Ker Coulinec is the name that you discover at the entry to this marvelous house. Coulinec is the little island that you see when looking through the first floor windows (and Ker just means house in Breton). Nothing is between you and the sea while relaxing in a room beautifully decorated with taste in maritime style. Even the floor reminds you of a boat with its white painted wooden planks. The house is in all respects perfectly equipped: the kitchen holds everything you need for cooking and feeding even a bigger crowd (we were only two), the terrace in front is at the same time huge and protected. On sunny days (yes, they exist in Britanny) you can relax on a deckchair. The possibilities for leisure activities are phantastic with a 60 km long path running along the coastline and starting in front of the house. Also in front, just a few steps down, you find a beautiful sandy beach, called (rightly so) "Les sables blancs" which is very inviting for a swim in the evenings. And finally when it comes to feeding outside as you might be too lazy for cooking: there is plenty of good to excellent restaurants in the village of Treboul and even more in Douarnenez. Thus, the place is perfect for discovering the most beautiful part of Britanny, which is called the End of the World (Finistere).

We much enjoyed the spacious house with plenty of room for all individuals, but also a nice living room and kitchen to sit, chat and have a drink together after a long day on the water. The house offers a beautiful view over the bay, and has a real nautical character to it. Its location is just a nice 10 min walk away from the bars and restaurants. Our late arrival after a long drive from The Netherlands was no problem, and we received a warm welcome. We would do it again ...

We loved the house, its privacy and the superb views across the bay especially with the comings and goinings of the yachts, dingies, canoes and fishing vessels. Treboul beach, and the few bars and restaurants are within a few minutes walk with more further on in Douarnenez. The nearby port, the marinas and the coastal walks make it an interesting destination. Quimper was easy to get to and the peninsula was great for a slow drive-around.

"The house offers an excellent sea view from the spacious living room. The bath rooms are new, the beds have excellent matresses(for me a good sleep is the key to a relaxing holiday). The location of the house is ideal for - walks on the "Sentier de dounaniers", which is directly in front of the house - swimming in the sea (beach can be reached by stairs in front of the house (cross the small street) - a visit of Pointe du Van and Pointe du Raz - Locronan We enjoyed our holiday in the house. It is more comfortable if you are only 2-4 people, but more should also be possible (we have been just 2)."
