Martha was amazing and compassionate with us and our last minute changes. Communication was easy. Martha responds very quickly. The accommodation was comfy, the wood fire is a lovely touch and very welcome. The view is sensational, the house is very private on a large parcel of land. Thank you so much Martha!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at White Beach. It was so peaceful and close to everything we needed.

Beautiful views, steep driveway. Location was good for our purposes. House was cold when we arrived but fire was set and did warm up well. One hot plate not working.

Relaxing break at white beach.

Perched up on the hill, facing north, wonderful patio overlooking White Beach. Full moon rise over the water, beautiful sunrises from bed. Home was clean, comfortable, had everything. Didn't want to leave!

This is not a modern state of the art house with all mod cons (there is no wifi), BUT is clean and comfortable and it feels like home and has everything you need for you stay. The location is quiet and great to unwind with a bottle of wine!!
4.5
A wonderful place to stay for a few nights with family. We enjoyed exploring the area, even if it meant traversing the rather steep gravel driveway! A short drive to main attractions, food and services. Thank you for having us

We had a lovely 3 nights at this property. The house is spacious and the location is convenient to Port Arthur and many sights. Thank you for our stay!

Set back a little from the road, the property had great views of the bay. The property had everything required for an easy stay.

Clean, warm, heaps of character best views

Two couples stayed at this holiday home. We were very comfortable there. We cooked all of our meals there and had everything we needed. We appreciated the hot drink mixes and supplies. The view was lovely.

The house was a modest beach house, but was well equipped. Great location.

This was the second time we have stayed, and we enjoyed it just as much. Beautiful views of White Beach could be enjoyed from the balcony, or sitting by the fireplace. The kids could run around the yard, and we enjoyed exploring the beach down below. There was lots of things to do as a family, including exploring Roaring Beach, Remarkable Cave and Lime Bay. We could cook our own meals there or choose from pub fare, cafe or fish and chip shop in Nubeena. We really enjoyed our time and would recommend to anyone who enjoys nature and bauty.

So pleased we chose White Beach as a base from which to explore the Peninsula and the many walks/hikes it offered. The house was perfect - cosy and well equipped with stunning views.

It was very quiet and relaxing.

The view from this property is really spectacular and very calming and is the main selling point. We used the house as a base to explore the Tasman Peninsula over two days and it was convenient. The house itself was very basic and felt a bit cramped for our family of four. They’ve added some additional furniture and furnishings since the photos were taken, which don’t serve any real functional or aesthetic purpose, and make the house feel a bit cluttered. There were stains on the couch and rug and some very creased and tired looking table coverings, which felt a bit shabby. There was also evidence of mice in the kitchen.

Stunning views. Quiet location perfect for a family break. The house itself was comfy and had everything we needed. The furniture, appliances and decor did feel a little tired, worn and in need of a good spring clean.

This home best accommodates 4 adults maximum. Limited space for luggage and limited modern conveniences. Not suitable for people with mobility issues. Hosts were very accommodating with last minute unavoidable issue with the fridge.
4.5
Perfect to get away from everything. We really enjoyed our stay.

Great location for exploring the area. Brilliant view. Had everything we needed.

This property has an unbeatable view of white beach, its private and quiet. Could do with some new bed sheets but overall we loved it.

Our 2-night stay here was wonderful. Such a contrast to the previous evening where we stayed in an impersonal hotel on a very busy road in Hobart for a comparable price. Communcation was terrific and we had a very relaxing stay. It's great when expectations are exceeded and the location, privacy and outlook certainly achieved that. Communcation was terrific as was info re shops, check in etc. It was lovely to arrive late afternoon and enjoy some sunshine on the large deck - especially after all those steps to Cape Huay that day! The boys loved swimming at the beach and this home was the ideal base from which to explore this lovely region. This was our first visit as a family to Tassie and Whitebeach Holiday House was the perfect way to start our trip. We would have happily stayed longer but had to pack a lot in to our holiday which we did. Thank you!

Port Arthur was only 10kms away and was worth going to see. All the sites close by were amazing. This includes tasmans arch, blow hole, devil kitchen, remarkable cave.and not to mention white beach. Close supermarkets and bottle O. We had a little visit from a kookaburra as well. We loved our stay it was beautiful.

Great shack, homely feel and proximity to beach absolutely amazing! Really felt a million miles away from it all. Thanks so much.

This house was well equipped and had a homely feel. The views were amazing and we enjoyed using the very expansive deck. An easy house to rock up to and start your holiday. An added extra were the wallabies that visited every evening!
4.5
We enjoyed the view, appreciated the proximity of the beach, & loved the history of the house construction.

Lovely property in a beautiful location.
It has everything you could need.
The front driveway is gravel and steep so a small vehicle could struggle, but you can travel another 10 metre's and park behind the property which may be easier for some.
You get a very warm and welcoming feel of the home and the view over White Beach is breath taking.
Brilliant location for discovering the Port Arthur area and there is plenty to see.

Comfortable house in terrific location. Exquisite views from all main rooms. Whisper quiet.

House is in a good location, was clean on the inside and rooms a decent size with comfy beds and all kitchen utensils provided.
A few things to note:
- video player doesn’t work
- the tv aerial is extremely loose which greatly affects the channel reception. It’s ok on a still day but when we were there it was extremely windy, which meant we had no tv either (being on a hill I imagine this would be common) and as a result we had bored and upset kids as there was nothing to do (too windy outside). There was a couple of board games, a pack of cards and puzzles but none of these were age appropriate for our kids.
- the knives are ridiculously blunt! We had to go and buy our own knife.
- the cobwebs outside are literally taking over the wall and windows have not been cleaned in a while. I did take some photos but unable to post them here.
- the main (large) hot plate doesn’t work
- the knob is missing from one which means you can’t use one hot plate
- the hot plates that do work all seem to only have high heat working. simmer/low did not seem to work as everything was constantly boiling.
I’ve informed the owner of these things so hopefully they are rectified for the next person.
Apart from the house feeling a bit neglected we had a lovely view and it was in a nice, quiet position.

We had a great stay as a family of 4 all of us adults. Big deck to enjoy fantastic views, good location and enough comfort even though old kitchen and appliances and 2 smaller bedrooms. The downsize is the TV. Small, in a cabinet which makes it hard to see from every angle with cabinet doors opened.
The check in process could also be an issue as the lockbox is too hidden and too high. Difficult to access even if tall. Numbers absolutely need to align to open so quite a bit of fiddling.

A kayak would be awesome 👌

Great house with everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. Quiet location with lovely view and a 2 minute walk to the beach.
4.5
The view from the elevated deck overlooking White Beach Bay is so picturesque and it's only a 100m walk to the beach. Not far from Nubeena. Surrounded by birds including a couple of resident Kookaburras, Wallabies and Pademelons.
The woodfire was nice to have on when it was cold at night too. Fully equipped kitchen with all the appliances and cookware you need.
Lots to do and see in the area and don't forget to bring binoculars and camera because the scenery is absolutely spectacular especially around
Only 10 kms from Port Arthur and not far from Unzoo.

Very comfortable, everything you needed was provided

A nice little property that’s comfortable with good views over the bay. Easy access to Port Arthur, Fortescue Bay and other local attractions.
All the gear is there to be self sufficient with cooking.
We enjoyed our couple of nights chilling out there.
Thank you!

A lovely, clean, comfortable home offering terrific views with all the basics we needed. I wish this was our holiday house. It suited our family of 4 perfectly. Great instructions for operating everything. Some laundry powder was the only thing missing. And the wood for the fireplace did not burn well (maybe not dry?) but those were very small issues for a perfect stay. Thanks to the hosts! Enjoy :)

We had a small hire car that struggled up the driveway, apart from that terrific stay! Thankyou
P.s. also no clothes line

The property (a house) is in a great location with a super view from the large deck. It's only 10kms from historic Port Arthur and close to a supermarket, pub and eateries.
The property is well appointed, modern and clean.
There is an additional bonus of wallabies coming out onto the lawn and a friendly kookaburra that comes to the deck.
We certainly recommend this property and would return if holidaying in the area.
