The house and pool are amazing. The house was clean. The pool was clean enough, the walls could use a good scrubbing. My kids were disappointed that they couldn’t actually slide down the slide and that we couldn’t get the lights and other features working. There also were spiderwebs everywhere on the pool deck/grill area.
Although when you check in there is a warning to keep doors close due to wildlife sneaking in, we were disappointed that we found mice in the house. We reported to the host, who said she’d have her pest guy take a look after our stay. I wish I had asked for it to happen sooner. It is relatively rural so mice are not unexpected, I would have like to see some kind of mitigation for them.

Loved our time there. Would go back in a heartbeat. Could have had more cooking utensils but we made due. Owner responded immediately to any and all questions or concerns. Highly recommend!

We celebrated my mother’s 80th birthday here with family and paid a lot of money for the space. We were seriously disappointed in the home altogether. It really needed a deep cleaning, and the kitchen was so ill equipped. We could barely make do. It was difficult to even find toilet paper and soap. For the amount of money this place is I wouldn’t say it’s worth it.

Celebrated my 47th Birthday at this beautiful home with some close friends. The property is stunning and we already discussed returning when the weather is warmer and we can enjoy the amenities of the backyard properly and maybe even have a hot air balloon ride. Went for a relaxing morning walk in the neighborhood. The area is just so gorgeous and peaceful. My girlfriends and I loved staying there. We opted to stay in for breakfast and dinner and found what we needed to make our meals in the house. Wineries are super close. It was just such a great weekend. Looking forward to returning! The property is in an excellent location. The backyard provides tons of space for kids to play. All of this said, I would not recommend this property to anyone.
The place is not cleaned well. Dishes had old dried food on them. Hair and dustballs in corners. Tons of dust, debris on the floors. Our feet were black within a couple of hours. I found an old shampoo wrapper in the shower from a previous guest and the bathroom tub had hair and debris in it upon check in.
The beds were not comfortable. This was the report from all 7 of us that slept in them regardless of a pull out or an actual mattress.
We attempted to heat the spa for several hours and I promise you, it did not get warm. The manager/owner showed me a report stating it did and dismissed our experience.
The most disappointing part of this property is the manager/owner. She is pleasant until you inform her of anything negative. She then gets defensive/dismissive. We informed her the place was not clean. She apologized but then stated her cleaning crew was defending themselves and asked for photos. Be prepared to taken extensive photos if you have any complaint at this property as your word or the 3 photos I had time to take while running after 2 kids will not be acceptable.
I waited 2 weeks to post this review to make sure I felt it was still necessary to share. As a short term property owner myself, the last thing I want is to give another person a negative review but this was unacceptable.

We had a great time! The house was very nice and the back yard is very spacious. We loved the tropical pool with waterfall and the volleyball / badminton court. Its also only a few minutes from the wineries.

My friends and I booked this stay for my bachelorette weekend. It was perfect for a weekend getaway. The backyard is stunning, the home is big and clean. The host was kind and responsive. I would definitely stay here again!

Overall, our stay was wonderful and we are really quite grateful for the opportunity for our extended family to reunite after 4 years due to global travel restrictions. The property's address, views and layout is ideal for this style opportunity. However, there were quite a few small issues which all added up to create frustrations which I believe could be addressed to raise the rating for future guests.
Pros:
1. Location, location, location
2. Views - the elevated position (multiple July 4 firework shows)!
3. The pool and firepit areas - amazing
4. The volleyball/soccer field
Cons
1. Pool slide - Rough ramp which damages bathing suits. Buy a tarp and cut to use as small rafts to make it work.
2. Volleyball net - advertised as volleyball, but no ball provided. We had to go buy a ball.
3. Beds - this is a big problem! Exceptionally noisy with sightest move. Bedroom fans also noisy - bought a table fan to use instead.
4. Bathroom sensors are not set well - too sensitive and not long enough when using.
5. Outside lights not working through C4 system - had to call every night to turn on.
6. Despite appliances being great quality - oven doesn't crisp.
7. Still garbage in outside bins and dirty benches when first arrived.
8. Kitchen seemed to lack basics other properties provide like serving wear and pool side plastic plates/cups.
9. Front gate - didn't work (and looked like it hadn't been closed for awhile).

Our recent holiday weekend spent at this incredible vacation rental was nothing short of a dream come true! From the moment we arrived, we were in awe of the amazing property, the mesmerizing rock formation pool with its thrilling water slide and cascading waterfall, the breathtaking views, and the impeccable cleanliness of the home.
Firstly, let me start by expressing our utmost admiration for the stunning property. The moment we laid eyes on it, we knew we were in for a truly exceptional experience. Nestled amidst a picturesque landscape, the vacation rental boasted a seamless blend of modern luxury and natural beauty. The architecture was both impressive and inviting, creating a sense of anticipation as we entered.
The real showstopper, however, was undoubtedly the rock formation pool. The water slide and waterfall elevated the entire experience to a whole new level of excitement. Our kids were overjoyed, spending hours laughing, splashing, and sliding down the water slide. Even the adults couldn't resist joining in on the fun! It was an exhilarating experience that brought out the childlike wonder in all of us.
The breathtaking views from the property were simply awe-inspiring. Whether we were enjoying a cup of coffee or unwinding in the comfortable outdoor seating area, we were treated to panoramic vistas that took our breath away. Overall I was very happy with my stay here. The house and property were beautiful and clean. We had enough rooms to fit everyone and the beds were comfy as well. The spa was perfect for a cooler evening and having the large fountain on in the pool made you feel as you were relaxing near a real waterfall in hawaii.
My only complaint with the whole property is that the motion sensor in the master bathroom likes to turn off after 8 seconds and will startle you if it's the first time haha.

We had a fabulous stay, the house was very clean. The layout was perfect for a big family or multiple families. It is gated so you feel very safe having your kids run around. The view is great and the house is fully stocked with anything you need. Our only compliant is that the water system and pool could use some good updating. The shower and pool were the two main things we were excited about… it takes at the very LEAST 5-10 mins for the water to heat up( not a big deal) but the master shower also could use some maintenance. It was very weak, barely worked and will only get Luke warm. The pool also needs some love, the spa water level was very low and the slide needs to be redone. Our kids tried to slide down it and scratched up their butts, it’s definitely not usable until fixed.

It is a beautiful property with a wonderful backyard pool, palapa, volleyball court and jacuzzi area. The owner was very responsive to our questions and our family had a fantastic stay. The property is very close to the Villa de Amore wedding site, which made it a perfect location for our daughter’s wedding. It is in the middle of the wine region, so it is a perfect spot for wine tasting visits.

This rental is 1000 times better in person. My family and I chose this property and stayed here for 5 days. We did not want to leave; the house was spotless, had everything we could need and more.
Lets not forget THE BACKYARD! If you think the picture are wonderful, wait until you see it in person.
The only negative feedback, I would mention is in the backyard near the lounging area (by the back door) could have been a bit more clean. Maybe in addition to keeping inside clean maybe pay attention to the lounge areas and outdoor bar.
Other than that 5/5. The host was super friendly and attentive both before and during our stay.

Was very eager to have a family visit here and had endless issues with the house. Ultimately couldn’t use the pool because it was broken and water level was falling. Oven and bbq didn’t work. For a luxury house it had cracked plastic toilet seats. Such a bummer!

Great house for family fun
The house was spacious and clean. The backyard was such a blast for kids/teenagers/adults. We did have to avoid the waterslide as the surface was really rough and tore a giant hole in my son's boardshorts and scratched him the first time down. But there was still plenty of fun to be had. Everything was very clean and the house had all the things you would need. The owner was great and quick at answering all my questions. I'd defintely go back!

Tropical Oasis
Our family stayed there for 4th of July weekend and we all enjoyed it very much. The backyard is a dream, where we spent most of our time. The pool was the place to be for young and old! Would love to stay there again next year!

Lovely entrance and absolutely beautiful house and pool, but that was it. We have rented several homes all over the U. S. and never experienced such a poorly prepared place. There was no water pressure; therefore, all the beautiful showers do not spray or even run water out of the many faucets. All you get are drips of water and cold water when you finally get them to drip. Hot water finally gets to faucet in about five minutes (wasting water) and then just a few drips at a time? This was the case in all of the showers. except one, in the back bedroom. By the way, bedrooms must have closets. Two of the bedrooms do not have closets? We were unable to figure out how to turn on the televisions. After Lumta came out and talked with her son, on the telephone, we were then able to turn on the TV, listen to music and turn on lights. All monitored by owner? Really strange? The house was not ready for us. Maids missed several things, like emptying the drawers of underwear in Casita and cleaning the beautiful marble floors. Dirty! There was no can opener, no wine opener, that worked, and not a well stocked kitchen. No kleenex tissue. The light switches and ceiling fans were very unfriendly to use. Never will rent this one again! Too complicated. Lumta did all she could to help us, but we got tired of calling her about so many problems. No closing instructions? Front door difficult to open and we were locked out two times. Fortunately, the back door wouldn't close tightly. Broken lock? Beth

We had plenty of rooms and space for our 14 family and friends. The pool was perfect for our 6 children to slide, jump and swim. We really appreciated the ample tables and seating areas throughout the property. There were two additional refrigerators and freezers in the garage besides the one in the kitchen, which was a plus. The children also enjoyed the office and volleyball/soccer court with soft artificial turf. The location was perfect and the hilltop views were just gorgeous.
Although the overall experience was really enjoyable, there are a good amount of things that need do need to be repaired or replaced. For example, the palapa shade over the swim up bar is completely missing so we draped sheets over it since it was where we spent the majority of our time. The Bbq attached to the swim up bar is broken, but there is an additional bbq nearby. There wasn’t any shower pressure in the casita bathroom, so my cousin used the showers inside the main house. The filtered drinking faucet at the kitchen sink was out of order and the shower in the Jack and jill bath was fairly clogged so draining was slow. There wasn’t enough silverware for 14 people and we had to go buy a can opener. Thankfully none of these things took away from our precious time together, but I hope for future visitors that all these issues can be taken care of.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this most beautiful and exquisite property. When we first entered the home I was struck by how wonderful everything was set up, how beautiful and immaculate the kitchen and living space was... and backyard was breathtaking. We thought we walked into a dream. The
property owners were attentive, and addressed all of our questions and needs, with patience and kindness. They were both a joy to work with, very accommodating and responsive. My entire family had a wonderful weekend! I cannot thank the owners enough. Cannot wait to come back to this property again!
