About this villa rental

15A on Hove is a stunning vacation home, just a short walk from the beaches of Camps Bay. It has a large terrace, perfect for watching the sunset over the ocean, with a cocktail.

There is free parking on site and, as well as five bedroom suites, the house has a large sitting room equipped with a flat-screen TV, DSTV and a DVD player. In addition, there is a separate dining area and fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, microwave and large oven. There is also a seasonal outdoor plunge pool.

Camps Bay is one of the most popular and beautiful resorts in South Africa. It's a great choice for travellers interested in beaches, gourmet food and wine. The beaches, restaurants and shops are only half a mile away and Cape Town airport is 12 miles from the house.

This is an ideal secure, spacious family home in a small side street of Camps Bay. The home has a beautiful feel with natural sunlight, high ceilings and lots of character.

Walking distance to the beach as well as to the trendy bars and restaurants on the promenade.

Take a walk down to the promenade and enjoy a cocktail whilst watching breathtaking views of the sunset kissing the ocean, or enjoy a meal in one of the many trendy restaurants located on the Camps Bay Strip.

Getting around:

MyCiti bus stops are located all around the Camps Bay suburb and connect to all major routes around the city. Buses are frequent and timely.

Lovely large house in a convenient location

Lovely large house in a convenient location

This lovely house is perfect for a family or group. It is spread out over multiple floors, so there is plenty of space and privacy. It is very clean and nicely decorated. It is delightful to watch the sun set over the ocean from the porch. The kitchen is well stocked. The twin bedroom is more suitable for children than adults.

This home was perfect for our family of 6 adults. The view of the sea and Lions Head from the balcony was peaceful and the perfect back drop for our relaxing evenings with cheese and wine and our mornings with coffee. Everything was comfortable, and Joey and Nick took good care of us right from the start. The location is awesome for exploring Cape Town, climbing Lions Head, with great restaurants nearby... We understand why Camps Bay beaches are world renowned! They are magnificent and an easy walk from the house. We loved this home! Thank you Michael and Xavier for sharing with us!

10 of us stayed at this property for 4 days in July. We were 7 adults and 3 children. The location is great, views from the house are stunning, the house/kitchen is very well stocked and there was plenty of room (esp plenty of bathrooms!) for everyone. Driving anywhere to Cape Town was easy and there are many shops and restaurants close by. Joey was very responsive to any questions and requests. Overall, we had a great experience but we were rained in all 4 days with gusting winds and constant downpours. We had to cancel many of our planned outdoor activities. Yay for cape town and ☹ for us. A couple of things I do want to point out : 1. The house does not have central heating. There are space heaters in every room and the comforters are very warm but we were all a bit chilly especially since we spent way more time indoors than we anticipated. When we asked for more heaters, Joey brought them the very next morning but small heaters can only do so much in a big room. Just something to keep in mind for winter travelers. 2. The driveway is short but fairly steep and narrow. After the first time and a gentle ‘thud’ going up, we made a habit of getting all the passengers out of the car before going up the slope. No problems after that.

Very well located

Very well located

We spent a great week in this house. Even if we were 10, thanks to the 5 rooms and the 2 sitting rooms, everyone could have their privacy. The location is great. At 200 meters, there is the delicious Hussar Grill restaurant and a supermarket which sells very good bread. Zimasa came to work in the house every morning. She is a great person. Thank you also to Joey and Nick who have been very efficient !

We recently stayed here with our three boys after a week in KwaZulu Natal. The home is spacious, clean and comfortable. It allowed all of us to spread out yet share the beautiful family room and portico. It was the perfect location to explore not only Cape Town but the surrounding areas. Camps Bay itself has great restaurants and beaches, and we always felt safe and comfortable in town and in this home. Joey and Nick were extremely helpful and answered every question and request we had. I highly recommend this property.

The perfect base to explore Cape Town table Mountain key point and all the surrounding beauty.

This home provides a great location from which to explore Cape Town, Table Mountain, Cape Point and all the surrounding beauty. As 2 families traveling together (with 4 teens), there was space for everyone to sleep comfortably and have some privacy... and a stunning lounge leading to an outdoor deck for when we wanted to come together! Be aware of steep/narrow driveway leading up to property. Our large 9-seater van was too large to get up the driveway or use the garage. We parked on the street and it was safe. It would be helpful to have a few small plastic containers for storing leftovers- otherwise we were well accommodated by our lovely hostess, Joey.
