Albatross is a stunning property on a narrow headland, offering breathtaking views of Beecroft Head to the south and Mt. Coolangatta and Gerroa to the north. It boasts one of the best locations on the NSW coast for whale watching from September to November, as well as year-round dolphin displays. The upper decks, situated 20 meters above sea level, provide extensive coverage of whale, dolphin, and shipping activity, with views stretching over 16 kilometres. Albatross, an award-winning beach house, is perfect for large families, with separate living areas and entertainment options for children with their own living area with TV, and games room, one with a pool-snooker table and a Texas poker card table, the other is set up for table tennis.
It is an ideal destination for a week or weekend getaway throughout the year. The property is conveniently located near Warrain Beach, which can be viewed from the house for surf conditions, and Tilbury Cove, which offers protected swimming and snorkelling opportunities. With four bedrooms, including ensuites and balconies with water views, Albatross provides ample space and comfort. The modern kitchen has a magnetic induction stove, steam oven, dishwasher, wine cabinet and top brand appliances.
If you are required to work while away, there is study area with 180-degree water view and a large blue gum desk with electrical connections for your devices.
After a day of enjoying a variety of activities the area has to offer, end the day by relaxing on the upper lounge for cocktails. Admire the vibrant sunsets and stargazing, or simply unwind with the selection of interesting books provided for guests.

Note that due to demand and housekeeping pressures, no early check-ins or late check-outs will be granted during the months of December and January. The safest way to secure an early check-in or later check-out is to book the property for an extra night. Contact us to see if we can offer a special rate for this extra night. All Sunday late check outs must be requested and approved prior to 5 pm on the Friday evening prior. All complimentary early check-ins or late check-outs must be confirmed in writing so that our housekeeping team are informed accordingly.
The guest limits apply at all times during the booking. Any extra guests (this includes day visitors) above those that have been booked and paid for must be approved in writing prior to the stay. Only the guests staying at the property are permitted to be present. If you wish to have visitors in addition to booked guests, you must advise us in writing prior to your stay and ensure you receive written permission. This is not possible at all properties.
NSW Planning has passed laws that affect guests. The Code of Conduct for holiday renting can be found on our website under the Guest Information tab. In Section 2.5.2 of the STR Code of Conduct, guests have an obligation to ensure the peace and comfort of neighbours and other occupants of the premises (if strata) near holiday rental properties. This property is approved for accommodation only. No mattresses, tents, caravans or more cars than the property accommodates are allowed. Under no circumstances are the following activities permitted at any of our properties: motorbikes, dirt bikes, quad bikes, use of firearms or air rifles, fireworks.
For safety reasons and to comply with insurance requirements, guests are prohibited from charging electric vehicles at any property that does not have a dedicated EV charging station. Charging electric vehicles without proper infrastructure poses a fire hazard, and in the unfortunate event of an incident, insurance cover may be compromised, and the guest held liable. If in doubt, ask our team for the closest EV charging station.

Spectacular Home
Stunning home , Devine Views , could do with recliner lounge suites in living rooms , and outdoor table on top deck , overall a beautiful home

Lovely location
The house is nice and sitting on good location, close to Tilbury Cove which is nice and calm water, good for swimming.
However, some teething problems likes no salt in the house, lightning in the laundry is not working, air conditioning in the upstair lounge is not working, toilet door in ensuite room downstairs is not closed at all

Lovely large house with excellent sea views
Had a great time over Easter. Plenty of room for family and friends. Our only negative was the beds were quite small and our adult children found the singles very uncomfortable.

Fantastic weekend. The Albatross House is the most amazing place to stay. Very clean, spacious, comfortable with clearly the best ocean views in Culburra. Well priced for a luxurious home. Has become our favourite - 10 stars and highly recommended.

Expensive, but ultimately worth it.
Stayed here recently, place is huge with a few different living spaces and a very short stroll to the beach. It was more expensive than we'd have liked, but that's what we get for booking late and during school holidays. I'd stay here again.

Excellent
Beautiful home, beautiful view. Watched the dolphins every day. We were thrilled to see the dolphins interacting with swimmers from the beach below. Beautiful moment. House was clean and well equipped with books and games.

Wonderful location
Gorgeous place really comfortable very relaxing,very spacious We only stayed 3 nights and really enjoyed our stay we just wish it could have been longer

Good View / Bad Neighbors
Despite being couples only with no noise or parties, we faced bad attitude and words from the old lady living in neighborhood (we heard she is the owner's relative).
If we ignore old neighbors rude behaviours, we spend good time there.
Lolaction was pretty good with good view. Facilities were good but TV was old.

We stayed for 2 nights loved it! It would have been better if the house had ducted air con but the heaters did help with the cold.

This house has every mod con you can imagine, it is spotlessly clean, is very comfortable and is my idea of a dream house. We will be staying again.

Absolute heaven
Just the two us stayed with our two dogs. Never seen much of Culburra because it was too hard to leave this gorgeous home. Wanted absolute waterfront and the views were breathtaking!!! Didn't eat out as the kitchen was a chefs kitchen. The owners have thought carefully about every need a guest could want including the excellent books and docos . Even the dogs timber homes were brand new. Never wanted to leave and the dogs wouldn't get out of the car when we got home. Loved everything.

Stay somewhere else
Place had cockroaches and the back yard back of onto a cliff without any fencing which is very dangerous if you have kids. Only thing going for it is the view but considering that the back yard backs onto a cliff the safety risks outweigh the views. Place is very overpriced for what is provided and due to that fact you're better of staying elsewhere.

Fabulous stay. Awesome hospitality.
This is the very best place we have ever stayed at.
Driving into the driveway our 5 children squealed with delight. The home is massive, immaculate and welcoming. We really felt at home with the array of books and games that the hosts have available.
We watched the dolphins playing out the front and because it was winter had almost the exclusive use of Culburra beach. With the awesome facilities and fabulous views we decided to eat all our meals at home,or picnic on the beach. The kids had a cook off which was alot of fun.
The husky ferry wasn't running as it was off season so it was a bit of a drive to explore Jervis bay but we are very glad we did.
My daughter left her ipad at the property and before we even noticed we had a phone call to arrange its return.
Thank you for an excellent holiday. We cant wait to come back.
