Updated cottage with the latest amenities. Quiet second level unit with separate access with separate decks and a gas grill. Huge lawn and dock on a tidal creek with views of the Morris Island lighthouse. Vast scenic marshes and creek views. Across the street from the beach and two houses down from the public Beach access. The beach access has a ADA ramp. Two off street parking spaces.

This property was perfect for us. It's close to the beach and far enough down Ashley Ave to be on the quieter side. Host was great too. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

After a LONG 14 hour drive we walked into the most relaxing house with champagne waiting for us in the refrigerator. Although it was a long trip the sound of the waves from the front porch and the beautiful sunrise from the back deck made it worth the drive. Our daughter graduated from College of Charleston and she was able to come and relax before and after the ceremony with us. The house had everything you could ask for. The kitchen was fully stocked with spices and all the pots and pans and extras that I have never had at another VRBO. The house was spotless when we came in and the decor made it feel very relaxing. I would definitely recommend this property as well as the hosts as they were very quick to respond to my questions.

We just returned from a glorious 2 weeks at Salt & Sol. We've been to Folly many times staying at many different properties but this is our new favorite. So much thought has gone into making Salt & Sol a beautiful, well-equipped place for restoration and relaxation. Hearing the roar of the surf from the front deck, watching the plethora of birds on the marsh and sleeping in the very cheerful, comfortable master were all delights! Thanks John, Jean & Duke for being fabulous hosts!

I have rented many properties through VBRO and this is one of the very best by far! The house is comfortable, clean, and updated in every way. Attention to detail is seen from the fully equipped kitchen (spices, cookware, plates, glassware, even ziplock bags and aluminum foil!), to nice towels, laundry detergent, hand soap, and the list goes on!!! Thank you for a wonderful stay on Folly Beach!

We had a wonderful stay with our family. The house was beautiful and had everything we needed. The owner went above and beyond to make our stay special, providing beach chairs to the family. We loved hearing the ocean on one side and looking at the peaceful marsh in the backyard. The house was also located in a quiet area of the island, which we really enjoyed. The beach was a few steps away. We would definitely stay there again!

Great stay. Fabulous view and walkout to marsh. A three minute walk across the street to the beach. Very comfortable and nicely decorated cottage. Located far down the east side away from the noise and congestion. Would stay here again.

This was our first time staying at Salt and Sol, and it was great! We were looking for a quiet place to stay in good proximity to the beach, and were not disappointed. The renovation was thoughtfully done, and the space feels much larger than we expected it to!

We rented John and Jean’s wonderful home for two months. John & Jean have been charming hosts, communication from immediate contact has been easy and instant. Every question we asked was answered in full, we felt very reassured before our arrival. The home is stunning. Spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated and extremely well equipped. Everything was thought through very carefully anticipating what their guests might need for a comfortable and easy stay on Folly. The comfortable beds allowed for a good night sleep which makes a huge difference to a vacation. I highly recommend anyone stay at this delightful home with these wonderful hosts. We hope to return in the near future.

Wish we could have stayed longer!

We were very impressed with our stay at Salt and Sol on Folly Beach. The house is smartly decorated and impeccably clean, just a comfortable home away from home. The beach is a short walk away and you can see the ocean from the front deck and bedroom. Honestly, you won't find a nicer place to stay at Folly...or for a trip to Charleston, which is less than 30 minutes away. Don't hesitate to book this home for your next vacation.

Great house and location

We really appreciated the ease of going to and from the beach throughout the day. My wife loved the decor of the house and I found it very relaxing. No problem bringing our dog and he had a blast running around on the beach. There is good surf fishing right next to the house. The owners were considerate and helpful throughout the process. We hope to stay here again

This is the second time we stayed at Salt and Sol. The property is as nice as it seems in the pictures. It is in a great part of Folly--small and private, but still a short drive to the action. It is a very short walk to the beach. You get AMAZING sunset views over the marsh at night. The check-in process is very easy. Overall, it's a great place to stay!

Super location - beach just across the street (3 minute walk) and incredible marsh view in the back. Very cool and stylish furnishings. In particular the many unique light fixtures and craft bar-like countertops gave the place a really neat vibe. Overall a fantastic week at Salt and Sol!

This is a beautiful property with great amenities, is clean, comfortable and nicely appointed. We had our dog with us and she had a great time walking on the beach which is just across the street. So glad we booked this place! Owners' dedication to making the place something proud to share with others is evident.

The house was beautifully decorated, clean, and the location was perfect. Across from beach access which was very easy. House decks are nicely closed off so you can enjoy sitting outside with your pet and not have to worry about them getting out. Only suggestion would be some work on back lawn which was muddy and so unfortunately not easy to explore the beautiful view of the marsh or take the dog for his necessities. We will definitely be returning!!

This place is even nicer than the pictures look! It is clean and well-equipped. The owners are quick to answer questions, but give you privacy. It’s in a great area where the beach is not crowded. You get ocean and marsh views (beautiful sunsets). It’s only a few minutes drive to the main strip of Folly, which is quite cute. Charleston is only 30min away as well. I’m so glad we booked this property for our trip to Folly!

We had a wonderful week in Salt and Sol. Your home is beautifully decorated and perfectly equipped. From the welcoming Prosecco and complimentary coffee, to the beach chairs and umbrellas you graciously loaned us, our family felt right at home. The kitchen had everything needed for cooking on the nights we didn’t go out for dinner. The location was ideal; a short walk to the beach, a short drive to downtown Folly, and the back deck was the perfect spot for watching the sun set over the marsh. We saw the most incredible sunset over the marsh. Salt and Sol is quiet, relaxing, but as active as you want to be in the waves and on the beach. The hosts are attentive, kind, think of everything, and will make you feel like you are an A-lister when you arrive!

The home is beautifully decorated and very clean. The marsh views were surprisingly wonderful and the beach is right across the street.Plenty of living space and a great kitchen. The front and back decks are closed so our dog could sit with us:) Even the parking, check-in/out was easy. Exceeded our expectations- definitely recommend!

This home is stunning. Super clean and the decor was amazing. The location is great with beach access across the street. Far enough away from downtown Folly for some quiet but a quick drive in. The host was quick to reply to my messages and very accommodating. The house was equipped with everything you need. Almost felt like a hotel! I would stay here again for sure.

Everything about this house is fantastic: extremely comfortable, stylish, clean and convenient. The marsh sunset views are gorgeous and the peek of the ocean across the street is perfect. We can't wait to stay here again and have already sent it to several friends that travel to Folly.

Great place with all the touches

I few miles from downtown folly beach, quiet atomosphere with all the little things you need. Very close to public access to the beach and great front balcony. There are televisions in each room and kitchen is great area to enjoy family time or a social drink or two. Nice place!
