About this villa rental
The villa is set within rambling gardens on different levels with plenty of areas to sit and take in the views. The inviting pool Is surrounded by beautiful palm trees and a large terrace for sun bathing. Elevated above the pool is a pergola with a seating area at one end and a summer kitchen at the other. In this part, there is a fridge, sink, cupboards, containing plastic glasses and plates, and a kettle. The granite worktop extends to form a breakfast bar seating area with four stools. Ideal for sitting and watching the activities in the pool. A wifi extension allows you to stay in touch at this location. Likewise, the pergola, outside the patio doors offers more shade and a table for 8. There is also a further uncovered patio, ideal for catching the late afternoon sun with spectacular views of the Montgo mountain.
Indoors, there is satellite TV which provides most UK channels. An extensive collection of CD's and DVD's and plenty of books and games. Air conditioning is provided in each bedroom with a ceiling fan in the TV lounge. Central heating and a wood burning stove are provided for the winter months.
Historic Javea offers narrow streets, a weekly market and a great selection of tapas bars and cafes. Both the old port of Javea and the Arenal, with it's fabulous sandy beach and restaurants catering for all tastes, are 15 minutes drive away. Also within a 10 minute drive is the 27 hole championship golf club of La Sella. For those seeking less of a challenge, the equidistant Javea golf club offers a similarly scenic alternative. Tennis and Horse riding facilities are also nearby.

Just can’t say enough about this place! We had the best time staying at this villa - kids loved the pool, so did we! The villa is set on grounds that can only be described as paradise - with far reaching mountains views and absolute privacy it’s hard to believe you are a short walk from a beautiful town and a very short drive to the beach.
Xàbia is such a cool town, everyone is very nice friendly and there are so many restaurants to choose from. Our plan was to use the bbq at the villa but we ate out most of the time. The Moroccan at the end of the street is definitely worth a visit.
I would say to anyone who is hesitating about clicking on the book button, don’t - you won’t be disappointed.

A relaxing stay in a beautiful villa, with magnificent pool and grounds. Close to Xabia and not far from a selection of beaches. Moraira busier for a good evening out and Altea very pretty. Thoroughly enjoyable stay despite changeable but interesting weather!!

A beautiful pool area and garden surround the house, with many places to sit and enjoy the stunning view of Montgo. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool area and outdoor kitchen as well as long evenings sitting on the covered patio listening to the cicadas. The house itself was well set out with a very well stocked kitchen containing everything we could have possibly needed. The two twin bedrooms were very comfortable and the shared bathroom was very modern, clean and perfect for our teenage daughters to share. The master bedroom and ensuite were also very clean and comfortable. The airconditioning in the bedrooms was a godsend for our August week! We spent a very happy week here, mostly in the pool, and would love to return in the future.

I am unable to put into words how wonderful this villa is. I've been holidaying in Javea since I was a child, and now I am holidaying there with my own young family - and this is the best villa I have ever stayed in.
It has everything, and the outside and pool area is stunning. Our two daughters were swimming from the moment they got up, to the moment they went to sleep. Just perfect.

We absolutely loved staying at this house. It has loads of character and the garden and surroundings are beautiful. The pool is big and two metres at the deep end so fantastic if you want to be able to jump and dive in. Nice covered outdoor dining area, great bbq, comfortable pool furniture and great pool bar area.
Great location with plenty to do in the vicinity.

Having visited Javea fourteen times, staying at several villas, it was a bit of an unknown as to what this villa would be like. We were not disappointed, and fair to say one of the best we have stayed in
Roger was excellent in communication and everything was all we expected and more. Will look to come back at some stage soon.

Fantastic property to rekindle family ties over the holiday season. Would love to return in the warmer months but this suited our needs completely with a nearby local store, smaller villages to explore and hiking trails for those who want to enjoy nature. Only drawback was the exit/entrance off the highway which is essential to access property up the hill....not for the faint of heart. Loved the views, the quietness, and the property had everything to cook, bbq or just lounge by the pool.

Beautiful property that has so much space inside and outside. They have everything you need and more for all ages. The location of the villa is perfect, a very quiet area but within walking distance to the old town and to the beach if your up for a bit longer walk.
Beautiful welcome package with all the essentials to get us going, the pool area is a sun trap and gets it right into the evening. Many areas to sit/eat/relax.
Perfect for those who do want some separate space too, with the master bedroom being quite separate to the other two rooms. The master is very spacious and newly done out. The other two rooms are much more traditional but plenty of storage and very comfortable.
Only watch out, nothing to do with the villa but the area is seriously struggling with taxis since COVID, often couldn't get one for hours. Prebookinv on The taxi1 app was the most reliable method.

The whole experience went like a dream. The villa was in a fantastic position, quiet and with beautiful gardens and pool. Inside it was extremely well equipped and comfortable, I would recommend it to anyone. Fantastic.

Wonderful holiday
We stay in the villa for 1 week and we all enjoyed our stay very much. The swimming pool was great, with sunbeds for everyone. Garden and house well kept. Big hotel like bathrooms. Close enough to town and beach by car. Very quiet and relax area. We would return.

Great villa and pool in stunning, peaceful surroundings
We are grateful to Roger and Barbara for sharing their beautiful Spanish home with us, we had a great holiday and the villa was superb. It was so much bigger than expected, both outside and in, and was spotlessly clean. We’ve stayed in lots of villas over the years and what sets this one apart is the attention to detail and the quality of things like the sun loungers and umbrellas - much better than a basic holiday rental. A very generous welcome pack was provided!
Communication with Roger prior to, and during, our stay was straightforward and he was very responsive and helpful with just the right amount of detail provided. The pool was fabulous, much bigger than expected, the photos don’t do it justice! Pool depth ranges from 1.2m to 2.0m with easy access via steps. The palm trees around the pool provide some welcome shade and the ‘ledge’ along one side catches the evening sun. Perfect!
The garden and pool area are very private and not overlooked, with the neighbouring properties well-screened. The villa is in a very tranquil setting with great views of the mountain and lots of greenery. WiFi worked well and there was good mobile phone coverage.
The layout of the villa would be ideal for two couples as the main bedrooms and bathrooms are quite separate from each other. The en suite bathroom is stunning! I highly recommend this property!

Beautiful Villa in an Amazing Location. As advertised !!!!
My Wife and I had the pleasure of staying at Roger and Barbara's Villa the first 10 days of May, 2019. We have used HomeAway in the past and Booked many Cottages , Hotel Rooms Etc with HomeAway and other Sites. This Villa was the first time we have arrived at one and were completely and Happily Surprised that the Villa far exceeded all of our expectations. We looked for a Villa in this area for months and could not be more pleased with the Villa and our Hosts Barbara and Roger who could not have been more honest and helpful on every basis of our Trip and Planning. Any one considering the Villa should know that the Pictures Do Not do the Villa and its surrounds Justice. The Villa is Huge , well laid out with everything and more than you will possibly need. The neighborhood is also Beautiful and Safe. My wife and I walked the nieghbourhood many times . The weather was amazing , on average 25C in the shade every afternoon with a refreshing Breeze all day long. Then there is the Crystal Clear Pool ( Temp 22) . I can not say enough about our stay other than we will be back in the near future and will surely take some friends. Also Thank you Barbara and Roger. Fabulous in every way!
We stayed at Roger’s villa for the second consecutive year and have just booked to come back next year too. The villa itself is absolutely wonderful, set in idyllic surroundings and Roger and Barbara have thought of everything to support your stay. We have 2 children and it works wonderfully for us to not be in a busy hotel with a packed swimming pool. Staying at the villa allows for that extra relaxation. We have been visiting the Javea area for the last 14 years and this is the best place we have found to stay. The area itself is beautiful and allows you to go from beach side to mountain top in no time at all. The charming city of Valencia is a drive away, and flights to Alicante are generally reasonably priced. We can not recommend this villa highly enough. Already can’t wait for our next visit in 2019!!

Stunning and Tranquil, perfect for relaxing
We stayed at El Pinito for 2 weeks and had the most relaxing time. The villa is spacious and well equipped and was very clean and the views from around the garden were beautiful. We spent most of our time outside either in or around the pool and the large outside dining table was perfect for eating al fresco. The pool was easily visible from the terrace area or the bar area which meant the kids could be in the pool even if we weren't. The owner was very helpful throughout the booking process and while we were at the villa and I would definitley recommend this villa.

Lovely property set in a wonderful garden setting. Excellent facilities and flexible living space.
We had a week in this lovely villa at the end of July. The house is set well away from the main road and is not overlooked by any of the neighboring properties. The house was clean and well appointed with everything one might need during a stay. Fresh bread and refrigerated items had been left for us on arrival including a nice cold beer and a bottle of wine; nice touch. We had great weather and spent most of our time outside where there are lots of places to sit in the sun or shade. There's a good quality gas BBQ which makes eating outdoors easy and a great pleasure. The outside bar area fridge came in handy for quenching a thirst and is a great spot for watching the sunset. Javea old town is beautiful and just a few minutes drive away with the harbor and beach not much further. There are loads of restaurants to choose from and some excellent ones very near by. I highly recommend this villa and will definitely return in the future - a precious find.
One observation for families with younger children; the master bedroom is separated from the other bedrooms. If you have children that call out or wake in the night, this layout might not work for you.

Amazing villa in a spectacular setting
We had a totally relaxing holiday in this well equipped and positioned villa. The setting is fabulous and it was a delight to eat breakfast in the outside kitchen area with views across the mountains.
The villa has everything you could need to make your stay enjoyable and the air conditioned bedrooms were the perfect antidote to the daytime temperatures. The kitchen and bathrooms were to a high standard and the extensive welcome pack an unexpected addition on our arrival. We have been using Owners Direct villas for a number of years and it was certainly the most generous we have ever received.
The outside pool area and the pool itself are so nicely done with the provision of two big parasols and the greenery bringing some protection from the sun. We used the gas barbecue on one occasion and found supermarkets/restaurants within easy reach (albeit a car is necessary to reach Javea - but we expected that and it wasn't a problem at all for us.)
We are grateful to the owners for allowing us the use of their beautiful villa and have no hesitation in recommending it to others. We would definitely hope to return. Thank you!

Great villa with excellent views of Montgo
We had an excellent holiday. We have been coming to Javea for over 20 years and last stayed in El Pinito more than 10 years ago. We found the improvements to the original nayas to be great. The villa was very comfortable and the complimentary welcome pack was much appreciated.
The gardens and the pool area are lovely and we especially enjoyed the views of Montgo. I think the summer kitchen will be a great addition when completed.
We were very impressed with the amount of information provided and the Wifi connection was very good.
The only problem we had was that we found it very difficult to manoevre the chairs around the outside table and also the cushions were very thin. We ended up using the plastic chairs from around the pool.
Nevertheless we were very impressed with the villa and will hopefully return.

Beautiful villa, secluded and very well appointed.
Had a lovely stay in this immaculate and extremely well equipped villa, set back from the road, so very peaceful. Didn't get much chance to utilise the garden and pool (given 60 mph winds and gales) but could see that this would be stunning when warm and sunny. The master bedroom is a haven to couples with kids which allows privacy away from the hubbub of the house. Log fire a lovely touch. Roger and Barbara were very helpful when we had a few hiccups and couldn't have done more to help. There was only one thing I would change.... the pillows are extremely hard, but seriously if that was all I had to complain about it shows you how impressed we were with the villa and all the support structure around it. The villa is superb, spacious and very well appointed and comfortable. The garden and pool are stunning with plenty of seating areas to view the wonderful views of the local countryside.
There is plenty to keep you occupied, meals out on the sea front at Javea and Denia, climbing Montgo with its stunning views of the surrounding areas.
The weather was superb, lovely and hot which is what we wanted (early August 2016), and we spent plenty of time relaxing by the beautiful villa, the pool, and its gardens, having a relaxing drink My family and I would thoroughly recommend this villa. (Many thanks Roger/Barbara…what a wonderful villa and holiday)

A stunning villa in a beautiful setting
The villa is very spacious and beautifully appointed. As a family of five, we were extremely comfortable, from the luxurious sofas and armchairs dotted around each room, to the elegant dining area and the large SMART TV. The gardens had a range of seating areas with stunning views, and the pool was beautifully designed and a perfect size. Whilst it was too hot when we were there (August 2016) to do too many activities, we enjoyed several meals on the seafront at Javea and had a day trip to Valencia. But the real attraction of this property is the beautiful villa, the pool, and its gardens: thoroughly recommended.

Wonderful Family Holiday
This is a lovely property in a beautiful, peaceful setting with stunning views of Mount Montgo. Inside is very well equipped with a very good standard of kitchen and bathrooms and good-sized lounge and indoor naya.
The pool is a very good size and our kids loved it. The outdoor eating and BBQ area was excellent, and once the kids were in bed the front patio area was perfect to sit and watch the sun set behind the mountain while enjoying a nice glass of wine or cold beer!
Throughout communications with the owner Roger were first class, who couldn't have been more helpful. All in all, a great holiday at a lovely villa.

Great villa, very comfortable
This is a lovely villa, with everything you need for a quiet, relaxing holiday.
The service was fantastic and the welcome pack was an added bonus which meant we didn't have to rush to a supermarket after travelling all day.
Air conditioning in all the bedrooms not just the master bedroom ensured we all slept well.
It is well located within reach by car of both the beach and the old town. The local supermarket sells the best steaks and burgers.
We travelled with young children who need to be supervised around the pool. It was easy to restrict their access and when they were there the steps made it easy for them to get into the water and they loved jumping off them.

A tranquil find
The reasons we enjoyed our stay in El Pinito were firstly that the house did not feel like a rental property, but someones home with good quality furniture, bedding and a great selection of kitchen equipment. Secondly the garden is well planted with plenty of shade and thirdly proximity to lots of restaurants.
