Loved it and a perfect size for my family of 7! Next time I think I’ll like to add a couple more days to our trip so we could have hiked more! It was clean and spacious! The cabin had everything we needed!

A bit pricey for what you get. Extra charges for fire wood and gas for a grill when paying 349 a night. Well kept up. bed in lower level made lot of creeking just to roll over. Nice to have a private area on every level when more than one couple staying. Still I would love to go again.

This was a short 2 night stay in Hocking Hills. Upon arrival to our rental, I immediately noticed a foul smell. I thought it was a dead mouse. There was a plug-in air freshener in the cabin to try to mask the foul smell. Upon further investigation, I saw mold in the main floor bathroom above the shower on the pine wood. This was mold that I could wipe away with my hand. I looked at the kitchen wall above the cupboards and noticed mold there too. I emailed Buffalo rentals on Friday evening after we got back to the cabin because the smell was still there. They denied that they received this email. I emailed again and they sent their maintenance man out to the cabin and he suspected the upstairs bathroom was leaking. After several emails and a phone call, they don’t listen to anything I have to say and deny everything! I was told that the black marks on the pine are from construction over 10 years ago and that the smell is from a dirty garbage disposal. This is not the case!
I really don’t like to complain but this 2 night rental was expensive. There should NEVER be mold with any rental but at this price, it should be spotless. I am immune compromised and really didn’t want to stay there but we had already paid. Now they are saying that they would have just moved us to one of their other (44) rentals. How would I ever know that they owned other rentals that they could have moved us to? You should never be treated the way this company has treated us.

Very clean, easy check-in, great communication, amazing location. Mattress was very comfortable memory foam. Hot tub was the right temperature with an unbeatable view of the great outdoors.
4.8
We enjoyed the beautiful cabin and the location. Everything was as advertised. More than enough room for our group of 4 adults (including a wheelchair). Because we had one person who could not manage steps, a TV on the main level was an amenity that was missed. We made due with a portable DVD Player and DVDs brought from home (we bring it on all vacations “just in case”).
4.8
Easy to get to and super quiet. Lots of great out door space. Easy drive to good hiking. The cabin is beautifully done inside with a great look and warm feel. Outdoor fire pit and rocking chairs on the large back deck made it for me. Hot tub was relaxing and big enough for four comfortably. No indoor fireplace is the only disappointment for our December stay.

Only complaint..jets were weak on hot tub

Our cabin was very clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

Clean, comfortable, good location. Would seat again for sure!

Our group enjoyed every minute of our stay at our “cabin in the woods” It was a super relaxing time and we felt like we could’ve spent our whole time at the cabin. We booked this place to go to hocking hills but we a little disappointed we didn’t budget more time to stay and hang out at the cabin! The place accommodated everyone and loved there was a bathroom on every floor!!

Came to the area from Pennsylvania for a long weekend. Our son, working in Ohio met us. My sister who lives in Kentucky met us. And our dog got to come along. We all had our own bedroom/bathroom which made our stay more comfortable. Cabin in a good location. Private. Plenty of activities, we enjoy the amazing hiking the most.

It’s a perfect getaway cabin. Very clean and well maintained. The back porch gives you the feeling that you’re nestled amongst the trees.
How the rooms are situated gave each person in our group their own private space.
It’s a lovely cabin and I will book it again in the future.

It was a wonderful experience for my boyfriend and i and are two dogs.
Tons of trails no more than 20 or so minutes away. And the logan marina was only 12 minutes away for pontoon boating. It was nice to be able to come back after a long busy day to a cozy little cabin.
I definitely reccomend to anyone wanting to come up here. Just remember if you want to use a grill either bring your own propane tank or buy through buffalo cabins.
I forgot to sonwe had to spend 60 on a new tank but we did leave it behind for other guests to use since we only used it twice

As soon as we walked in, we were impressed with how beautiful it was and it SMELLED clean! Everything was above and beyond what we had hoped for. We will definitely recommend this cabin and stay there again!

Super easy rental, clean home and property, close to Logan and many hiking trails, would 100% stay at again,
Lighting in dining room very dark, would like a tv or speaker in the main living room

This cabin was the perfect getaway for our family of 5 plus our dog! We all had the best time. Very clean and organized check in process. The property is beautiful!! If we had to make one complaint, it would be the WIFI was having trouble connecting most of the time, which was difficult in the evenings when kids wanted to wind down with a movie. We cannot wait to rebook in the near future! Thank you!
4.8
The place is as described. It would be nice if there were a second tv in the family area instead of only one in the basement. The mattresses could use some updating. The hot tub is extremely chlorinated.
The property sits in a very nice, relaxing area. It is secluded and quiet. It’s quite an enjoyable place. I will go back.

Cabin was clean & spacious but lacked with lousy towels and bedding. Wi-Fi was non existent.

A great place to chill out. Everything was as advertised, and all the stuff worked except the toaster. No need to downgrade because only one side of the bread toasted.

We had a great time at this cabin. It feels pretty off the grid but still 15 mins from Kroger and 20ish from hocking hills. We loved it. The cabin is so clean. Not even a cobweb or dust on the outdoor porches. We had our dog with us and she enjoyed exploring. Make sure you get a starter log or lighter fluid for the fire pit. We would definitely go back.
4.8
Buck Ridge was lovely, exceptionally clean.
Some downfalls - the mattresses were lumpy and old, no propane for the grill, and bath towels were not favorable (thin, frayed, worn). If you looked beyond that it was a nice place to retreat to after hiking and touring.
Highly recommend Pizza Crossing! The pizza is delicious and was a great alternative to grilling since we had no propane.
Will definitely be back to the area!!

This beautiful cabin was perfect for our family trip. The lower level in particular was the ideal setup for my cousin, his wife, and their toddler - plenty of space to set up his Pack & Play for naptime away from the rest of the noise of the cabin! The deck was great for reading in the mornings while I enjoyed my coffee and listened to the birds. Overall very comfortable furnishings and perfect amenities to make the cabin a peaceful little haven to return to after a day of exploring the beautiful trails in Hocking Hills.
Note for tall folks who go downstairs - there is a low ceiling right above the steps to come upstairs! My 6-foot brother clobbered his head pretty good because he didn't see it, so duck when you head up the steps. I'm 5'4" and don't notice these things, haha
Also, there are only about 6-7 forks and something like two dozen spoons, so if you have a large group coming, might not hurt to bring some extra forks.
4.8
Everything was perfect. We brought our 5 children, and we all enjoyed ourselves. It was a great experience. We will be back
4.8
Wonderful experience. Cabin was clean and set up with everything you need and more! Will be back for sure! Love this cabin!

We were a group of 6 adults and 2 babies - the downstairs area was perfect for our family with the two babies! Lots of room for cribs and crawling around on carpet. Kitchen and living room were open and spacious. Loft area was open and spacious as well. Everything was very clean and as described in the listing. Close to all of the hikes. We would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful house. Pictures are just like the property. Clean and spacious. Few minor hiccups. Dryer didn’t work. Hot tub is older and display is hard to see at night. It wasn’t full, didn’t get past 93 degrees and multiple jets weren’t working. I notified the property manager who offered to send someone out but no one came. I called the 800 number and I was referred to another number which is frustrating. It was disappointing after hiking all day to have no dryer and half working hot tub. Again the house was beautiful just disappointed with the hot tub and lack of communication with property manager.

We really enjoyed our stay at Buck Ridge - check in was super easy, it was nice and clean, everything in place. The hot tub worked great and it was nice to enjoy after hanging out in the colder temps. I love that we could bring our pup on the trip, too.
