About this cottage rental

This is a beautiful residence restored preserving its integrity in the baseline characteristics of its construction, especially sandstone vaults built in the old style.

In the 'die Baleare', a book written in 1890 by Archduke Lluís Salvador of Austria, describes the house among the best buildings in Menorca and from which you could enjoy the best views of the island.

The house is actually two adjoining houses, each fully self contained with full facilities and therefore ideal for groups of family or friends wishing to holiday together and preserve the same time, a certain degree of privacy. Eating together is not a problem for family groups inside or outside because the house is very well equipped for large groups.

A careful restoration has created a unique environment in which modern comforts blend tastefully with beamed ceilings and terracotta floors. The skills of local craftsmen are evident in carpentry and different pieces of restored furniture, while the vaulted, hand-carved from the living room and dining room ceilings are particularly impressive.

Juan's property was an incredible getaway for our family. There were days where we were happy to just relax on the property with the pool and the park-like setting and takeaway meals. Everything was a highlight - the convenient side-by-side house set up for separate areas but still a feeling of togetherness; the large, well-maintained pool; the large grassy yard; the proximity to Ciutadella shops/restaurants; the proximity to great beaches (don't miss Cala Turqueta straight down the road); conveniences like washer/dryer & AC; and of course Juan and family themselves. This property is a treasure that we will lucky to visit again!

We have just had the most amazing week at this property. Juan and his son are really lovely, very helpful and friendly. We had age range of 1 years up to 61, there were 13 of us and everything worked for us as a family unit . Thoroughly recommend

We loved our stay so much! There were 9 of us (4 kids under 8) and we had so much space to spread out and be together. Days began and ended with dips in the glistening pool, dinners outside with many day trips to nearby beaches. Love how close the city is — 5 minutes — but how far away the property feels from everything. Very relaxing. I miss this place already!

This is a well-equipped and comfortable accommodation ideal for our large family group. The pool and grounds are well-maintained, the location very convenient for Cuitadella and Juan was a perfect host. This is definitely somewhere I’d come come back to.

This was the perfect villa for our holiday. We were an intergenerational group of family and friends so the two villas worked perfectly. The villas are well equipped with everything you might need and the pool and garden is just the loveliest place to relax. The location means all you hear is birdsong - although a car is essential to get to the beaches. It’s a little gem!

We absolutely loved our stay at Juan’s home. We were a group of 12 people (6 adults and 6 children aged 3 - 10). The house has everything you need for a long or short stay. The pool is incredible and was much needed for our July stay. We used the kitchens and barbecue area a lot and we found them well-equipped. The location is great with only a short drive to Ciudadela or to the beautiful southern beaches of Son Saura, Cala Turqueta and Macarella. Don’t sleep on this place, it’s truly a gem.

Lovely setting Basic amenities ie soap and half toilet rolls in bathrooms. Owner requested our early departure at 10am due to essential garden work on night before day of departure. The owner at 9am on our departure (Sunday) proceeded to use machinery around garden without prior notice. Owner was often walking around the grounds without prior notice, we felt slightly lacking in privacy.

The Villa was just beautiful. Juan was really helpful and easy to communicate with. He met us outside to drop off the keys. The Villa itself is in a lovely quiet spot a short walk from Cuitadella. The Pool is lovely. We really enjoyed our Stay. Muchos Gracias Juan !!!

Our group of 7 adults and 1 baby had a great week at the property. There was plenty of space and a good level of equipment and appliances. The surroundings are quiet and the pool area is always in the sun with plenty of loungers and other seating. Ciutadella and the main road are within easy reach and Juan is close by for any questions. A good base for a relaxing break and exploring the island.

Our stay at the villa was amazing! Everything was clean when we arrived and it was fully stocked with everything we needed for our stay. The pool and outside area was our faviourite spot, we spent most of our time in the pool and layin on the sun chairs! A muchas gracias to Juan our host, who was so nice, accomodating and patient with such a big bunch of us! Thank you Juan for a great stay, we will definitely recommend to others and hopefully be back again ourselves! :) Nicole
