About this house rental

Red Door Kyneton is situated two blocks from the shopping centre in Kyneton and 800 metres from the railway station. A late 1970's house recently fully renovated, offers guests a clean, comfortable and affordable option for self catered accommodation.

The house sleeps up to 6 guests with two queen rooms, one with ensuite, and a twin room available. A spacious dining/lounge area and family room provides guests with the opportunity to feel at home. The kitchen features an electric stove, gas cook top, microwave oven, refrigerator and dishwasher. The gas heater has a child safety fence around it and has push button operation. Laundry facilities consist of washing machine, clothes dryer and outside clothes line. The enclosed backyard with a private entertainment courtyard and two car garage are totally secure. Provision of a porta cot and high chair is available for the family travelling with young children.

Red Door is ideally suited to the professional who is in town for a period of time and is looking for a spacious abode.

Special rates are available for longer stays and groups engaged in the many and varied activities on offer in the Macedon Ranges. There is NO two night minimum.

Red Door is within easy walking distance of the Kyneton Botanic Gardens which provides access to the Kyneton Community Park (Adventure Playground) and the Campaspe River Walk.

We had a very nice stay.The beds were very warm and comforable.Everything that we needed was their.So convenient for the school where we were participating in a fair. I highly recommend.

This property was perfect for us to visit Kyneton. Walking distance to the train station, Piper Street and the main amenities. So much space - clean and tidy with everything you could possibly need. Heather was very helpful. Bathrooms and beds were of a very high standard.

We enjoyed our stay in Kyneton. The property is very clean and had everything we needed. The beds are comfortable, and the owners are pleasant and easy to deal with. The position of the house is good too. We would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful location in “old Kyneton”, very comfortable & spacious family home provided convenient accommodation for x2 couples plus another twin bedroom available if needed. Ensuite & second large bathroom with bath, both recently renovated & modern. Sheltered & secluded pretty back garden. Double lockup garage plus plenty of on street parking under the old oak trees. Short walk to Botanic Gardens & local fabulous Albion Hotel & all the shops of Kyneton.

I recently stayed here with 3 friends to celebrate my 40th. Communication with Heather was so easy from booking through to check-in/out. The house was clean, tidy & comfortable and had everything we needed. Location was perfect, just a short walk to town and the botanical gardens. Would definitely recommend.

Perfect accommodation for family time in the beautiful Kyneton. Red Door is in a perfect position close to cafes, shops and the lovely Botanic Gardens. Heather and Geoff were easy to communicate with and their home was spotless with all amenities in good order. The property was all we wanted for our family stay and would definitely recommend to others.

We stayed here for a friend’s wedding and it was just a short walk to the shops and restaurants - and the botanic gardens are just at the end of the street! The property was lovely and clean, and Heather was a wonderful host who met us upon check-in and gave us a rundown of what we needed to know. We were only there for a couple of nights but it seems like the perfect place for a longer stay.

Excellent house for a larger group or family to stay. Very welcoming host. The house is in a fantastic location for the centre and Botanic Gardens. Very well set up for families with young children, lots of toys to play with. Will be back.

We had a great stay, the house was so clean and the heater was already turned on when we checked in- lovely touch. It was also nice that some breakfast was provided which we didn't make use of - such a thoughtful gesture. Thank you Heather for your hospitality and you have a lovely home. Very comfortable and well appointed house that was perfect for myself and three friends for a girls' weekend away. Walking distance to Piper St for Saturday dining and Sunday morning coffee run. A very easy checkin in with Heather.
