Miglior ostello di tutto il Borneo ;)

Ostello in posizione molto centrale, dotato di tutti i confort e i servizi. il personale è molto disponibile e anche la colazione è più che accettabile e con una vista speciale sul mare di fronte. Ottima anche la pulizia e i bagni in comune. Abbiamo davvero apprezzato tantissimo questo alloggio molto economico

Okay for a short stay, maybe longer if you're an extrovert

The room was clean even though it was small (a bit hard for us to pray). The view of the sea from the common rooms was superb. The staff was absolutely wonderful, and the free breakfast was really helpful to someone new to the city and did not know where to eat yet!

Finding the receptionist was a bit difficult because the hostel is divided in different wings and different floors of the building. Probably provide clearer directions on how to find the receptionist. Moreover, I found it disagreeable to see strangers' hair and clothes hung to dry in the shower room. Probably impose stricter rules about the use of the shower rooms.

Preiswerte Unterkunft im Zentrum von KK

Das Bett war sehr bequem und es gab eine richtige Bettdecke. Das Wasser aus dem Wasserspender war wirklich kalt und das Personal war freundlich.

Das Treppenhaus muss dringend gereinigt werden. Das erzeugt einen sehr schlechten ersten Eindruck. Das Frühstück ist sehr basic aber für den Preis kann man auch nicht mehr erwarten. Die Zimmer sind recht hellhörig und schon sehr früh morgens schien jemand stundenlang aufzuräumen.

if you go to KK you have to stay here!!

This hostel is one of the best I’ve stayed in! It’s very clean, comfortable and the location is really great. Bed is cozy and bathroom is very clean. The staff is so friendly and can give you tips on what to do. the common area is big and you can watch Netflix, play PlayStation or board games. there’s free breakfast available 24/7

You won't regret staying here

overall was really good, nothing much to complain

wifi was not really working, and ants on the bed even though they settled it immediately but I saw ants again on my last day, perhaps it was something they need to think about it.

It is very homy indeed.

I loved everything! Location is perfect. It’s easy to find. The staffs are so nice, helpful and friendly. And the room/ facilities, absolute value for money. The beds in the dorm are with partitioned and big, it was very comfortable. There’s also a seating area with a view of the sea where you can relax or work. It was perfect

Best hostel in KK

I will take the responsibility to say that this one of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed!! Feels like home,the hostel is new. Very clean rooms, cool common area and bathrooms with hot water. Clean linens,curtains for privacy and huge lockers. Free tea,coffee,water,corn flakes and bread with different kind of jams 24/7! Location? Amazing! In the city center and few minutes by walk to the port and night markets. Staff were very helpful and kind,they helped me to organize my trip to Kinabatangan. I could see some reviews about loud music from the street…I slept next to the window for 3 nights and I couldn’t hear anything,maybe some times the planes as the airport is close. Definitely my number 1 choice in Kota Kinabalu.

很棒的地方！服務也很友善，同一棟樓下就有經濟實惠的massage，問價時表示是homy 旅客有折扣！

整潔乾淨！地點非常好，鄰近酒吧與夜市，步行11分鐘可以到KK Sentral的大車站！還提供簡易的免費早餐，包括茶咖啡果醬吐司跟牛奶，對於背包客來說是一個很好的住宿點。

半夜1點多附近酒吧好像會放很大聲的音樂，那個時間應該大家都在睡覺了，但仍能感覺到低頻震動😅

Great for solo traveler

The lounge really comfort, free breakfast, and the water dispenser is also provided in the common area. Feel like at home. Suitable if you are solo traveling around Kota Kinabalu. Recommended. Located at Warisan Square level 4.

Great place to stay

The Hostel was kept really clean and safe. The staff were really nice and every time we asked for more towels, umbrellas, etc., they gave it to us.

Everything was nice. Just make sure that you are okay with people snoring or making little noises while sleeping because we are sharing a place.

A good value for money and surprisingly comfortable stay!

Great location. Great view from my room. Good spot among all the entertainment, eating places and shopping malls. Walking distance to Gaya street.

Okay budget stay - private rooms not worth it!

Staff were very friendly. Bed was comfortable and seafront view was very nice.

We had what was supposedly a private room. However, when there are gaps in the walls that separate your room and the other private rooms that adjoin which you can fit your fingers through, then all concept of soundproof and privacy is gone. The rooms border on to the communal area and have no soundproof - so when guests are loud beyond the quiet time you can hear everything, then when they go back to their own rooms, you can still hear everything due to the gaps. Also, lots of guests, particularly male, frequently use the female bathroom (maybe due to lack of clarity or due to a lack of toilets), which can make things feel unsafe.

Due notti a kota kinabalu

La camera ed i bagni in comune erano molto puliti. Posizione ottima, a pochi passi dal mercato notturno. Colazione piuttosto basica. Lo staff ci ha dato la possibilità di lasciare gli zaini più ingombranti alla reception per poter fare l'escursione sul monte kinabalu.

Le pareti tra le stanze sono molto sottili.

Overall is a nice comfortable place to stay.

Good location, clean, modern, good breakfast food available at all times (not the healthiest though!! Milo cereal and toast).

Pretty small social space! If one person is sitting on the couch it feels very full. Also both nights I was there someone slept on the couch, and watched a movie till 3am which was a bit noisy! Not very social.

It is very homey, like staying at a friends house and not a budget hotel. The common area allows us to socialise with the other travellers

The fact that there are stairs that you need to climb to use the elevator. I just got down from mt kinabalu with 2 heavy bag. Imagine seeing the stairs

The whole space is very clean, no matter the room, shared space or bathroom, there is a 24-hour breakfast, and the staff

Staff is very friendly, even I arrived at midnight, they still helped me to check in. And the environment is pretty good, you can see the amazing view when you chill on their share living room. If I back to Kota Kinabalu again, I will definitely choose this hostel!

Perfect location, super clean, fantastic facilities with the kitchen.

The facilities were so clean, the use of the kitchen and free breakfast foods all day long and tea/coffee was awesome. The shower was hot. Was ideal for the cost.

The beds were a little hard for me, but that is just a very small thing.

Great view and host, great vibe, nice place

Location was great and the host was excellent and willing to provide all information needed. Liked the breakfast area, although basic, it was clean. Superb view of bay from communal area.

Beds were not overly comfortable, the air con was frequently switched off, pressure in showers was poor and there was no coffee provided for breakfast.

Great budget place to stay

Helpful staff. Things to snack on and drink 24 hours/day. Great views. Comfortable dorm beds with electrical outlet, reading lamp, curtain, and even hooks to hang clothes and wet towels for each bed. Easy, relaxed place to meet nice travelers.

Such a popular hostel, sometimes you can't extend your stay, because it's already booked out. They were great to move me to another room, but that room didn't have windows. (But most of the dorm rooms have windows.)
