Located on the border of Boca Raton and DelRay Beach. Just West of Federal Hwy (US 1). Walking distance to Walmart Supermarket and Walgreens 24 hour drugstore. Just a short 20 minute drive to West Palm Beach airport and 25 minute drive to Fort Lauderdale International airport. Miami airport is a 1 hour drive. Lots of fun attractions-Airboat rides in the Everglades, one of the best deep sea fishing areas in the world, Palm Beach Zoo, Miami Seaquarium, and more. 10 minute drive to fun Mizner Park restaurants, shopping, Amphitheater shows, and an Ipic movie theater. 5 minute drive to enjoy the beautiful sun, sand and ocean at DelRay Beach and 10 minute drive to fun Boca Beach. Very close to Trader Joe and Fresh Market. The house is beautifully furnished for your comfort - 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom home with all furniture, 4 TVs are streaming. in every room, and we offer free High Speed Internet/Wifi. 1 King bed, 1 Queen bed, and 2 twin beds, with a Loveseat/Futon, and another Full Futon in the sun/gameroom-(serves as the 4th bedroom). Also, 2 bikes at the house, pool and ping pong table in the sun/game room and a basketball hoop out front for your enjoyment. Beautiful, magical landscaping gardens with exotic Mango, Fig, and Avocado Trees to pick during season right off the tree and eat. Delicious! Very clean house in a great quiet and safe neighborhood. House is also well stocked with anything you might need. I will note some things that can be missing from other rentals which are included with this house, namely kayaks, bikes, fishing poles, and gas for the grill. Pool and hot tub are great. There are fish in the canal and a dock to hang out on. Beach is very close and convenient. We have stayed in many VRBO properties in this area and this is one of the best for our family/interests. Communication with the owners was great and not intrusive during our stay. Would highly recommend if you need a rental in this area.

Our stay was very nice as the house is set in a quiet neighborhood along the canal with a private pool in the backyard. The home was spacious and very clean; we found the beds very comfortable to sleep in. We appreciated the Netflix available for our downtime. Communication with the host was exceptional as they responded within minutes of inquiry. Very nice place to stay!

This was an excellent find. All of the amenities needed for a great vacation, beautiful pool, hot tub, central air conditioning. Super quiet location, conveniently located close to shopping, short drive to Atlantic Ave, Boca Raton, and only 5 minutes from the beach.

Property was pretty much as advertised! Beds were comfortable, unless you end up with one of the two futons but I’m personally not a fan of sleeping on those. Was perfecfly ok for the kids. The game room was fun for all of us. A/C works well in all but master bedroom but maybe that’s because it’s off the porch/gameroom which is understandably hotter than other rooms. Kitchen was well stocked with whatever was needed to cook with. Lots of cleaning materials, plenty of towels for bathing and pool/beach. I absolutely loved the arch of a flowering bush over the driveway! Jacob was polite and nice to deal with and very easy to reach!

The pool was perfect, being heated it really helped the kids get right in and enjoy swimming everyday. And being on the canal was beautiful. Very much enjoyed our stay.

Perfect place, we have 3 kids 8,5, and 2 and the pool was perfect. Couldn’t get them out of it. Location is perfect and literally 5 mins from downtown Delray. Just sitting on the bench at the dock was relaxing after sundown. Could not be happier with our stay-thank you!

Property well equipped . Pictures online outdated. The dock was not as pictured. Not the same furniture as in pictures . The pool was wonderful but the travertine tile around the pool was very uneven. The kitchen could use more pool friendly plastic cups. The beds were very comfortable. Overall I gave it a Bplus on cleanliness because I m very picky.

We recently finished a wonderful 10-day stay at this beautiful home. It's in a safe, quiet neighborhood. So much is provided here. There is a lovely pool and hot tub. Bikes, fishing poles, kayaks, pool floats, a pool table... We used it all. The beds are very comfortable. There are tons of pool/beach towels and bath towels. The bathrooms were well-stocked, as was the kitchen. The owners are so kind and very responsive. We won't hesitate to stay here again!

Great pool and hot tub. Quiet neighborhood, we used the bikes many times. My son fished and caught a couple peacock bass. Great location, we visited 3 different beaches very easily.

Great communication, seamless check in, clean and comfortable home with a gorgeous pool and jacuzzi that we thoroughly enjoyed! Very fun being on the canal and watching the barefoot skiers and jet skis. It was a short drive to downtown Atlantic Ave & Delray Beach. Kayaks and bikes and beach chairs are available too. Would definitely stay here again. Thanks for a great vacation, Jacob & Laurie!
*Rental car was important for easy access to all the fun places Delray has to offer, but Uber/Lyft definitely also available.

Spent a week at this quiet, relaxing getaway. The owners have redone the interior and added an outdoor heated pool and whirlpool spa. It was the perfect setting and location, quiet residential neighborhood and conveniently close to several food stores. The property was fully stocked, kitchen/dining utensils, towels, sheets, new appliances, cable TVs in all the bedrooms and living room, 4 bikes, lots of beach chairs and gear, even fishing tackle. The owner Jack was extremely helpful and accommodating, going out of his way to make sure that the few little issues we pointed out were fixed to our satisfaction. They even had potted orchids and fresh flowers in the house for our enjoyment. Jack and Laurie are clearly dedicated to ensuring that their guests will feel like this is their home away from home.

I expected the property to be a bit more updated based on price point, however, the home comes fully stocked with pool, beach, fishing, kayaking, and bicycling activities! You don’t need to pack any of that. The home was SPOTLESS as well. Therefore I gave it 5 stars. I’m not sure if I would take small kids here but teens and up, it’s perfect!!

The home is amazing inside and out. The pool/horrible are amazing. Fishing and kayaking in the canal without leaving the property. Quiet neighborhood, minimal traffic. Reasonable distance from any desired amenities.

Spent 27 days at Avocet house on a quiet and safe no drive through traffic street south of Linton about on Delray and Boca border. Excellent property: clean, well maintained home with split bedroom areas, several gathering areas, new living furniture, great sports including pool table, spa, swimming pool, bikes, ping pong, kayak, basketball hoop. Kitchen well stocked with oil, spices, etc so a trip to nearby markets need not be rushed. The yard on canal is private with abundant mangoes while I was there. Sit in the dock and enjoy variety of wildlife. A very good property with a garage and excellent caring owners.

The Tropic Palms was comfortable, clean and affordable. The house was not far away from the beach or shopping centers. It would definitely stay there again.

Total Relaxation
Extremely clean, nice, spacious house and secluded & beautifully manicured yard with the oasis feeling made for an awesome family getaway. Private dock was a plus; both children caught peacock bass, among other fish. Questions regarding pool were answered within minutes.
Any necessities needed were already provided. Close proximity to town & beach.

Great experience
Back yard with pool, hot tub, dock on canal, kayaks to use were are great. Shady trees, chairs, lounges, fishing from dock were all great for the teenagers. Beds comfortable, owner and property manager great to work with.

Graduation weekend
Great location, great amenities for all ages. Our family fished off the dock, enjoyed the beautiful pool and hot tub. They played pool and ping pong. Plenty of room for our group of 10 (8 adults and 2 children). The house had everything from fishing gear, bikes, laundry, tons of beach/pool towels, etc. I’d say our only disadvantage was that the 2nd bathroom is in the King room. The owner was easy to contact and very easy to communicate with through the entire process. Great experience for renting my first VRBO.

BEST vacation stay
Our family stayed at Tropic Palms for four nights and wished we booked for longer. The home was spacious and comfortable and had every amenity we could ask for and more. Our kids fished off the dock and had plenty of fishing gear available for us to use. We kayaked in the canal and swam in the pool. There was also a pool/ping pong table. The kitchen was well stocked and they even had tons of beach gear and beach towels for us to use. Our hosts were super communicative and available if we needed them. We're already talking about when we can go back!

Beautiful home with a view!
When we pulled up to the property.. I was very impressed by ALL the manicured plants outside the home. Inside was exactly how it was described in the the description...DELIGHTFUL! We enjoyed the outside space...pool and jacuzzi! It was a beautiful site every evening to watch the sun go down over the canal. Thank you very much for the outstanding hospitality!

The property was clean and had everything we needed including new beach chairs, plenty of beach towels, life jackets, and what we needed in the kitchen. The hot tub was wonderful at night!

We had a great time in this Beautiful home. The pool and hot tub were amazing. Such a lovely backyard view. It was so nice to have Kayaks to go in the water. Everything was clean and the owners were amazing and very responsive when we had questions. There is plenty of room in thr house. There is a game room. I would go back for sure. Perfect stay
We recently spent 4 nights at this fun canal front home. Jack and Laurie were great to work with before and during our stay. The house was just as presented-well outfitted with everything we needed to enjoy our stay with our daughters (27 and 31) and their boyfriends. We kayaked, fished, cooked and relaxed by the pool and in the hot spa. The property is private and clean. It was convenient to the beach and shopping. We highly recommend this property and would stay here again when in the area. Thanks Jack and Laurie for helping to make our family visit perfect!
