't get charged and I will try to lubricate it." The screen door is very aged, and just needs to be replaced so everyone can open it! We messaged the property owner after the stay to provide feedback and she is looking into it further. When staying 3 days, it's not possible for all this to get fixed after we arrived, so in general I think they just need to be more proactive with maintenance. The cost to rent this home is not inconsequential! Thank you.

The home was clean and welcoming. The view is amazing and there were plenty of things for each of us to enjoy. We have 4 kids ranging from 6 to 15. This property is a wonderful place to stay while enjoying the UP

We had a good vacation here, went to Tahquamenon Falls, Crisp Point and Whitefish Point. The cabin was very clean but basic accommodation. The deck by the lake needs some work and the steps up to it need replaced and a rail, The sunrises were spectacular! There are very limited restaurants, only 2 open and the groceries are quite expensive so you would do well to come prepared. With a few updates, this could be a great place, it is larger than most and a good location. I would recommend it, just come prepared.

We have been coming to Paradise for several years. My family loves the The area. It is a beautiful, peaceful place to go. The house is wonderful. It has all the admenities you need. You only need to bring your self, food and clothes. Home is very clean and has a wonderful place for campfires. We would definitely stay here again.

enjoyed this 3 bed 2 bath home. Its actually nicer than what the pictures show. Very clean. Lots of extras, plenty of towels, TP, bed linens and extra blankets. each bedroom had a fan. Kitchen well stocked. even had a crockpot we used. Cannot ask for a better spot close to whitefish point on Lake Superior. views are spectacular! from the deck and the cool little dock. they have a nice set of cornhole we used quite a bit. Fire pit area could have a little work but the wood is supplied which is another perk to this home. Only thing I would advise is bring your own drinking water. The local stores are very expensive. The home has well water as expected which didn't bother us at all. You just don't want to drink it.

Nothing fancy, but well maintained, clean, well stocked and a great lake front location. Great location if you're 4 wheeling. Has room for longer trailer and place for 2 trucks to park.

The house was great for a father/daughter trip to explore the U.P. Plenty of space, lovely location, and a beautiful sunrise. Quiet, no frills, but had everything we needed. Thank you Becky!

We had a wonderful time in our house on Lake Superior. The space, amenities and especially the view were exactly as described on line. We three older adult women had everything we could want or need at the house. When a toilet seemed to be running constantly, we called the manager and he came immediately to fix it. The water was always a little stained, but it tasted fine and we drank it the whole week. If you want crystal clear drinking water, you might want to buy some. Also, in mid-May, a number of restaurants were still closed in Paradise and surrounding towns. But we went on excursions every day, saw loons and swans and geese. Don’t miss Crisp Point lighthouse and make sure you check out the agates all along the northern coast. I would happily return to this home and bring friends who had never visited the U/P. It’s the perfect place to immerse oneself in upper Michigan.

We enjoyed our stay at the property very much. The location was great - right on Whitefish Bay. The house itself was clean and there was plenty of space for us. The living room was very nice with a reclining chair and a couch with recliners. The main bedroom had a great view of the lake, and we watched a sunrise from the bed one morning. The living room also had a view of the lake. There was also a deck outside on the lake as well.

Home and grounds were beautiful. Kitchen was well equipped for meal prep. And of course, the view was amazing! One of the mattresses was very soft, but others were great. Would definitely return!

This place was PERFECT! It's located right on Lake Superior in Whitefish Bay and served as an excellent "home base" for doing touristy things like Tahquamenon Falls and Pictured Rocks. The home is spacious, well furnished, and clean. The only thing missing was a dishwasher, but that's a first world problem eh?

15 min drive to white fish point where you can rock hunt all day AND all NIGHT. Found yopperlite rocks at night and agate’s in the day. Beautiful view right off back porch and the deck right on the beach. 20 min to Tahquamenon falls for a great day trip. Local shopping is lacking but that’s to be expected in a town that size.

We had been planning a Whitefish Bay trip for a while and were completely happy with our choice. The property location makes it easy to take advantage of all the outdoor activities the area has to offer. It was very clean and roomy and art decorations through out made for a quite pleasant and comfortable atmosphere. We spent more time than we should have on the lakeside deck taking in the great weather and scenery. Must also say that the view of Whitefish Bay from the house was absolutely fabulous. It was a very positive expirience and we would have no problem spending some time here again.

Peaceful retreat
As described. Beautiful views of lake. Comfortable and the house has all the amenities. Be advised, bring food to cook at the house not much to choose from for dining out and the hours are different than most tourist spots. There are mesquitos but some days were worse than others. Couple nights were completely bug free by the fire.

Perfect location!
This property is perfect spot for doing all your UP North sight seeing. The home is clean and inviting. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen was stocked with essentials. A great deck on the waters edge to watch the sunrises. We were able to see fireworks from town, that was an added bonus! A great fireplace for winding down after a long day. Any questions we had were answered quickly. This will be first choice if we go north again.

Great location and property
The property was great! We loved the various places outside to hang out. My hubby tried fishing from the platform, but had no luck. Though that may have been that it was pretty breezy while we were there. The swing was a great place to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning. And we all loved that the fire pit area was a little enclosed. It was pretty windy in the evenings, so it allowed us to still enjoy a fire at night.
The house was very spacious (we were a family of 6 with 4 teenagers (15, 16, 17 & 19). The kitchen was well stocked with anything you could need. And it was nice to have a washer and dryer to use as well.
The location was great. We went to Whitefish Point each night to watch the sunset. It was super close to Tahquenemon Falls.
Overall a comfortable, spacious home with amazing views and great location.
