Our family really enjoyed our stay and we felt so comfortable in this home. We are a family of 2 retirees, a young couple with 2 babes (3 and 1y.o.), and a college kid. We've been coming to MV for a very long time but our rental is no longer available so we were fortunate to find this home at almost the last minute. We had plenty of room to spread out. The outdoor table and indoor table fit us all so we were able to eat our meals together. I love to cook (even on vacation!), and with the tots in tow, eating out often was not in the cards. The kitchen has been recently renovated and is stocked with every kind of utensil and pot and pan you can imagine. There were plenty of dishes, cups, glasses, etc. on hand. We liked that the house was very basic, without a lot of chachkas for the kids to get into. The house was so clean upon arrival! We were very happy about this because the 1 yr old is a crawler and into everything. We were aware that the house did not have AC and that was never a deterrant for us. There are ceiling fans and oscillating fans in almost every room and we were always comfortable. We were there July 20 - 27. Communication with the owner was terrific. Very prompt, personable, and accomodating. Washer and dryer are top of the line. Easy parking for 2 cars. The house is in a very nice neighborhood, about a 20 minute walk into Vineyard Haven town. Highly recommend.

Overall we had a great stay. Unfortunately itvwas very humid and there is no AC. But otherwise house had everything we needed. Close to downtown vineyard haven. Neighborhood is quiet. If you play pickle ball, bring your gear. You can see the courts from the house. houseVercliseOwners were very goo

Our place is located in a wooded neighborhood approximately 1 walkable mile from Vineyard Haven. The property was fairly comfortable and spacious for our family. The nights were a bit warm without air conditioning, but there were plenty of fans throughout the home. Couches in living area are in need of replacement and the TV only has the most basic cable. It is not a smart TV, so you can't access any streaming services. The kitchen is well stocked and there is plenty of seating. It is in need of some maintenance (wobbly door knobs, bathroom shelving separsting from wall, etc.); however, it was a comfortable, quiet place to stay for our week on the Vineyard.

The house is just as it is described. We stayed in the bedrooms and did not utilize the basement except for use of the washing machine. We did use the kitchen - the supplies were great. We had a slight issue with keys & doors that would not lock or unlock. Maintenance had to come & fix the door jam on the living room double doors on Saturday morning. He was done in under 2hrs.
Any issues we encountered only required a call to Christine & Steve. The neighbors were very friendly and we enjoyed our stay. You do need to bring your own linens & towels or rent them from a service. Christine was very kind in sharing lots of great info about the island and the things to do & see. In all We found this trip to be just as we had hoped, very relaxing....

This was a perfect getaway for my family. Location is quiet, walking distance to VH and a beautiful home. We had great weather and spent our nights in the great family room playing cards or on the deck. Perfect way to get all my teens together and happy.
Thank you for your beautiful home!!
