LA CASA DEL EXPLORADOR, SI EMPIEZAS A EXPLORAR TE ADENTRAS EN UNA BUENA SELVA...

No es céntrico, pero no es difícil encontrar aparcamiento, cerca a unos minutos hay un parking que está muy bien. Cercanía a una calle principal con restaurantes, centro comercial y supermercados. Para trasladarnos al centro había muchos tipos de transporte. La persona que nos entregó los códigos de acceso al apartamento, Guillermo, muy amable. Nos recibió, nos orientó y nos dió unos consejos para movernos por Lisboa.

El mal olor del apartamento, muy fuerte, desagradable, e indescriptible, que ni con todas las ventanas abiertas desaparecía. La limpieza del apartamento brillaba por su ausencia. Lo siento pero en la limpieza tengo que puntuarla con un -10. Había dos sillones amarillos en el salón que no utilizamos de manchas y suciedad que tenían, vamos que no nos sentamos. Nos cobraban un suplemento de 65 euros por la limpieza que era inexistente. Las paredes super sucias y llenas de manchas negras, miraras para donde miraras, los ventiladores de techo con polvo, pelusas y moho, el baño muy moderno pero con bastante deficiencia de limpieza, acumulación de polvo y moho; la mesa de la cocina llena de grasa, la nevera llena de migas de comida y de huellas, el microondas y el horno grasientos y la alfombra de la habitación con restos de uñas... y por dios las toallas que nos pusieron tenían manchas marrones... Cambiad de limpiadora porque allí hace tiempo que cobra sin limpiar. La limpieza una puntuación de 9 ni de coña. Todo mentira. El piso se corresponde con las fotos pero solo en la distribución.

Grata apartment. We will probably book again.

Clean and functional. Well presented and very comfortable. Beds were amazing 👌

No air con. Not a problem for us as the building was cool and ceiling fans were effective. A little far from city centre but Uber was only 5-6€ so not a problem.

Good price, nice apartment

The apartment is small than it appear in the pictures but it is a very good apartment. The neighborhood is not as charming as other Lisbon neighborhoods, but it is nice. It is close to the LX Factory, but not close enough that you can walk in the sun. I love that they have a washing machine and a ver sunny place to dry the clothes. The owner left soap for the clothes and the dishes, coffe capsules and also soda and water in the refrigerator. That was very nice.

Superb

Good locations. Well equiped.

Women (name Madalena) was very rude and angry beacuse we checked in 1 hour later than I mentioned before arrival. 2,5 hours after landing was too long for her. I said i had to wait for bag drop and change my baby but she screamed "I know you! You go out eat and drink on the way and come late!" Apartment is nice but better avoid.

Cozy and comfortable with lots of extras

Cozy house on a quiet street with a beautiful view with lots of small extras for the most comfortable stay. Very responsive team answered all our questions quickly. A big plus was a possibility to check in early as we arrived in Lisbon with an early morning flight.

The parking is conveniently located down the road but a tip to other guests would be to try not to leave the car under the trees unless you are planning to take it to the car wash first thing next morning :D

Perfect home from home, perfect for exploring Lisbon

Perfect location, the 714 bus down the road takes you straight to the praça do comercio and the Alcantara Mar and Terra stations, only a short walk away take you to Sintra and Cascais. The hosts couldn't have been more helpful and the facilities were fantastic. The beds were super comfy and my children loved the lego and games on offer.

Overall, nice place for a family and would recommend

1) Good communication. We had a few changes in our arrival time and Maria stayed on top of it making sure someone would meet us for check in. 2) It was hot when we were there but the house had a nice breeze with front and back windows open and it was cool inside the unit. 3) One of the more functional houses we stayed at during our 2-week trip in the country, with attention to details like well placed benches/shelving, towel hooks and plenty of charging ports including USB ports.

1) Maggots in the kitchen. No one knows why they were there. The unit was very clean otherwise. 2)The person assigned to do our check in had a non-working phone number and that was briefly stressful as we weren’t sure how to reach him as we were arriving earlier than expected. Fortunately Maria picked up our message through the booking.com platform/app and someone met us on time.

- exceptional furnishings (huge TVs, sound speakers and even a PlayStation 4), all modern appliances, washing machine, internet is solid - large, comfortable, queen size bed, blackout blinds - quiet location - seamless checkin, very professional and flexible - spacious, comfortable for family of 4

- stone building is a bit cold in winter, they had plenty of heaters though - the building is well soundproofed, but planes flying over al cantará maybe affect light sleepers (like me)

Extraordinary apartment!

Truly 5 star hotel experience. This is an exceptionally well equipped apartment. Kitchen has all you need to cook proper family meals. Everything is spotlessly clean. Lots of interesting books, board games, even toys for little ones. We stayed two grown ups, 4 years old and 1,5 years old and there was nothing missing. Totally smooth communication with owners and all questions answered on the spot. Probably the best bread in Lisbon is a just few steps away. Bakery is called Gleba. Copenhagen coffee lab is good for breakfast. Location is such that, if you travel with kids, you need to take a bus or a tram to see the sights. But then Lisbon is a big city and you need to take some means of transport getting to most places. Bus 773 stops literally outside the house and has a good route. Easy walk to train station Alcantara - Mar to catch train to beaches of Caxias and Carcavelos. The apartment is quite, no traffic sound, no noise from neighbours. All in all, we felt like this was the best place to stay in Lisbon.

Wonderful

We have stayed in many holiday flats but this is one of the best we have ever experienced. Having arrived on a Sunday, we were very pleased by the warm welcome of our host and of the snack pack, bottles of wine and other basic necessities such as coffee, milk and sugar that awaited us. The apartment is conveniently located just on the Lisbon side of the 25 de Abril bridge in the very interesting neighbourhood of Alcantara. Free parking in a closed lot was very handy. A number of busses take you quickly into the Old Town although we often walked, for example, to Bairro Alta. The apartment itself is spacious and recently renovated with many modern conveniences. The décor is inspired by a 19th century Portuguese explorer and is very cleverly done with pleasant touches of nostalgia. For a chill-out evening, Netflix and a huge flat screen television guarantees first-class entertainment. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!
