As one of the most premium priced holiday rentals in Jurien Bay I expected more from this property. Whilst the location and the view are second to none, the facilities and interior are lacking.
There is no air conditioning in the lower level which makes the bedrooms incredibly hot. There are an inadequate amount of pedestal fans provided and the windows in one of the rooms were locked, with no keys provided. We had to have a locksmith attend the property to open the windows.
There is no tv on ground floor or chairs around the outside table, the toilet door does not shut as mechanism is broken, no locks on toilet or bathroom doors and the upstairs toilet flush button is dodgy.
Upstairs there were many cobwebs on the balcony as well as the bathroom. One hot plate on the stove doesn’t work, the coating on the couch is flaking off, dust present on many surfaces, the shower had orange slimey soap scum in corners and the bath towels provided were old, thin and hard.
We had to clean the filters in the upstairs air conditioners upon arrival, as they weren’t cooling properly. The dust on the filters was very thick. On top of all of that, 3 days prior to us leaving, the aircon in main living room started majorly leaking inside, running down the wall and puddling on the floor. This resulted in us having to decide between turning aircon off in hot weather or putting buckets and our towels etc on the ground under the leak. We had to change the bucket and towels every couple of hours.

It is a little hard to have to pack items like toilet paper as it’s easily forgotten. And the kitchen is very simply stocked with a can opener from the dark ages. But who cares when you can eat your dinner while watching the ocean and the store is a short walk away.

Perfect location and gorgeous views. Great for kids that want to go to skate park and nice to walk along for coffee. Good sized accomodation fitted 4 adults and 3 kids comfortably. Beds comfortable
Downsides- not very clean. Definitely needs upgraded in a few areas. Kitchen needs new appliances and the sofa was very old and dated.
Outdoor furniture was fine.

Great location with awesome view and good little unit. Needs a thorough clean and some new kitchen equipment (pans/glasses etc) for cooking but great accommodations overall.

Great stay
Great location, everything you need for a great stay, friendly staff. Only a few minor things needed fixing but didn’t impact the stay at all! Would come again!

While this property is in a fantastic location and has a great layout....we were very disappointed with the lack of maintenance on every part of the property.
The oven barely worked and required instructions
The cooktop same issue...such a guessing game!
Dishwasher not only had a broken handle, was missing the plate rack!! and required instructions that were not provided.
Furniture old and very worn.
Main bed had an old spring base.
Not enough outside chairs for the tables provided.
Plates and cutlery only for 5 people!!! The property sleeps at least 8 but I had to go and buy my own plates and cutlery.
I would love to stay in this complex again but not in number 13.

lovely staycation
great location and property. Check in and out was very easy and overall was a great stay. However felt that the upstairs main wooden floor needed a good clean as the floor was a little sticky.

Great location
Great location, all basic needs covered.
Hard to sleep past 6am with sun streaming through blinds and needs a bit of general maintenance (towel rails, leaking taps, door locks)

Fair stay
The unit is very nice but things are getting a bit old. The stove is a guessing game as the writing is all gone. A dining chair was broken when we got there. Small things that were a bit irritating based on the high price of rent.

We enjoyed our weekend at Seafront 13, however there were a few things that were disappointing.Firstly I did ask for linen to be supplied and at the outrageous price of $130 I understood the beds would be at least made up, the top 2 bunks were not. The lady at Seafront did apologise however I think at $20 per bed it was unacceptable. Its not that I minded doing it, its just a lot more money than I have EVER paid for linen at any previous holiday homes. Also while the bed linen was ok some of the towels were quite tatty and old and the bath mat pretty small.I understand that as nobody had probably stayed in the apartment for a while it would not be 100% clean, but I think a dirty grill tray in the oven and cobwebs etc are something that should be looked at.Overall I think the bathroom upstairs needed a good scrub. I didnt use downstairs so cant say about that. The downstairs toilet has a serious water hammer problem that needs addressing and I would be surprised if you havent already been told about it.It would have been good customer service to refund the linen for at least those 2 beds.
