Ratings and reviews
10.0 / 10.0
• Went with wife and 3 kids (8, 6 & 4)
• Wanted to ski and use local pool /spa.
Ski Area
• Ski area perfect for teaching my little ones to ski. Gamsgarten area has a great set up, Magic carpet was perfect start, then progressed to short poma, to short easy chair lift to medium blue run. (Been to lots of ski areas and not found a better set up for beginners)
• Piste conditions great as is a glacier.
• Free lift passes to all under 10’s great.
• Lift system modern and really good.
• Literally never queued for a lift despite going Late feb early March.
• Ski buses were very regular to take you to slope (30 min on bus does feel a bit of a trek compared to other resorts)
• Went to Olympia for equipment. Next time would check out intersport as had option to leave equipment up the mountain.
Property location
• Just on the edge of Neustift (the side closest the glacier)
• 1-2 min walk to ski bus stop (very convenient)
• lovely riverside footpath walk to leisure centre (5-10min) directly from rear of property.
• Supermarket best done by bus (approx every 10 mins) as was prob around 15 min walk and back with shopping bags
• Went 3 times to local swimming pool / spa. Kids loved it, the slide was perfect for them to do themselves. Small outdoor section to the pool was also lovely to swim into the open mountain air. Whole pool and Spa a little dated in style but very well maintained.
Property
• Large and spacious. Ideal for our family.
• 1 large Bedroom with king size bed and great en suite shower! (My littlest slept on the small sofa in the room but would have been small for my 6 yr old)
• 1 Large open plan living/Kitchen/Diner. This has an additional large double (Austrian twin) round the corner.
• 1 additional shower room and 1 separate toilet.
• The property consisted of 4 apartments. 2 for rent and the Owners Renate and Leonard live on site as did their daughter and partner. we staged in the downstairs apartment.
• Renate could not have been more helpful and was an incredible host. She sat with me at the start and gave me loads of helpful tips to get started. Was really friendly and checked how things were going throughout stay. I never heard anyone while in the apartment and they said they didn’t hear us either (surprising with 3 noisy kids)
Overall
A great property, much more spacious than expected with awesome hosts, great ski area and easy access to local pool/spa. Exactly what we were after will defo return!

We loved our time at the Zuckerhutl Apartments. The apartment had everything we needed and Renate was lovely. We felt welcomed and taken care of the whole time we were there. The apartment is in a great location for getting the bus to and from the glacier and it is an easy walk to town! Thank you Renate!
