The property has all the comforts of a modern warm home. The hospitality of Charles and Rosemary was outstanding. Charles is an exceptionally skilled potter and his generosity with this added to our holiday.

Owners are very involved with the checkin process, asked many personal questions leading up to the stay and were often on the property without notice during our stay. Some people like this level of attention but we found this a bit much. They also threatened to charge us extra fees which came as a shock. Otherwise they were very helpful to accomodate our little one, and this is a great house and location for a family holiday!

Property was very nice, property manager really friendly and helpfull. Vrbo app being the only issue, as second part payment wasn’t transfered as expected and no notification about this issue fra Vrbo. So we had to handle that at check-in, which could have caused us to lose the booking.

This was a lovely home located close to Nelson’s town centre and bike trails. It was great for the whole family, and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The hosts Charles and Rosemary were friendly and welcoming.

We had a lovely stay at the home. Our communication with the owners/hosts were great. They live down the street, which was nice. They greeted us at the home, gave us a tour, history of how the house was built and recommendations for things in town.
They house was immaculate and felt like it was brand new. there were three bedrooms, which was great as each of our teenagers had their own bed and Ben room. There is no air conditioner, which we knew, but when we opened the windows to get some cool air, it was pretty noisy. That would be the only negative that we have about the house. Everything else was fantastic and would highly recommend staying there.

Beautiful modernist house in a great location
This is a beautiful, stylish, modernist house. The house was perfect for our short family holiday to Nelson and conveniently located for easy access to the Nelson town centre, local MTB routes and motor routes up to Abel Tasman park. Charles and Rosemary were very gracious hosts who greeted us with the keys on our arrival.

Wonderful location and beautiful architecture.
Our family was only here for one night but the host was most gracious, the house was very clean, comfortable and well equipped. We were happy to be able to walk to town for dinner and some sight seeing. Great location, and only a 15 minute drive to the Nelson Airport.

It’s very close to shops and restaurants, as well as to some great walking tracks. Charles and Rosemary have done a wonderful job on this house and are fantastic hosts! Highly recommended.
