Overall the property was perfect for out needs. Amazing location righr acroas the street from a small beach. Room for our 3 kids. Close to the ferry and Boston.
Only cons are in the listing it says toys, video games, childrens kitchen things supplied. They are not. No body wash. And my husband had to run to home depot to fix one of the twin bedframes the first night there and repair the door knob to the master bedroom.
O erall great experience. Amazing responsive kind host.

Was going to Boston for Kane Brown concert at Fenway Park with my 2 sons and boyfriend. Decided to make it a little vacation. Once decided that knew I needed a place to do some fishing. First night there went to Coop’s Bar & Grill. Delicious food. Next day went down to the bait shop to gather a few supplies to fish off Nut Island Pier. After fishing went to Off the Hook restaurant. Food was okay. Went back to fish more. I was the only one to anything which was a striper. Fishing in the evening at the pier gets very crowded. Locals are trying to catch squid. Next day spent some time in Boston. Would have liked to have been there longer but I did get to Cheers bar. I like food there & grabbed a souvenir. To be the last day went to Canton for Top Golf then to Boston for Wahlburgers and the concert. All was good till I realized I lost the car rental key. I had better luck with the property owner helping me problem solve than being able to get a hold of the car rental place with their 24 hour assistance. Once everything was solved with car was able to head home a few hours later than what was planned. But it all worked out. Thank you to Deborah and Susan.

Traveling with my mother and young adult niece, we choose this spot to have a quiet, safe spot to call home base after touring the city. This spot met the mark! All the essentials were provided, and it was super easy to call in a grocery delivery or food order when needed. Transport into town via Uber was convenient enough and still cost significantly less than a rental car for our stay would have been. And the view and access to water are added bonuses. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a quiet, safe spot that is convenient to surrounding areas. We will return!

We had a fabulous stay here over the week of the Fourth of July! My kids loved visiting the beach right out front every morning and night. At low tide, there is a small strip of beach and the kids found crabs and other ocean life. At high tide, the water comes all the way up to the side of the flood wall. The kids loved kayaking right out front too! The apartment was well stocked and the host was incredibly generous and welcoming, with beach towels and body boards we could take on our beach day to nearby Nantasket Beach. She also dropped off some fun Fourth of July hats and noisemakers, which was so sweet! The apartment is also well situated for a ferry ride or a drive into downtown. We took the ferry from Quincy one day and also drove in to town, which only took about 20 min. Near to the original Dunkin’ Donuts and a great grocery store too. Comfortable beds and everything else that we needed. Would stay again, highly recommend!

We stayed here for our summer vacation. We were busy, so the house was a place to sleep. It was muggy because there’s no central air, just a free standing unit in the living room. It made for stuffy nights unless you kept the bedroom doors open. Sleeping with the windows open was difficult because traffic on the streets was nonstop & loud. The fridge had leftover food from prior tenants & there was a dirty washcloth in the shower, which we’ve never encountered at a VRBO before & made us wonder if their cleaning crew had done anything. The pics of the property & views listed were very misleading. You might have some of those views if you had access to the whole house. We were surprised that someone was living on the 2nd floor, so we weren’t prepared to see & hear signs of life upstairs. When people say the floor slopes, it REALLY slopes, like things were sliding down the floor & it was a fall risk & we were tripping if we didn’t pay attention. The bathroom didn’t lock & you had to control the light from the outside of the bathroom, which the kids enjoyed pranking each other, so there was that. I didn’t complain because it was what it was & aside from the fact they need a better cleaning crew, the rest was structural & bad location in general. Although, would be nice to update pics to reflect what you’re actually getting & advertise it’s not a house, it’s just a downstairs apartment. It served it’s function, but I wouldn’t stay here again.

House is great, and public transportation right outside the door. Deborah is very god at communicating. Weve stayed there several times.

We had the best time here. House was excellent and the owner was amazing. She has a lot of stuff there you can do. Kayaks, fishing poles, metal det. And so much more. We had a blast looking for shells and seaglass when the tides were out. Great views as well!! Would definitely stay there again.

The location is excellent for getting into Boston either by driving or by parking at train station and taking the train. The view of the Boston skyline from the house is breathtaking. The house is very comfortable and unique. Pretty much everything is provided for you. Great communication with the host. We sure hope to come back again.

The house is nearly on the water. Only one street separates the house from the bay. Across the bay is an unobstructed view of downtown Boston. We took Ubers into town each day and never waited more than 10 minutes for a pick up. The drive into Boston was rather easy.
The house had comfortable furniture and beds. The owner communicated well and even had a warm loaf of bread waiting for us. The bathroom was well-stocked with 2-ply toilet paper! If I make it back to Boston, I will definitely stay here again.

We will start with the fact that all the reviews were favorable, but we wondered if those folks ever stayed anywhere else that they could actually compare the property with? Yes, it was an old place, but there are a lot of things that you really don't know before getting there. One being that the floors are so lopsided and slanted that it is hard to navigate in some areas. The master bedroom runs completely downhill, and the walk-in closet makes you feel as if you are going down a long hill, you slide right into the corner. This is not a good place for anyone that may have trouble walking or a disability. The main description notes 3 bedrooms, be sure to read the fine print when you scroll down because one of the bedrooms is actually the living room. There are roads on either side of the home, so you hear traffic constantly. If you expect to hear waves like the description notes, you will be disappointed. The view is very pretty, but the photos on line are taken from an upstairs window, which you will not have. You have access to the downstairs only. There is no place outside to actually sit and enjoy the view. The massage chair in the living room does not work very well and is extremely loud. The bathroom could use a little updating as the shower stall does not look very appealing and the bath mat is stained. The towels were a bit worn and stained also. Most of the brochures that are there are out of date by a few years, so you may not get accurate information if you rely on them (we left some new ones). The mattresses are not very comfortable, the twin beds sink way down and the bed in the living room bangs and clunks every time you move. The description also notes 10 minutes from one place to another, but it's not as easy as it sounds, especially if relying on public transportation. We asked for directions to the ferry and was provided with a printout of a map page with no directions. We were a bit disappointed by that. The kitchen sink also had a horrible odor coming from it - we believe it was from the garbage disposal, which should probably be cleaned. If you want to stay away from it all and have your own car, this may be a good area. Just not what we expected based on the description. It wasn't the worst place we ever encountered, but probably wouldn't use it again. A little too far from everything when relying on public transportation, and the uneven floors throughout were challenging.

This property is at a perfect location between Boston and Plymouth. Close to but not in the city. Waterfront with views of the sunset give this location a high rating. The reason for the 4-star rating on the accuracy of online listing is because it is listed as a 3-bedroom, kitchen, living room and dining room, etc. Bedroom #3 is actually a bed placed in the living room. Other than that is was a great stay. Thank You,

Incredible!
I was looking for a place that my kids, ages 7, 8, and 9, could be comfortable in, from where we could launch for day trips, and where we all could enjoy the waterfront. This place did NOT disappoint! One of my favorite experiences from the 8-day trip was watching my children exploring Quincy Bay and enjoying the waves! The location was perfect! The bus from Quincy Station stopped right at our door! And the bus to QS was a couple blocks away, to which my children walked on the bay wall. The televisions and wifi allowed us all to zone out at the end of what we made very long days. It was wonderful to come "home" to a comfy and inviting place. I strongly recommend it!

Enjoyed our time in Quincy
My family enjoyed our stay in Quincy. It was a great home-base for traveling into Boston and trips down to Cape Cod and Newport, RI. The subway was a short drive from the house and easy to navigate. I read many reviews and knew what to expect as far as quirks to an older home (ie. slanted floors) and the roads on the sides of the house. We enjoyed watching the Boston skyline from the sea wall across from the house, eating at Off the Hook, and getting ice cream from the neighborhood shop. We appreciated the beach gear and maps/pamphlets for area attractions. The house was stocked with what we needed and fairly priced.

Everything was great
Everything is as described. Communication was always quick and easy to understand. My kids loved walking across the street and collecting shells each day. The closest beach is very rocky, fyi, so you’ll want water shoes.
Place was comfortable and we knew the age/what to expect so it was totally fine! And it’s great that they have everything you need! Not having to pack linens is so helpful!

Nice views, and town.
Had a great time in the area, home is ok, older, but its was perfect for the wife and I. Views were great, and close enough to all major attractions in Boston. Property manager was extremely prompt and check in was easy and friendly. Overall we had everything we needed. Beach supplies, beds and shower, and the price was very fair.

Peaceful
The house was as advertised and the view was gorgeous. Getting into Boston daily was a tad expensive-I’d recommend a rental car if you need to do that each day. But it was a nice place for a quiet getaway.

Quaint Quincy
I returned to Boston (after spending some of my childhood years there) with a buddy of mine who had never visited before and our stay at this quaint Quincy rental was a perfect end to our hectic three days. Very clean, great location and easy access to the MBTA (public transportation) bus/train lines. I highly recommend this rental!

Really beautiful clean apt in great location
This is the 2nd time we stayed here, which that speaks for itself. Beautiful view of the bay, nice walk to Nut Island Park, and very convenient MBTA pickup (bus to subway). The house is clean and comfortably stocked. Very attentive host. I will be back!

Great house and location
The house was exactly as described, if not better. Clean, well supplied with necessities. Great location on the bay with a great view. The bus that takes you to the train station stops within half a block from the house. We absolutely loved it. Host was very quick with responses. Great walking area and close to Nut Park, which was beautiful.

Anniversary trip to Boston
My husband and I, along with our 20 month old daughter enjoyed our anniversary weekend stay in Quincy. The home was quaint and had everything we needed for our stay. We loved being so close to the water and seeing the fireworks out over the bay on two of the nights we stayed. The intersection where the house is located was a little noisy at night but we made do with our daughters sound machine and A/C. We found the queen size bed quite comfortable. We would love to stay again in the future!

Very thankful
This was one of the best vacations our family had ,we don’t have a lot of money and save for a year for our vacations and this beautiful location gave us the feel that our hard work was worth it.This place was so beautiful, clean ,and cozy that it felt like home. The owner will always be in our thoughts because without them keeping this place beautiful and cheap we would not of been able to give the kids a vacation they deserve..They had a blast in the kayaks and being able to literally walk out the front door and see the beach and Boston. When reading some of the reviews on this and actually seeing it and living there a week I couldn’t believe how people could complain about so many stupid things .If you want a great family vacation,in a very comfortable home and don’t have the money to provide your kids with beach front this your place .The owners make sure you literally need to bring nothing and you can’t even get that from the expensive homes, the kids begged us to book again before we left so it will happen again.

Vacation stay
The house was smaller than the VRBO pictures show. It shows a picture from a Bay window which is upstairs and there is no access to as we had a small down stairs. Don’t get me wrong the place was sufficient for my wife and I and the view is very nice. just a little disappointed at first as it was much smaller than we expected. However the place grew on us and was very sufficient to our needs.

Great stay!
The property is so cozy! It definitely makes you feel as if you’re in your home away from home! Directly across from your own little beach. The kids loved searching for seaglass and shells. We went to Nantasket Beach after it was suggested by Deborah and Susan from upstairs. They were so prompt when we reached out to them, suggested local restaurants. We enjoyed our stay so much! Thank you again Deborah!

Amazing!
We loved our stay here! Everything and more was provided that we needed and the location is very convenient. The view of Boston is beautiful and my boys had a blast looking for crabs in the harbor at night. Deborah was very responsive to every question we had. We would definitely stay here again!

Fun house that wasn't fun
The best thing I can say about this property was the owner's making it easy to leave and book another property with a full refund. The floors in the house are sloped to dangerous levels and the house may no longer be structurally sound. Renter beware. The house also smelled very musty / moldy and had my allergies going the minute we stepped in. Uncomfortable beds and furniture in the whole house was like what you would see at a college dorm, the mismatched leftovers from mom's place. The bay was beautiful, but lots of strange people lurking around and a constant smell of pot smoking from people hanging out on the seawall. Couldn't wait to leave and Deborah was very agreeable to work with us so we could leave and salvage at least the second half of the trip.

Good neighborhood, some misrepresentation about lodging
Host was great, communication easy and quick. For a family of 4 enough space.
Misrepresentations: 2 bedrooms with a twin bed in the living room. All beds pretty old and fair to sleep on. The big house pic shown, you are staying in part of it with the bottom right window being your main one for a view. I book places based on view so very disappointed the view pics shown come from a top window you don’t have access too so your view not as great. The shore across the street is great but remember high/low tide, you only have access to it part of the day by evening water is all the way to the concrete sea wall.
Overall it worked but I would have stayed somewhere else for a better view since we didn’t get the “view” advertised from a higher window.
As for public transportation, phenomenal and drops/picks up right by the house. Bought Charlie Tickets and did great with MBTA apps.
