About this house rental
Large modern family home. Set up for large groups/families. Can sleep up to twelve. About 600m walk to the shops, parks and more. Walking tracks straight across the road to the estuary and river (about 500m). No neighbours either side and native bush over the road gives you plenty of room to move and makes it a very quiet place to stay. Native wildlife including kangaroos and huge array of birds right at the front door. With the beautiful beaches of Bremer Bay only a short drive away.
The house is fully set up to move in and enjoy your stay. The kitchen is fully equipped for easy and functional use, there is a Nespresso coffee machine (we provide a few pods to get you started but will need to bring more if staying a few days as the local store doesn't stock them). There is also a small amount of tea, sugar and milk provided.
Bedrooms
Room One: Queen bed, ensuite bathroom with a huge double shower.
Room Two: Queen bed
Room Three: Two singles or can be made into a queen.
Room Four: Two sets of bunks and two foam mattresses, that can be made up in any room.
Sit outside on the deck and enjoy the bush views while cooking tea on the BBQ. A large outside table that easily seats twelve makes meals a breeze.
Stretch out on the sofa and relax in front of the TV. DVD's, boards games and colouring in are provided to help keep everyone entertained while at home.
There is also a large study nook if work is a must.
Fully secured yard which gives piece of mind with younger children. Pets may be accepted with prior arrangements.
Rates (for up to 4 guests)
Off peak (April-Nov) $190/night
Peak (Dec-April) $240/night
High peak $260/night (24th Dec to Jan 3rd)
Extra guest $10/person/night
During the high peak season we require a 4 night stay minimum.
Things to do and see in Bremer,
We have put a few brochures and pamphlets in the house of some of the local attractions.
We would highly recommend a visit to the Wellstead museum, allow plenty of time for this as there is a lot to see, and a great café if you get hungry whilst there. They also do an awesome woodfired pizza, (which nights depend on the season best to ring).
If you are in Bremer between Jan-April an Orca whale tour is a must and won't leave you disappointed.
For the families the minigolf is a great way to fill in time when the weather isn't suitable for the beach.
And of course the amazing beaches. Blossoms is the favourite swim beach and after a visit you will soon see why. There are plenty more to choose from so make sure you put some time aside for a good look around.
The main beach (right in Bremer) is also a great spot especially when the river is coming down. Main beach is just under 3km from the house.

Beautiful, large property with easy check in and helpful property owners.

Property presented well with very spacious living areas, neat n tidy appearance on first entry into property.
Cleaning of the bathrooms needs greater attention as there was beginnings of mould built up in the shower recess as well dirt around the tap handles.
Didn’t use the oven as it wasn’t up to the cleanliness standard that we were used too. There was plenty of crockery, cutlery n utensils but unfortunately many of the dinner plates had chips on them. Also came across some plates/bowls that were dirty.
Overall, it was a good enjoyable stay in an excellent location.

While the property is a lovely house and in a beautiful location we did find that for the money we paid to stay that we were disappointed with a couple of things. Most of the dishes were chipped, the oven was filthy and the one time I turned it on the house filled up with smoke and there were only a couple of lights working in the kitchen. It hasn't stopped us from wanting to use stayz again nor stop us from doing Bremer Bay again but maybe not that house. Cheers Donna

Our group travels across from Albany every year to play in the BB Open Tournament, this house was the perfect fit for a group of 2 couples and singles. Great layout and the BBQ on the verandah was just perfect for cooking. Highly recommend

South Wind was a great place to use as our Bremer Bay base. The house was lovely with quality furniture, fittings etc through out, and very clean. Any (minor) questions we had for the owner were promptly responded to. We wish we could have stayed longer. We would highly recommend this house to anyone looking for accommodation in beautiful Bremer Bay.

We arrived just after dark after a 6.5 hour drive, to find there were no check in details provided. We looked everywhere around the property for a key or unlocked door to no avail. I checked the website and app for owner contact details but there was no phone number, only a messaging service. I sent a message but there was no response. In desparation, we went to the only other house within 100 metres to see if they could assist. Thankfully, they knew the cleaner and had her number, which they gave us. We then called her and were able to get the key access code from her. So we finally got into the house but because of the delay the restaurants in town had all closed so we missed out on dinner that night.
Having said that, the house is really clean and nice, so if you can double check before check-in day that you can get the right details, it all should turn out okay for you.

Relaxing and pleasant stay. The semi remote location is great for daily visits from the kangaroos and birds. Just down the road from the Brewery and Skatepark. Large home to accommodate families with great amenities.
Cleanliness is lacking with some areas feeling grubby. Particularly the lounge and scatter cushions.
I'd recommend providing bath sheets and cotton sheets to make it feel more luxurious. As well as upgrading TV in order to have a remote control available.
Would recommend this for those wanting a low fuss beach stay.

No one can control the weather and we certainly had windy weather in Bremer Bay, but what could be controlled was the beautiful, big house we stayed in. It sleeps up to 12 and has every modern convenience you could want. The coffee machine was great. DVDs on hand. We were only three (and the dog) so the space was great. The yard is good for a dog, too.

Unfortunately the weather was not kind to us during our stay which meant we were confined in the house. Luckily there were plenty of books, dvds and games to keep us busy.
