About this house rental
Trullo Tramonto has been beautifully redesigned and restored by a Milanese architect to an exceptionally high standard and sits on a hillside in a quiet countryside location in the Itria Valley.
The house is known for its beautiful views and sunsets (tramonto being Italian for sunset).
The gorgeous 13 metre infinity-edged swimming pool with shallow beach area gives the opportunity to cool off whilst enjoying the views.
The trullo has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms one of which is ensuite.
In addition to the open plan living/dining area and the well equipped marble topped adjoining kitchen, the trullo has an internal 'cave room' providing an additional cool living space.
Externally there is a shaded sitting area (ideally situated to enjoy the amazing sunsets over Martina Franca and Locorotondo) a kitchen/dining area, with a stunning stone dining table, sink and BBQ.
The well established garden has many fruit trees including cherry, apricot, plum, peach, apple, fig, pomegranate, sharon fruit, mulberry, olive and almond and a well stocked herb garden.

Stunning property with the most beautiful outdoors area in the countryside in Puglia. We stayed as a family of 6, all adults.
The villa was well equipped and had everything you would need for a comfortable stay.
I’d like to extend my thanks to Tracy and the management team for the villa who were most helpful with recommendations or help when required.

Such an incredibly beautiful house and location. Communication with the owner was fantastic (especially the personal recommendations she gave us) as was service from the team on location. The pool was an absolute standout- unusual to get such a generous size and set in the most amazing setting with views over the countryside and sunsets in the evenings. Would thoroughly recommend!

This was our first time to visit Puglia. Fantastic stay, made by the villa!

We had a wonderful stay. The pool and outdoor areas were beautiful and plenty of areas to lounge as well as a very nice outdoor eating space. We loved the pool. House was great for our family as spent most time outdoors. Cool cave area which was a great escape from heat.

Our family had such a lovely time in this trulli and a wonderful vacation in Southeast Italy. The property is nestled amongst an olive groves along with fig, rosemary, and lavender dotting the property. The pool and outdoor space was well used even in October. It was perfectly located being 20 minutes away from Ostuni, Alberobello, and Locorotondo.
The structure itself was cozy with enough features to cook and entertain a family of three. The bedrooms were spacious and bathrooms modernized. Puglia pools, who manage the property, were mostly our concierge service. they booked activities, experiences, and reservations for us so it was like having the benefits of staying in a hotel.
I would definitely recommend visiting Puglia whether with family or a group of friends. The trulli experience is the best way to immerse yourself and create a memorable experience.

We wanted something special for our silver wedding anniversary and found exactly the right place here.
Trullo Tramato is traditional - but with all modern comfort.
It is luxurious - but not overdone.
It is the perfect place to relax and enjoy.
Highly recommendable.

This Villa looks absolutely amazing on the listing, but let me tell you, it’s breathtaking when you actually arrive and see it in all its glory!
We had the best few days we could have asked for, eating at the local restaurants and drinking the local wine whilst watching the sunset from the Villa! We will 100% be visiting again, absolutely could not fault anything, so thank you!

We had an amazing time staying here while in Puglia. The outdoor pool area is amazing with the most beautiful sunsets. The location was perfect for all of our day trips to surrounding towns. We enjoyed wine and music down in the 'cave' - the acoustics were amazing!! It is a truly unique and beautiful property!

Typical trulli house worth the experience. The house can sleep 6 but it is a bit cramped in the kitchen and dining/ living area. If the weather is nice you have plenty of space outside and the pool is a nice Bonus.
The view and the sunset are very nice.

Idyllic setting with a wonderful pool. Bedrooms comfortable and bathrooms modern. No need for air con except the one day it reached 39 degrees outside! Kitchen petite but functional. Just missing an outdoor pizza oven!

Beautiful Sunsets
This is a very well-situated property, located at the crest of a hill with views from the infinity pool of the surrounding countryside. The outside area and pool are outstanding, as is the location close to several of the white towns, such as Ostuni. We also were able to visit beaches on both the Adriatic and Ionian side within 1 hour. The house is comfortable if a bit idiosyncratic, as is fitting for a converted trullo. We enjoyed coming home for dips in the pool and the evening breezes. We also appreciated the connection to a local chef for a cooking class. In this strange new world of extreme weather events, some guests may wish to consider whether they need air conditioning; we had several warm nights in the third, interior bedroom; the two main bedrooms were more comfortable. Our check in and check out were swift and professional, but perhaps lacked some of the personal service mentioned in older reviews. We would recommend this property to other families.

An amazing view, a very professional service and support and probably the finest pool ever in a beautiful landscape. Rooms are clean, beds convenient, the kitchen functional (personally, I would replace or would put away some of the furnitures, the only little minus). Sarah was great. Ostuni and Ceglie just 15 minutes away. We loved our journey!

Very quirky and pretty, beautiful pool, outside area and views all around. Sarah was amazing looking after us having to quarantine here for 5 days - it was total decompression, so relaxing. Nearby lots of lovely towns to see.

Trulli scrumptious..
Trullo Tramonto is a delightful spot for enjoying all things Puglian. Fab pool, lovely views, very peaceful and thoughtfully equipped with all one could need. Great outdoor space and well located for very good mini market/restaurants close by. Sarah was on hand to meet and greet and a pleasure to deal with. Altogether marvellous. Thanks Tracy.

Beautiful Trullo with gorgeous sunsets
We had an amazing 2 week holiday at this beautiful trullo. The outside living areas were wonderful. The pool is lovely although it is very deep with no shallow end. That said my 5 year old daughter can now swim!
The view is lovely and sunsets spectacular. The quiet location ensures a totally peaceful and relaxing holiday.

Perfect family holiday
Trulli stunning in every way! Beautiful spot to explore the area. We loved the local wine bar and restaurant. Trip to Ionian Sea was amazing - crystal clear water and white sand. Alborello is a must as is Ostuni, Tracy and Sarah we’re very helpful before and during our stay, nothing too much trouble.
Would highly recommend!

What a beautiful place! We relaxed as soon as we arrived enjoying the stunning pool and the wonderful views. The house is beautifully presented and well equipped, lovely outdoor eating area, with only provisions needed from the wonderful local store. We didn’t want to leave! Thank you Tracy & to Sarah for her advice and helpfulness.

Cozy, practical trullo and yet so beautiful
We have just returned home after spending a week in this trullo, we have thoroughly enjoyed our stay. If you prefer to stay away from all the tourists, this is the place to go. Lots of things to see in 30-45 min. distance - Alberobello, Polignano a Mare (boat ride is a must), Grotte di Castellana, Locorotondo. The food is superb - fresh fish from Pescheria in Cisternino, meat from local macellerias, its so easy to cook with great ingredients. We loved sitting in the little lounge area by the pool watching sunsets drinking great wine, we will definitely miss it!

So Cool!
Unbelievable Trullo with an awesome location! The pool was beautiful and overlooked acres of olive trees. The property was full of fruit and almond trees. The figs were delicious!! From the back patio you can see the hilltop villages that surround the property. Beautiful sunsets, very peaceful and private!

Beautiful Villa & location
Sadly we had to return home from a wonderful holiday in this beautiful part of Italy.
The villa was stunning, and well equipped so everything you could need was already to hand.
The outside areas in particular were out of this world, the pool ideal for lounging around, kept the kids entertained and big enough for family swim relay races! Sofa areas comfortable and perfect for a bit of shade out of the midday sun. BBQ area and outside kitchen ideal for alfresco meals! And the sun terrace for stunning views of the surrounding areas!
The welcome on arrival was very much welcomed by us, so nice to be greeted by real life people with knowledge of the area and tips of where to go! Not to mention the well informed directory of everything you could need and some wonderful recommendations of where to go & what to do!
Monopoli was one of our many highlights of the holiday.... both the game (In Italian!) and the town - breathtaking!
Very well equipped villa for a family holiday!
Thanks for being a wonderful host and helping us make very happy holiday memories! x

Wonderful Holiday Home, fabulous pool, amazing views and great location
We return every year and still enjoy exploring the local area and beyond. Wonderful beaches on the Ionian coast when we can pull ourselves away from the pool. Cycling nearby on the aqueduct, olive oil tasting, wonderful food from family run pizzerias to Michelin star restaurants or barbecues at the trullo with wonderful local produce. Lots of information and recommendations. Well equipped kitchen, home from home. Lovely bedlinen and comfortable beds. We're looking forward to returning again next year!

Delightful Trullo in idyllic setting
A wonderful property with an attractive garden and a fabulous pool. The views are great, even from the pool with a refreshing glass of chilled Italian wine in your hand. We visited Matera (Sassi area is amazing), Lecce (Roman ruins), Polignano a Mare (fabulous cove & best ice cream) and Ostuni for dinner at Michelin starred restaurant "La Sommita" - wow. It was always great to come home to the Trullo and relax next to the pool. Highly recommended.

Fantastic!
What a wonderful home to stay in to explore this beautifully untouched part of Italy. The house is well set up & perfectly equipped with fantastic information about the local area. The pool is particularly beautiful, my girls practically lived in it. We will definitely return. Thank you all. The Westobys

Stunning villa
Relaxing 2 weeks at this stunning villa. Pool, outside area and outlook exceeded all expectations. Wonderful situ, with great sightseeing and restaurants close by as well as offroad cycling right behind property (aqueduct trail).

Beautiful, tranquil, relaxing Trullo
We loved every moment in this beautiful home. The trullo was comfortable, well kitted out and everything that we needed. The outside area was the gem of this property. The infinity pool looking out over the view was exceptional, the seating area and outside kitchen was lovely (we spent two whole days just at the villa because it was so beautiful and relaxing).
Plenty of places to go and see and eat all within a short drive. Highlights for us were Martina Franca, Locorotondo, Matera and the Adriatic coast for lovely sandy beaches.
We were sad to leave at the end of our holiday and will definitely be back again.

Pretty Trullo and Perfect Pool
Very rural holiday home with lovely views, great barbecue area, pool and outside seating. Equipped with everything you'd need. Appreciated the welcome pack as all the shops were closed when we arrived. The only slight problem being a very hard mattress in one of the bedrooms.

A beautiful part of Italy, very tranquil.
What a great surprise it was to arrive at the Trullo, we didn’t know what to expect and we certainly weren’t disappointed! Our first impressions were that it was so peaceful and quiet, very clean, extremely well equipped with beautiful linens in the bedrooms, everything you could want in the kitchen, and we particularly loved the ‘Welcome Hamper’ and lovely toiletries, what a special touch!
When we contacted the owner, Tracy, she was very helpful and couldn’t have done enough to make our stay comfortable and hassle free. She had many suggestions about places to visit and where to eat and they all turned out to be just what we would have chosen ourselves. We would definitely return and would highly recommend it as a wonderful, relaxing yet exciting family holiday.

Fabulous relaxing break in Puglia
The trullo was very well presented and fully fitted so that we were relaxing within minutes of arrival. The welcome basket was a lovely touch from the owner Tracy. We also loved the rosemary and lavender fragrance around the garden.
This was our second stay in Puglia and this time nestled between Martina Franca, Cisternino and Ostuni enabled great eating out and shopping excursions when not ensconced by the pool. Ice cream take away is recommended for sunset watching across the valley from the house - may be accompanied by something a little stronger to drink !
We will definitely be booking again.

Blissfully relaxing stay in late summer .....
This was our third visit to the Trullo, the first time was 4 years ago in August, then 2 years ago in May and this year in September. We spent a blissfully relaxing week basking in the late summer sun. We were able to spend time outside enjoying the landscape and we even had a barbecue one day. Thank you Tracy for all your help and advice about places to visit and restaurant recommendations, you even suggested a very good hairdresser for us! Will definitely be booking again as we still have so much we want to do in this area.
