About this house rental
This beautiful holiday home right on the Wadden Sea allows you to enjoy a varied holiday. The furnishings are tasteful. In the kitchen you have a panoramic view of the outside from the dining area. The large garden has two furnished terraces. While you organise an outdoor barbecue with your family or friends, you can look out over the beautiful Wadden Sea. And your children will have lots of fun on the trampoline in the garden. The house is so well situated that mudflat walks are possible directly from the property. Towels and kitchen towels are available free of charge. Baby bathtub in the house.
The area around the holiday home has a lot to offer. Take a walk or bike ride through the hilly landscape and discover the former island of Wieringen. Den Oever is a starting point for boat trips on the Wadden Sea, where you can watch seals. To the south of Den Oever is the Robbenoordwald, where there are several walking routes. You can also visit the town of Den Helder and its beautiful sights, such as Fort Kijkduin and the Willemsoord museum harbour. In Den Helder you can take the ferry to the Wadden island of Texel. You can reach the North Sea coast in around 30 minutes by car. Some cosy seaside resorts on the North Sea are Julianadorp and Callantsoog.

Wenn man Ruhe und Natur liebt...
Sehr freundliche Gastgeber, schönes Ferienhaus, nahe am Wattenmeer. Den Oever ist ein ruhiges, kleines Dorf.

Ok für einen Urlaub ohne große Ansprüche
Lage ist ganz nett. Wunderschöne Aussicht. Man kann halt nur in Den Oever nichts machen, da ist einfach nichts los. Der vielbeworbene Hafen ist eher langweilig. Ins Watt kann man auch nicht direkt, weil es im Küstenbereich eher 50cm feinster stinkender Modder ist, den man sehr schnell wieder verlassen will. Eine Fahrt nach Den Helder bzw. Texel ist daher Pflicht, wenn man was unternehmen möchte.
Einkaufsmöglichkeiten vor Ort sind okay. Gute Pommesbude in der Nähe.
Schöner großer Garten. Großer Kirschbaum in der Mitte, der Schatten spendet. Terrasse ohne Markise, was bei heißem Wetter zur Erhitzung des Wohnzimmers führt.
Denn das Mietobjekt ist nicht für heiße Tage vorbereitet. Kaum ein Fenster im Erdgeschoss ist komplett zu öffnen, in der gesamten Küche gibt es z.B. nur ein kleines Minifenster, das man halb aufklappen kann. Der Effekt bei einigen Tagen um die dreißig Grad ist, daß man die Wärme überhaupt nicht mehr rausbekommt und es morgens in der Küche schon 30 Grad ist.
Kochen ist damit auch eher schwierig, denn man kann es in der Küche dann kaum aushalten. Was aber im Endeffekt nichts macht, da kaum Kochutensilien vorhanden sind.
Schlafzimmer im Obergeschoss vernünftig groß, aber nur in zwei von dreien sind Mückengitter, und diese sind lebenswichtig. Das Ergebnis beim Lüften ist damit, dass man locker 20 Mücken in der Bude hat, was den Sinn der zwei Zimmer mit Mückenschutz konterkariert.
Einrichtung eher normal, WLAN manchmal etwas unzuverlässig.

Sehr erholsamer Urlaub
Wir waren für eine Woche in einem wunderschönen Ferienhaus. Dem Ferienhaus fehlt es an nichts, ist sehr schön gelegen und perfekt zum abschalten und entspannen. Wir (3 Freundinnen und 2 Hunde) haben die Woche sehr genossen und werden definitiv wieder kommen !
