This a a beautiful apartment in a beautiful location. There is oodles of room over 2 floors, big comfy beds and sofas, and a well equipped, spacious kitchen/dining area. We stayed in April and the apartment was very snuggly and warm with the option of lighting the wood burner. Traditional, tasteful decor and furniture which adds to the charm, and a view over the fields and lake. This is a spacious place where you can slip off for some privacy! Miranda and Patrick were really friendly and helpful.. we felt very at home and relaxed and will definitely be back!

Location was perfect, absolutely beautiful and the house was huge. Beds really comfortable and everything you need in the kitchen, the best room in the house!
The furniture may need a little updating especially in the living room.

Nothing. It was great.

The property is in a fabulous position. It is a up a quiet country lane and sits adjacent to a large country house with a lovely garden. It looks out over a beautiful green valley. It is spacious and well-equipped. Communications with the owner were easy and helpful.

It was so spacious, kitchen/diner worked well with a larger family. The lounge was cosy and the beds were incredibly comfy. It was such a beautiful area and we were so happy with our choice.
The bath and shower could do with a revamp but we were very happy generally with it all. We had a lovely time.

Very spacious
Clean
Wonderful quiet location
Comfortable beds
Showers and baths (needs a pump for a power shower)
Chimney smoke blowing into the lounge when the wind blows in the wrong direction (only a problem with window open)

The location was secluded yet the satnav found it. Spacious bedrooms and kitchen. Spotlessly clean. With a baby the washing machine and dryer were very handy.
Literally the only thing I can think of was that there was no wooden spoon, that I could find.

The view
Nothing it was all good.

The setting of this property was absolutely stunning. We were staying in what was the original farmhouse to the property, located around the back of the main house pictured. A massive apartment with everything provided. It was exceptionally clean and well appointed for a comfortable stay. The showers were comical - dodging between hot/cold. Difficult to regulate temperature, but there are two baths also to use, so not a problem really. It would not stop me from returning however. Due to the location it was very peaceful. Beautiful walks nearby. Although remote, good easy access to local towns/villages. Owner was very helpful and provided some excellent information about the local area and walks.
Showers - but wouldn't stop me from returning.
