Beach Parking Permits
Cost: $12.00
Beach parking stickers can be purchased at City Hall, the Chamber of Commerce, local grocery and convenience stores, as well as various vendors and businesses in town and on the beach.

City of Port Aransas - Beach Parking Permit Information:

To park along the beaches in the City of Port Aransas, a $12.00 permit is required. This applies to the area from Marker (0) to Marker (62).

Free parking areas are available between the Jetties and Horace Caldwell Pier, as well as between Markers 52-58.

Other Things to Note:
Please pay close attention to following the HOUSE RULES: Non-compliance could result in sizable fines.
- All guests staying at a Portoro home are required to sign a rental agreement and complete identity registration.
- Age restrictions apply. Please inquire for more information.
- All guests must be included on the guest list and not exceed the maximum number stated on the listing.
- To ensure your safety, proper access to the home, and guest features, ALL guests are required to read the house manual upon arrival and notify Portoro with any questions.
- Known damages incurred during your stay must be reported to the property manager immediately.
- Before check-in, we will send you detailed directions to ensure a seamless arrival.
- Pets are not allowed at this home. If undisclosed pets are brought into the home without Portoro’s approval, there will be a cleaning charge of $500.
- We cannot guarantee early check-ins or late checkouts. When it is possible to check in early or check out late, there will be a fee for anything outside of a one-hour window within our standard times. If your need for an early check-in or late check-out is great, your best option is to book an additional night.
- The home has cameras for external monitoring only.
- HOTEL TAX COLLECTION: Both the City of Port Aransas and the State of Texas require all hotel and vacation rental hosts to collect hotel tax. We collect these two taxes within the booking transaction. The state requires 6% and the city requires 7%.
- LONG-TERM STAYS: (Snowbird, long-term rental, winter Texas, winter Texan). Contact Starkey by Portoro to discuss if a long-term stay discount applies to this listing. Stays over 29 days are waived from paying the State and Local Hotel Tax. However, there are additional fees we need to collect for damage coverage and housekeeping. In compliance with our policies for long-term stays, we need to collect an additional cleaning fee for guests staying longer than 3 weeks. Your Guest Ambassador will coordinate the cleaning schedule for a minimum of once every 2 weeks. You can request cleanings more frequently if desired. Additional cleaning charges will be sent using a payment request or resolution request, immediately following the cleaning. Your guest ambassador will reply shortly and be available to assist you where needed.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We absolutely enjoyed our stay in this unit, it was very clean and comfortable and had all the amenities we needed. We were on a girls trip, so the unit was perfect for 4 ladies. The access and location to the beach, is the best kept secret in Port A! And we witnessed the Pool and grounds being maintained, daily, which is not always the case. Much appreciated and plan to return soon!

Condo community was maintained well and other guest within the community were all respectful. Grounds staff very professional and friendly.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We would highly recommend this property for a short or long term stay. We did a long term stay and it was perfect for us. The kitchen was well stocked for both inside or outside dining. Bedrooms and bathrooms were very nice. Plenty of closet space plus wonderful large storage in laundry area. The patio was nice but perhaps could have used n updated table and chairs but it did work. Interior furniture nice but could use a more comfortable chair. Again it all worked and was very nice. The best part was the ease and access to the beach. Also, the upkeep of the common areas was very nice. Overall a great place to rent.

Property was great, but Master bedroom ceiling fan was very noisy and we called property manager about it on the 1st night that we stayed and they sent out a person to take a look at it and said that it need to be replaced. But he did tighten something up to make it better, 6 hours later the problem came back and we called on our 2nd day and manager stated it wouldn't be fixed during our stay. Besides that the internet/ wifi was crap at best and master T.V. would not work (Hardly) With the fan problem and T.V. issue Master Bedroom was for sleeping and not relaxing. Besides those 2.5 issues place was nice
