About this apartment rental

Our lovely apartment is located on the top floor of the small-scale Blue Bay Triple Tree apartment complex. It is a corner apartment with fantastic views over the ocean and golf course. It has a large terrace with awning, lounge set, lounger and extra dining table and chairs. It has the best location of all apartments for sun, wind and privacy. There is a ceiling fan on the terrace. You can enjoy the great view here.
The apartment has a large living room with open kitchen, two large bedrooms, each with its own bathroom with walk-in shower, washbasin and toilet. An extra toilet and a washing machine room with washer/dryer, ironing board etc.

The fully equipped kitchen is equipped with appliances such as hob, oven, dishwasher, freezer, refrigerator, kettle, blender, filter coffee machine.
The living room has a flat screen TV. The internet TV has all Dutch and many European, American and Spanish channels. Also many sports channels and movies. There is a sliding door to the balcony. There is air conditioning in all rooms and a good fiber optic WiFi connection throughout the apartment.
Downstairs at the rear is the private swimming pool with sunbeds, toilet block and shower. There is an elevator in the building. There is a parking lot at the front as well as at the side where you can park for free.
Blue Bay resort is an exclusive 24/7 secured resort where you can enjoy golf, swimming, tennis, diving, snorkeling, etc. The beach is a 200m walk and is one of the most beautiful beaches of Curaçao.
The resort is 15 minutes away by car from the airport. A large modern supermarket 5 minutes away and the center of Willemstad 15 minutes away.
Everything is provided in the apartment, linen and towels. The price includes an interim cleaning, for stays longer than 9 days. You will also receive clean linen and clean towels. We think it is important to use energy consciously. The price does not include the consumption of electricity and water. A surcharge is paid as an advance for the costs. In most cases this is enough, the extra costs will be settled with the damage insurance / deposit. If too much surcharge has been paid, this will be refunded.

The apartment has a large balcony with a spectacular view of the resort and the ocean from a distance. Just beautiful! We also loved the beach for bathing and snorkeling. The beach has lights at night to enjoy the ocean breeze as you sip a drink. If you are fine driving (we used the APP "Maps.me" to get around), then the location is also perfect to access northern and southern areas for snorkeling. The internet is a bit spotty and the living room sofa could be bigger and more comfortable to lounge, but otherwise this was a GREAT place to stay! My family and I were very impressed!

Great vacation

We loved our 8 days in Curacao at this condo. The power went off to the entire island one of the days and then it took an additional day or two to get the elevator working again. Apparently the island loses power once or twice a year. But, being high up we got some good breezes constantly. The beach at the resort is great, but I highly recommend renting a car and going to some of the other beaches on the island which are even more beautiful. The condo was comfortable and well equipped, although the second bedroom could use a fan like the master bedroom has. The second bedroom's ensuite bathroom's shower drain is uphill, so the entire time you are showering you are trying to kick water towards the drain otherwise the water makes its way into the bedroom, so keep everything off of the floor. We spent much of our time at the condo out on the balcony enjoying the breeze and views. Such a great vacation!

A pleasant experience in a gated community

The apartment is clean and maintained very well. All minimum essentials for living comfortably are in place and in good shape. On the way in, add paper towels and soap to your initial grocery shopping list. Parking is convenient. The property manager was very responsive when we reported a clogged shower drain. If traveling from the US, bring your type F adapter (small washcloths, too). On an upper floor, the apartment has nice views of the Blue Bay area. Beach set-up is full-service (food & beverage; short drive; long walk) and quite nice - arrive earlier than 0930 to have a good selection of shaded chairs. The private pool at the apartment building is a welcome area if the beach gets crowded. Enjoy!

A wonderful week

A wonderful week

We had a great week of vacation. The unit is very clean, comfortable and well equipped. The view from the balcony is incredible! The location is perfect; close to the beach by walk ( but the condo is on a hill on return ! ) but easily reached by car from the airport, the grocery and the city. The beach is relatively small but with a lot of beach chairs. The water is calm; a great place for snorkel. Our hosts were really nice to assist us for all the questions that we had. Our family loved our stay.

Great view. The only complaint is the beds are super firm. Might be good for a few, but not for us. Sleep is so important.
