It was a great place enjoyed the scenery relaxing the only thing I wished is the shower water had more pressure but hey it’s a cottage but plan on staying there again in the future.

The cabin was clean, very small, definitely rustic. Very small bedroom, full size bed and twin bed only walking room. Parking space is tight with a Full size truck. The show was quite small with very little water pressure. I have to say the price does not match the quality of the cabin compare to others I have stayed in, In the UP. Not trying to be critical but

Cute and very clean, loved the water view. Great base to start all the UP day trips.

Personal deck looking at the water was so nice.

This property worked well for us as a home base for Paradise. The fans provided were a big help in keeping the cabin cool as there's no AC. Be weary of using the oven/stove as it makes the entire place smell like gas

The listing was as described - rustic. The deck overlooking Whitefish Bay is outstanding. We enjoyed its use morning and evening. The location of the cabin was perfect for our explorations to Tahquamenon Falls and Crisp Point Lighthouse. We also had a wonderful dinner at The Inn.
The property manager was very responsive to our needs and loaned us her box fan when we accidentally broke the one at the cabin.
The shower had almost no water pressure. A ceiling fan would be a huge benefit for the bedroom. Note that there are cottages close by on either side, and the bedroom faces a well-traveled road.
We definitely enjoyed our stay, reminiscent of childhood rustic cabin experiences.

The cabin was clean. This is perfect for a couple to stay. It’s right on Lake Superior. Close to city of Paradise.

It's an awsome authentic rustic log cabin. #1 of the cons was the queen size was stuffed into a little room with 6 inches maybe on each side maneuver around the bed. The bed was very comfortable. #2 and not the property's fault. We over looked there is no A/C. We were up there during 85°F day and 70°F night. The fans just moved hot air around. #3 little bathroom and little shower stall with low water pressure #4 the placement of the dumpster was a bit aromatic at times. #5 I understand saving the shoreline and the large rocks are needed. Done complaining! PROS. The place needs some attention but it was really nice. The logs, the ceiling beams, the paint job, the log windows, the log cabinetry, the exposed tube and knob wiring all adds to the ambience. Roku on the TV was nice and they pulled no punches informing guests from the start the internet is sketchy. For us all the appliances worked. Water was hot and controllable. The deck above the lake to watch a sunrise, to look over the lake, to listen to the lake and the wildlife. To have an adult beverage and a deep conversation or sit quietly. We used it as home base for running around sight seeing. We did have a great stay.

We have stayed at this cabin three times, and each time the cabin feels more like home. It’s clean and comfortable and close to everything we want to see and do.

Very quiet, tucked away cabin. Just what we needed. Would highly recommend

The overall experience was awesome. The cabin is very clean, spacious, and cozy. The view is amazing. The only thing I will mention, is that there are a series of three cabins to the right. There is a sign that says “cove”, with an arrow pointing towards the little beach in front of this cabin, and there were a few people staying in those cabins who misconstrued it as a place where they could set up chairs and hang out there. There were children walking dogs and roaming around in the yard… I did contact the caretaker (Jeff) and he took care of the situation. Luckily those people left the next day… and luckily we had awesome neighbors in the cabin that was directly next to us. All in all it was a very nice, quiet, relaxing experience and I would stay there again.

We did not deal with the property manager, Becky. Only the local gentleman who handles any repairs. He was trying to fix the screen door that was torn off due to a storm the night prior. The cabin was poorly stocked (coffee, paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags), and we had to go to him for everything. He even made sure we had clean bedding. He handles other properties in that area as well and seemed a little overwhelmed. I know the owner lives in another state, so not sure who's supposed to do the stocking/cleaning. I assumed Becky and he's the handy man. Assuming from the description and contact information, they have listed for them on the fridge

Its a nice little cabin right on the water, the parking space is pretty small but doable. It is definitely a cabin, internet is very spotty which they warn of. We basically just spent the night there and were not there during the day so it worked well for us.

Such a charming little cabin. Clean and cozy. Great little deck down by the water. Location was perfect for our stay. Would definitely recommend as well as stay there again.

The waterfront area I’m front of the red deck was being used by a bunch of kids from the cabins next door. Threw the. Left their belongings. No parents around so we were not able to use the waterfront area. Disappointed as I thought we had waterfront access.
The cabin was well cleaned but it smelled of sewer and propane gas.
I tried to text both the property manager and local contact to ask if the waterfront was shared access and neither of the texts went throughput

The cabin was perfect for us. My boyfriend really enjoyed Lake Superior waterfront and thought the cottage was cute. We were very pleased with our stay. When we arrived the refrigerator wasn't working properly and we called, Jeff, the maintenance guy and he was over right away and problem solved. He was very friendly and attentive to making sure we were good. The cottage had everything you needed. The shower was good and the bed was comfortable. The location is excellent being close to Whitefish Point and Taqwamenon Falls. We even made it to Sault St. Marie and took the scenic route. Absolutely beautiful! We both loved our stay and we will definitely book again. We had a wonderful time!

Rustic it stated online, rustic it is. decor is rustic with local artists work. nice view of Lake superior. Necessities were all there. View from the deck was great, The deck chairs need an upgrade NOW.The INN Gastropub was close and well staffed and served great food. Food trucks offering fare from fresh Lake Superior whitefish to Mexican and Italian are nearby. visited Tahquamenon falls, Whitefish point Lighthouse and the Crisp point lighthouse while there. Caught the Iroquois light station on the way out all less than 40 miles from cabin,

My partner and I had a delightful stay in this charming, snug cabin, and to encapsulate our experience, it was truly remarkable. We had very few desires other than slightly improved weather conditions. Nevertheless, the cabin itself provided a picturesque escape. The only aspect worth mentioning is the insufficient representation and quality of images in the listing. We anticipated a more secluded woodland setting, but the photos failed to convey that neighboring cabins were visible on both sides. Apart from this minor setback, our time there was exceptional. We extend our gratitude to Rebekah for her outstanding hospitality.

This place was quiet and had everything that we needed and then some. It was a bit cloudy and storming on the days we were there so we missed on the sunrise but the patio out back is perfect for relaxing in the evenings.

If you’re looking for rustic cabin, but loaded with everything you need this is the place. The deck view is a beautiful place for morning coffee or an evening spirit. We had our kids (6 & 7) in tow. The shoreline isn’t great for swimming because of the rocks, but there is a sandy spot to play. The cabin was stocked with everything we needed (towels, kitchen stuff for cooking, etc).
Only complaint: the listing says “sleeps 5”. This is not accurate. The one bedroom has 2 beds (full size and a twin). I’m glad a I messaged the owner prior to arriving because I figured the couch pulled out into a bed. It doesn’t. So, we brought an air mattress, which worked fine. It is also not as private as the pictures show. There are close neighbors on both sides.
Overall a great experience in Paradise!

This is a very cute cabin. It had everything we needed in the kitchen and outside (1 gas grill, 1 charcoal, picnic table). Some things were lacking...1. The bedroom had a twin and a queen. No more pull out sofa. 2. The front door is unlocked by the key. This key is also the doorknob. It was difficult with my young kids. 3. Could use some sort of deadbolt on the inside of the cabin since the key is always attached on the outside. 4. There should be some sort of manual on how to start the heater and the stove. If we didnt know what we were doing it could have ended badly. All in all though, we loved our vacation there! More importantly my kids loved the vacation there! Very peaceful and gets you back to being connected as a family!

Fantastic and charming older cabin. Lots of privacy with a camping feel. Close to all the attractions around paradise. Great location.

Husband and I rented for anniversary getaway. Cabin is small, very rustic, but nice. Perfect for a couple. I don't think it would work well for families as there is no bathtub and only 1 bedroom. Be sure to bring your own food as there is no walmart (or any large store) anywhere near there. And bring the bug spray!
Overall we had a nice time. Within reason travel time to Pictured Rocks, Sault Saint Marie, Taquanamon Falls, and Whitefish Point.

This rental was just what I wanted it to be. A cute little cottage right on the water where we could pile in together and just enjoy the UP. I grew up going to Paradise and was looking for a similar experience for my little ones, so it definitely met my expectations. It was definitely close quarters, but that was part of the experience. The waterfront was not swimming friendly for toddlers, which would be the only con - when I messaged the owner about close by swimming options, I never got a response. But we had a wonderful trip regardless!

We rented this cute cozy cabin last year and enjoyed renting it again this year. Perfect for a couple, we loved the bonfire pit and catching beautiful sunrises each morning on Lake Superior. The location is great!

The cabin is in a great location to visit Whitefish Point lighthouse, Tahquamenon Falls, Crisp lighthouse, Two hearted river and the Dunes in Grand Marais. We were hoping to see Northern lights but we missed them.
I wish the screen door was either repaired properly or taken off completely. We have a full size truck and needed another foot to park out of the adjacent driveway. We did enjoy a fire every evening and the deck out by the water. Thank you

A cozy and quiet cabin near the shore Ok Lake Superior. The bed was very comfortable. All of the facilities and appliances work perfectly. You can take a nice hot shower. Everything you need is there to prepare meals, or you can enjoy delicious dinner at The Inn during the season. This was our Basecamp for visiting the historical sites at Sault Ste Marie, Taquamenon Falls, and The Great Lakes Shipwreck Museum Whitefish Point. Everything we needed for our stay was in the cabin. Bring the slippers. Enjoy!

Loved the small little cabin. Was more than enough for my girlfriend and I. Easy to find right off the road way and perfect location just north of Paradise!

We enjoyed our brief stay at the rustic cabin. Location was great. Close to Paradise and also the Shipwreck Museum. It did rain so we weren't able to enjoy a fire but stayed warm in the cabin

The cabin was just as described, bed was comfortable, and we had everything we needed for our stay. Location was perfectly located between Whitefish Point and Tahquamenon Falls. The view on Lake Superior was amazing. I could sit and watch the waves roll in for hours. We had a couple good lunches from the food trucks in Paradise, and ate at the brewery at the upper falls once. I look forward to visiting again next summer.

The Paradise cabin was clean, centrally located, and stocked with every dish snd utensil you could wish for. We expected it to be an older cabin, but we feel that it lacked some simple maintenance that could improve its looks snd longevity. For example, the front screen door was falling apart, the bottom peeling and missing chunks, and the screen falling out. Overall a positive experience; we just felt it was missing some TLC.

We really enjoyed this little rustic cabin! Great location, super clean, and just the right size for the three of us. We loved the deck overlooking the lake. I didn’t give it 5 stars because the shower only had one temperature (hot!) and we had issues with the front door. The screen door was in such bad shape that we had to keep the front door closed to keep the bugs out but if you went outside you had to always have the key or you got locked out. Happened to us the first night with all the cabin info inside. Thankfully we did have one phone and the neighbors had the phone number so we were able to call and get help.
