We're over 50... in fact we have been friends for 50 years. The condo was nice and clean, and ocean-front. Could not have found a better place to meet! Nothing between us and the ocean. The weather was perfect and we had access to incredible locations. Can't wait to go again!

I met my daughter's family here at Fernandino beach for the weekend. There was plenty of room with three nice size bedrooms. We found the condo very clean. Online check in was easy. There were a lot of stairs. Including a flight to get to the condo main level whick exits to an on grade deck in back (no grill). Then a flight to 2nd floor where 2 bedrooms were located and a final flight to the remaining bedroom on the 3rd floor. I wouldnt recommend these condos if you have someone who has trouble with stairs. Also this is a middle unit with no 2nd floor balcony, so no roof above the back deck. The ocean is accessible via a nice board walk. 2 of the bedrooms have ocean views which was really nice. Overall, it was good for a short stay.

My family had a wonderful time at Amelia Island. This townhouse worked well for us. It was very clean and furnished fairly well. A few chairs on the deck would have been nice. An extra chair in the living room would be great. The sofas and loveseat were comfortable. The only thing that needs to be noted is that there's no powder room downstairs. If you have difficulty with stairs that could be an issue. It's very close to the boardwalk to ocean and directly across from the pool. A fantastic location!!

Great vacation spot

My family had a great vacation. Kitchen is well stocked and condo was clean and well kept. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because there is no outdoor patio furniture and my family loves sitting outside. Also, the 3rd floor gets pretty warm, but not sure if there's really anything you can do about that. Overall, it was a wonderful week and we really enjoyed staying here.

Condo is steps from the beach and great location on the island. I saw on a previous review the couches were old and cobwebs. We were pleasantly surprised to see new couches and new coffee maker. Condo was clean. I would recommend bringing extra supplies-toilet paper and paper towels. They give you the initial starter. For the price and proximity to the beach it is well worth it. Also bring your own beach chairs and umbrella. We saw widelife such as rabbits/turtles in the dunes walkway to the beach.

Location was amazing...loved that. Elisha has always been a joy to work with as well. I am 100% grateful for her help. Aside from that...this place was pretty rough. A few items that need to be addressed... 1. Make sure light bulbs are working and label all switches. 2. Never found a switch for back deck light as well. 3. PLEASE BURN THE COUCHES...horrible at best. 4. You should check on what is available to cook with in the kitchen. For $1400+...a cookie sheet should be available. 5. Coffee maker is pretty shady...dirty... The experience has not run me off...but this is easily the worst I have stayed in on Amelia in 10 years.

Perfect location, poorly maintained

Perfect location, poorly maintained

This property could not be more nicely located directly on the south side of Fernandina Beach. The check in was super easy and we were able to get in earlier than expected. The property is steps from the boardwalk to the beach. As we began to get settled in it was obviously not maintained well or cleaned well. The bed linens and towels were clean. The towels were super thin, worse than any hotel towel I have ever used. There were cobwebs inside the unit in corners. The furnishings were not clean and need replaced. The kitchen supplies also were not clean. We had to clean everything before using; thankfully we were not planning to cook much. I took out a pot to boil eggs and it had red sauce baked onto the inside of it. We ran vinegar through the coffee pot since it was also not maintained. There were not any usable beach chairs, contrary what was mentioned by the property manager. This property has great potential and may be ok for a couple nights if you are not picky.

This place is not very clean. We arrived and I turned in the oven while we unpacked the car. The oven started smoking from previous food droppings. We didn't get to cook our pizza:( The walls are all very grimy and dirty, seems like they haven't been cleaned for a while. Dust bunnies with sand in between stairwell. Couches are very old. This place is also very limited in what they provide, only two towels per bathroom, only 3 trash bags. Everything very scarce. Appliances were labeled as not working by previous people and they were still there without being replaced (toaster, toaster oven). The best thing about this place is location though there are a lot of stairs!

Great location, easy access to beach, gate keys confusing due to poor labeling, not stocked as well as we had been informed-no dish detergent, dish towels and cloths for kitchen, cooking utensils need to be updated and the ones there need a very good cleaning, not very child friendly due to stairs. All in all we enjoyed our stay there.

The location of this home cannot be beat. You are literally footsteps to the most incredible beach! However the home itself is in need of some updates. The furniture is certainly old the beds are very soft and the Decor is dated. If you are traveling with a toddler -as we were -please keep in mind it is not super toddler friendly due to a ton of stairs, bathroom not on the main floor and lots of glass furniture. Management company was fairly responsive to our needs but could've been better. Again the location of this property cannot be beat!

Coastal Soul was the perfect destination for my family's annual beach vacation. The weather wasn't perfect but our accommodations met every expectation. Comfy beds, beautiful ocean views, fully stocked kitchen, and abundant space for gathering. Hope to make this location our family's primary vacation destination in the years to come.

We had a great time in this unit with our family. Easy access to the pool and boardwalk beach access. Kitchen well equipped for our cooking needs (we appreciated the coffee filters and basic seasonings too). It was nice to have access to the beach chairs on the porch, however some permanent outdoor furniture would have been helpful. I was surprised to see that cars could drive on the beach in front of the complex, but it turned out not to be bothersome. The boys enjoyed all the turtle sightings in the dunes and the super wide beach when the tide was out. Lots of stairs and no restroom on main level were the only negatives. We were having such a great time, we even decided to extend our stay a day since the unit was available. We hope to come back soon!

Great location, minor mishap with door code. Very comfortable accommodations. I would recommend for families. Quick walk to the beach. Can see the ocean from the bedrooms and lots of wildlife. We appreciated having an ice chest available.
