Staying in the flat at Messnerhof Winery was fabulous! Bernhard was the perfect host, being there when we arrived, available if we had questions, and checking in from time to time to make sure all was well. He took us on a tour of his winery and had wines available for us to enjoy, and we did! We’re looking forward to sharing some with friends when we return home. The flat was comfortable and had everything you need for a vacation in Bolzano. The area is breathtaking and Bernhard shared directions to walks/hikes in the area, best ways to get into town, and even supplied a pass that we were able to use if we visited sites in town or use on transportation. The views were stunning, like living in a postcard for the week. We’d definitely recommend staying there!

We really enjoyed our stay at Messnerhof. The host was very friendly, had lots of good advice and is making great wine.
Staying in the middle of the vineyards with a view over the city was beautiful.
The last bit of the road to the appartment is steep, but doable.
The walk to the center of town does take a while (± 30 min). Good to do with nice weather.
I would certainly recommend a stay here!

We loved staying at this unique property. Located in a vineyard it has wonderful views over the valley and surrounding vineyards. The apartment is extremely comfortable with everything you need. It is relatively new so beds, lounge and kitchen are all excellent. We enjoyed our days out and coming back to cook and relax here at night and sample the excellent wines on offer. We even had a great wine tour and tasting. It is a 25 minute walk into town and back up a hill, which we were happy to do in order to stay somewhere so special. I would highly recommend staying here.

Bernhard picked is up at the train station as we were coming in, in the evening. The accommodation was very clean. The surroundings are stunning and breathtaking. The apartment was fully equipped and had everything we needed also the basic cooking essentials.
We took a tour of his winery and loved his passion and knowledge for all that he does.
His wine was one of the very best we’ve ever had!
We will surely come back!

Schöne, sehr saubere und gut ausgestattete Wohnung mit wunderbarer Aussicht
Wohnung ist schön eingerichtet mit einem hochwertigen Badezimmer. Tipp: Mehrfachstecker mitnehmen, Steckdosen sind etwas rar. Der Vermieter ist sehr hilfsbereit und hat auf Nachfrage gute Tipps. Der Weg in die Stadt ist ein schöner Spaziergang an der Talfer entlang. Die Anfahrt war für uns Nordlichter zu Beginn etwas herausfordernd: die Zuwegung ist sehr steil und schmal- man gewöhnt sich aber daran.

Schöne Wohnung in toller Lage
Sehr schöne und neuwertig eingerichtete Wohnung, ideal gelegen um direkt in zur Wanderung zu starten oder auch über die Promenade zu Fuß in 30 Minuten die Bozner Innenstadt zu erreichen. Die beiden Terrassen bieten zu jeder Tageszeit die Möglichkeit mit tollem Ausblick zu speisen.

Schöne Aussicht - leckerer Wein - so soll Urlaub sein
Wir haben eine sehr schöne Woche auf dem Weingut verbracht und viel interessantes erfahren.
Der Vermieter ist sehr nett und hat uns viele Tipps gegeben um die Gegend kennenzulernen.
Die Ferienwohnung ist modern und sehr gut ausgestattet.
Wir hatten unsere E-Bikes dabei und konnten so Bozen und Umgebung erkunden. Es gibt herrliche Radwege, flache und steile Strecken.
Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Einen Schätzchen in den Weinbergen von Bozen
Eine topeingerichtetes und modernes Appartement, was keine Wünsche offen lässt mit Blick auf Bozen. In weniger als 20 Minuten ist man zu Fuß in der Altstadt und den berühmten Laubengassen. Restaurants sind fussläufig ebenfalls gut zu erreichen. Für Kinder ist der Club Ahoi toll (nur 10 Minuten zu Fuß). Hier gibt es Pizza und Minigolf. Ausflugsmöglichkeiten gibt es zahlreiche. Hier empfiehlt es sich Herrn Pichler anzusprechen, der tolle Geheimtipps hat und für jedermann von einfach bis anspruchsvolle Wanderrouten anbieten kann. Überhaupt ist Herr Pichler ein ganz toller Gastgeber mit einem super schönen und interessanten Weingut. Ganz toll war auch der Gasgrill in der Unterkunft, den wir ausgiebig genutzt haben. Rundherum ein ganz toller Urlaub, der mir immer in guter Erinnerung bleiben wird. Wer es ruhiger und trotzdem zwntrumsnah mag, ist hier genau richtig. Gerne wieder!

Eine Herzensempfehlung!
Der Aufenthalt in der Wohnung war von Anfang bis Ende Spitze. Der Gastgeber war sehr freundlich und zu jeder Uhrzeit anzusprechen und super freundlich.
Das Inventar und Mobiliar der Wohnung war sehr neuwertig und auf den neusten Standard ausgelegt. Auf der Wunderschönen Terasse konnten wir zudem noch in Ruhe an Silvester Grillen.
Hier würden wir gerne wieder Buchen.

Alles top!
Die Wohnung war für uns super, die Küche gut ausgestattet (sehr wichtig für uns! Das Urlaubs-Küchen-Paket mit Messern & Co. einzupacken wären hier ausnahmsweise nicht notwendig gewesen, alles da!)
Für uns war die Lage ideal, 1,5-2 km zum Zentrum, aber idyllisch ruhig am Hang. Man sollte gut zu Fuß sein, aber als Wanderer kein Problem. Wir fanden die separat geliehenen e-bikes sehr hilfreich, um „mal eben“ einkaufen oder in die Stadt zu fahren.
Sehr freundlicher Vermieter, bei dem man sehr leckere Weine aus eigener Herstellung verkosten & beziehen kann!
Wir können uns sehr gut einen weiteren Urlaub dort vorstellen, wenn es uns nach Südtirol zieht!

Toller Urlaub!!!
Wir haben einen wunderschönen Urlaub verbracht. Die Wohnung ist sehr sauber, vom Platz her völlig ausreichend, gut ausgestattet und hochwertig möbliert. Der Garten und die zwei Terrassen sind wunderschön. Je nach Temperatur und Tageszeit sind die Terassen unterschiedlich nutzbar.
Besonders positiv mit kleinem Kind war der extra hergerichtete Sandkasten für uns, die eigene Waschmaschine (kostenfrei nutzbar!) und die in Fülle zur Verfügung stehenden Handtücher.
Der Hauseigentümer ist sehr nett, locker und hat uns "unser Ding" machen lassen, was uns persönlich als vertrauensvolles Verhältnis erschien.
Einzig schade war, dass wir aus Zeitgründen (Ernte) die Weingutführung nicht mehr realisieren konnten, was aber nicht sooo schlimm ist, da wir diese ja dann bei einem weiteren Besuch evtl. noch nachholen können. :)

Moderne Ferienwohnung direkt im Weingut; gute Ausstattung und zwei Terrassen mit traumhaften Ausblick. Ausführliche, nette und immer schnelle Hilfestellung durch den Vermieter. Daneben Reisebibliotek für Südtirol.

Total schön!
Die Wohnung liegt auf der Westseite direkt am Weinberg, man hat einen tollen Ausblick auf die andere Talseite und -um die Ecke- nach Bozen. Abends kommt aus dem Sarntal von Norden ein wunderschöner, kühler Abendwind, die Süd-Terrasse ist sehr schön windgeschützt und überdacht.
Die Schlafzimmer sind mit sehr guten Betten und großen Schränken ausgestattet, mit Rolläden und Vorhängen kann man nach Bedarf verdunkeln.
Das Bad ist modern und die Waschmaschine benötigt keine Anlern-Zeit.
Das Wohn-/Esszimmer mit toller Küchenzeile ist voll mit allen erforderlichen Utensilien eingerichtet. Den Sat-TV mit -zig Programmen aus allen Ländern braucht man kaum, weil man so lange draußen sitzen kann.
Herr Pichler hat uns sein Weingut vorgestellt und das war sehr beeindruckend, die Weine haben uns sehr geschmeckt.
Zum Walther-Platz sind es hin 20 Minuten, zurück, weil bergauf, eher 25 zu Fuß. Ein Fahrrad ist empfehlenswert, nur der Anstieg am Weinberg muß ohne E-Unterstützung geschoben werden. Das Auto steht auf eigenem Stellplatz direkt vor der Wohnung.
Insgesamt ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt und ein toller Gastgeber. Vielen Dank nochmal!

Eine wunderbare Woche
Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt: Qualität der Wohnung ist top, Aussicht ist super, Freizeitmöglichkeiten in Bozen nahezu unbegrenzt. Die Weine von Herrn Pichler sind exzellent. Wir kommen wieder. Bozen ist eine sehr bemerkenswerte Stadt mit einer hohen Lebensqualität im öffentlichen Raum auch für diejenigen, die mit einem kleinen Geldbeutel auskommen müssen.

Silvester in Bozen
Wir verbrachten mit Freunden den Jahreswechsel in Bozen. Die Wohnung war für unseren einwöchigen Aufenthalt perfekt ausgestattet. Alles sehr modern, super Lage und ein sehr freundlicher hilfsbereiter Vermieter. Für Weinliebhaber stand eine Auswahl von verschiedenen Weinen des Weingutes zur Verfügung. Sehr empfehlenswert! Die Gegend in und um Bozen bietet viel Abwechslung. Besonders schön war der Ausflug zum K. u. K. -Museum Bad Egart. Leider ist das Museum im Winter geschlossen, die Gaststätte jedoch hatte geöffnet und sollte unbedingt besucht werden! Ganz in der Nähe befindet sich der Partschinser Wasserfall. Da wir außerhalb der Saison dort waren, konnten wir völlig ungestört die Gegend erkunden. Südtirol ist immer eine Reise wert!

Apartment was clean, good size, and met basic needs. In sum, we’ve stayed in apartments all over Europe with our two kids and this one was good, but not the best. The bedding is dated (pillows really need to be updated), and finding a grocery store with parking was a challenge.

Urlaub in Südtirol ist eigentlich immer eine perfekte Sache. Die kleine Wohnung ist gut eingerichtet, schönes Bad, gute Betten und reichlich Stauraum im Schrank. Die Lage im Weinberg nur 20 min. Fussweg ins Zentrum von Bozen ist herrlich !

Sehr schöne moderne Wohnung mit hochwertiger Einrichtung. Terrassen direkt im Weinberg sind ideal zum Relaxen. Die Innenstadt von Bozen ist sehr gut zu Fuß zu erreichen, trotzdem ist man „draußen“. Herr Pichler ist ein umsichtiger Gastgeber, der jederzeit einen Tip parat hat. Seinen Wein haben wir sehr genossen. Insgesamt ein Platz an dem man sich sofort wohl fühlt.

Entspannung oberhalb von Bozen
Die Lage etwas oberhalb von Bozen ist perfekt, ruhig und doch nah genug am Stadtzentrum um dieses in 20 Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen.
Die Wohnung ist in einem sehr guten Zustand und mit allem nötigen ausgestattet. Ein besonderes Highlight sind die Gartenliegen im Weinberg.
Der Vermieter, der ebenfalls im Objekt wohnt, steht jederzeit mit guten Tipps für Wanderungen und sonstige Aktivitäten rund um Bozen zur Verfügung.
Wir haben die Zeit sehr genossen.

Tolle Wohnung mit traumhafter Aussicht
Unser Aufenthalt auf dem Weingut Messnerhof hat uns wunderbar gefallen. Die Wohnung ist sehr gepflegt, ideal gelegen und es fehlt an nichts. Die Küche ist prima ausgestattet, es gibt genügend Platz und von der Terasse aus kann man insbesondere abends die traumhafte Aussicht und den Sonnenuntergang genießen. Wer mit dem Auto anreist, kann dieses geschützt im Innenhof abstellen .
Fußläufig gelangt man nach Bozen und kann dabei die schöne Promenade entlang der Talfer genießen. Besonders gut gefallen hat uns die Lage der Wohnung, die sich etwas oberhalb von Bozen inmitten von Weinbergen befindet - sie ist zentral und gleichzeitig herrlich ruhig gelegen. Auch die Kinder kommen auf ihre Kosten: mit einem Sandkasten und diversem Spielzeugangebot.
Unser sehr aufmerksamer, hilfsbereiter und freundlicher Gastgeber hat unseren Aufenthalt in Bozen abgerundet. Wir wurden herzlich empfangen, mit wunderbarem Wein und köstlicher Konfitüre verwöhnt und auch sonst konnten wir uns jederzeit an ihn wenden. Ganz herzlichen Dank für diese schöne Zeit und wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

My family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children, 8 & 9) had the most amazing stay at this apartment. As we did not drive during our trip, Mr. Bernhard even offered to pick us up from the train station on a Sunday. We eagerly accepted and were really really grateful to that. Actually, it wouldnt have been difficult to get to his place on our own. With luggage in tow, it is possible to reach by taxi that would have just cost around 8 Euros. He was really very kind.Everything in the house was impeccably designed and built. Upon arrival, Mr. Bernhard gave us the tourists cards for Bolzano which saved us a lot of money as it allowed us free public transportation in the area and also free visits to selected museums. Those cards (7 days validity) would have cost our family about 100 Euros otherwise. We put the cards to good use and went to Lake Carezza, up the Ritten cable cars to Renon (free too, with the cards), and visited museums.We enjoyed the wine produced by Mr. Bernhard too. We had a chance to try his Gewürztraminer and loved it. The jam his family produced was also tasty. Although his family no longer bakes bread where guests can order, Mr. Bernhard gladly helped us get our daily dose of the freshest and yummiest bread you can find in Bolzano.I dont think we can find another apartment of this quality in our travels. The hospitality we experienced was amazing and the memories of this wonderful place will last forever. Thank you so much Mr. Bernhard.
