It’s was lovey room was lovely and big and perfect it was just the food that was an issue

The room was lovely and big and bed was comfortable and was in prim location for seeing the family and far enough out to get away from the madness of the ball game.

We didnt have breakfast option with our room which would of been nice to have. my husband came down in the evening one night and asked a bar maid if we can order food and take it up to our room but we was told no, but the night before we was aloud to take our drinks up with a menu. We would have ordered food but because we couldn’t have it in room we went Tescos and got some snacks to take up to our room instead. Which was a bit disappointing. As we wanted a nice meal for valentines in room.

great for short stay if you don't mind it being noisy

rooms are clean and have good facilities at a reasonable price , staff are helpful and bed comfortable . very good restaurant attached very good location

unfortunately the noise from the bar was terrible doors banging as was over door leading to outside and people going in and out to smoke constantly also from rooms around me

Nice big room, pillows were comfy and nice thickness of duvet. Came with 3 fans and food was excellent

my partner refused access to bar over something that had occured months earlier. This included a hint that my partner was there with someone else. Quite true but I know the other person who is a friend of ours

Loved the location, really good value for money.

We didn’t like that the key to open the fire escape was the same to open your door to your room leading me to believe that every door had the same key.

Pleasant stay at Blue Boar

Room comfortable . Very warm just turned radiator down. Good selection tea and coffee. Biscuits left. . Bathroom essentials left if didn't bring own . Towels included. Restaurant have a nice menu value for money. Bar if you like a drink of alcohol. Relatives and friends live local so a nice meeting place for a lunch, evening meal or a few drinks at the bar.

Heating system noisy through the night . Daughter slept through this . No breakfast served during our stay but plenty of near by to eat. Greggs Costa and Dobbies down the road.

I was there to meet up with family at a function being held at the Blue Boar so perfect location

Passable

The staff were helpful and pleasant and there was plenty of free on site parking. There was a restaurant which I ate in and last night I had one of the best steak pies I've ever eaten, the meat was so tender and no fat. It was absolutely delicious.
