About this villa rental
This stunning villa is situated one kilometre from the perched medieval village of Flayosc in the department of the Var. 90kms from Nice Airport and 130kms from Marseille Airport. The village has 8+ restaurants, and also has shops and bars. With lovely gardens, a large shady dining terrace and uninterrupted views this roomy villa offers a large family or two or three families holidaying together a charming peaceful retreat yet within walking distance of a lively, typical Provençal village.
This property has all the modern facilities including recent installation of air conditioning. It has an A energy rating offering comfortable temperatures all year round. There is a large living room fully furnished with three couches and a pool table. The kitchen is modern and fully equipped. There are two bedrooms on the ground floor. The king (160 cm bed) has an en suite shower room with wc and doors leading onto the terrace with views to the pool beyond. There is also a twin room.
On the first floor are a further four bedrooms comprising of two kings (160 cm beds) and two twins. There is a shower room, a separate WC and another bathroom with bath, separate shower cubicle and WC.
There is ample storage in all six bedrooms with wardrobes and bedside cabinets with reading lights. All linens, towels and pool towels are provided at no extra charge.
The 10x5m heated salt water pool is new and is surrounded by a lovely terrace with sun loungers. Adjacent is a small cabanon equipped with games - great for the children when it is hot outside. There is also a Boules court and table tennis table to keep children entertained.
Just outside the main living area is a large shady terrace with dining table and gas-fired Weber barbecue.
Set in over 4000 m2 of land the property is in a peaceful yet not isolated position and offers great opportunities for children to explore in security. There is plenty of parking in the grounds which are gated.
The villa is suited to family groups rather than large parties of adults. In winter months it is suited to a max of 8 people due to indoor dining. Please enquire before requesting to book.

Wonderful stay. Lovely house, great pool with added heating, perfect outdoor eating area. Felt lovely and safe for the kids to run around including our two toddlers. Loads of kids cups/plates and cutlery. Close to lovely town and then drove to tourtour, Cannes and Saint Maxine. Lots of tips in the book. A

La Serra was more than we imagined it would be. It exceeded our expectations. It is a wonderful home for all ages and the layout is perfect for families. The children loved the pool and the outside eating area with barbeque was just off the kitchen for easy access. It is very secluded and private but no distance from the lovely village of Flayosc. We highly recommend this property.

We had a lovely time staying at this property in Flayosc for a family holiday in between watching matches at the rugby World Cup. The place had everything we needed and the property owner and manager were super helpful and friendly. The village is walkable, we went there most days to have a few drinks and something to eat. There are also loads of activities in the local area, we benefitted from wine tasting, quad biking and canoeing but there were plenty more. Really recommend Flayosc and this place for any family trip, thank you to Karen for letting us stay!

We had a wonderful holiday, perfect. Ideal for our holiday of three generations ranging from ages 4 to 70's. A lovely house, nice and spacious with a wonderful pool, set on a big plot so very relaxing and you can feel 'away from it all' yet still close to the lovely village of Flayosc. Excellent arrival information on the house and surrounding area from the owner and housekeeper.
We ate at the restaurants recommended in Flayosc and visited the Gorges du Verdon and other traditional villages nearby, such as Villecroze and Tourtour.
Would definitely recommend and revisit.

Really enjoyed the house and pool ideal for young children. The local village Flayosc is about a 15 min walk with some nice bars. We also enjoyed Tourtour and the Verdon Gorge.

Serra is a wonderful home away from home. Both owner & house manager are very responsive, the house is clean & well appointed. The town of Flayosc is absolutely charming and we enjoyed many of the local attractions & restaurants that were recommended to us by the home owner.

Superb holiday home with comfortable beds and a well stocked kitchen. The house is large and spacious and the pool is excellent, salt water so much nicer than chlorine. We were all ages from a 5 months old , a 2 years old through to early 20’s and 60’s and we all had a wonderful time. Flayosc is walking distance and there are some excellent restaurants, 2 bakers, a delicatessen, butcher and 2 small general shops. It’s also very pretty and has a nice market on Mondays. Judith was very helpful as was owner Karen prior to our visit. Can’t fault it!

From start to finish it was seamless. Pool table and table tennis table an added bonus. Indoor and outdoor large tables for eating. Pool was warm and not too deep for the children. Sun loungers and chairs all around for a really relaxing holiday. Flayosc is a lovely village and the closest town, Draguigan is a typically beautiful French town.

We stayed for a week with 5 young children who all had the best time. The pool is great and the layout of the house is perfect. Kitchen is recently refurbished and was great and well stocked with utensils etc. 2 fridges are very helpful. A superb stay and great location. For the young kids the walk into town was a little bit too far as up hill for part of it, but a nice short drive with parking in town which didn’t bother us at all. Excellent!

Great house with a lovely swimming pool area
We were a party of 12 adults and 1 toddler, all part of a family.
The property was ideal for our needs and was very well equipped, especially the kitchen, with plenty of room to enable everyone to have their own space if needed. The pool was a big draw and very well used. Possible to walk in to Flayosc which we did quite a lot for a drink, meal or minor shopping. An ideal base to explore this part of Provence. Thanks!

Fin vistelse i Provence
Vi var tre familjer, farföräldrar, våra 2 barn med resp familj och deras barn i åldrarna 4 till 9 år. Huset var mycket fräscht och välordnat, allt stämde med annonsen, poolen var barnens favorit och det lilla poolhuset var skönt att kunna gå in i ibland. Köket var mycket välutrustat och vi saknade inte någonting. All kommunikation med värden sköttes mycket effektivt och snabbt. Detta är definitivt ett ställe att rekommendera.

Superbe séjour dans une maison très bien équipée, au calme sans être trop loin des commerces et de sites touristiques. Nous avons profité du soleil et de la chaleur sans en souffrir grâce à la piscine et la climatisation de la maison. Tout est pensé pour un agréable séjour à tout âge. A refaire.

Tres belle villa bien située, nous l'avons loué en fin juin, visiblement les premiers de la saison. Tout est parfait , piscine à 30 Degré.
Attention tout de même à revoir l'entretien technique des équipements avant de louer la villa, nous avons eu beaucoup de systèmes en pannes (climatisation, alarme piscine, lave vaisselle, oublie des boules de pétanque..)
Mais la réactivité de la gérante est exceptionnelle donc super, merci pour ce séjour

Nous avons passé une excellente semaine de vacances en famille dans cette très belle villa, facile à vivre, meublée avec gout, un équipement très complet. la piscine bien équipée avec les jeux à disposition a fait la joie des enfants. La taille du terrain, 4000M2 assure la tranquillité et le calme aux alentours. Nous étions 3 couples et 4 enfants, très au large.
La Dracénie est une région provençale qui était mal connue pour nous. Nous avons découvert une belle région passionnante à découvrir, et il reste encore plein de choses à voir. Il faudra donc revenir...

A perfect holiday villa
We have been absolutely delighted with our two weeks stay at this property. The house is comfortable and easy, the kitchen is well equipped and perfectly located by the terrace where we had all our meals. We could see the swimming pool from the terrace which meant children can be easily supervised, The grounds are lovely and ample around the house and not overlooked by other properties. Good security with an automatic gate and house alarm. The swimming pool is one of the best we have experienced with its soft lining and lightly salted water with a small pool house where equipment and towels could be stored. . The beautiful village of Flayosc is only a 20 mn walk away which meant we didn't have to drive for shopping or going out for a drink or a meal (some very good restaurants). The manager of the property is super efficient and very helpful always at the end of the phone if we had a query. Good communication with the owner of the house. All i n all we are delighted with our stay.

Beautiful and peaceful villa
We had such a lovely week staying in this beautiful house. The house is in a great position within walking distance to Flayosc and with far reaching views. The villa was very well equipped and really family/ baby friendly with cot and highchair, washer/ dryer. We loved the new pool and the garden was really pretty with all the lavender and olive trees. Judith the property manager was really helpful and accommodating during our stay. Thank you Karen and Judith!

Fabulous family holiday at magnificent villa
This is a magnificent villa, perfect for our family holiday. The pool is new and absolutely beautiful – the kids just loved it and it was safe to enter and exit thanks to the non-slip steps. The loungers are so comfortable and ensure you catch the sun all day long.
The house itself is beautifully presented – the bedrooms are furnished to a very high standard with comfortable beds and lots of storage space. The living areas and kitchen are finished to a very high standard with excellent equipment and really nice furniture. These rooms are very spacious, comfortably accommodating a large group. There’s even a games room with pool table and lots of games to keep the kids entertained. The outdoor terrace is a fantastic space and provides shade from the sun during the day and a comfortable eating area in the evening with a great BBQ.
Outside, the villa is set in beautiful grounds with lots of garden space (including seating under shady trees), beautiful views and total privacy. The pool area is particularly beautiful and not overlooked. Whilst it is peaceful and quiet, it is only a short walk into the local village with lovely shops including a great bakery and some very nice restaurants. The villa is well located for numerous wineries and outdoor activities including kayaking, cycling etc.
This villa is magnificent and perfectly located for a family holiday with lots of activities and great food and wine nearby. The pool is fabulous and the house is fully equipped with everything you would need. We will definitely return.

An incredible stay
Had a fabulous 5 day stay at this amazing property! A spacious beautifully furnished 6 bedroom house within walking distance of Flayosc which is home to many excellent restaurants. The house is fully equipped with new high standard amenities. It has a lovely outdoor dining area in a peaceful private surrounding overlooking the new swimming pool. Having rented many properties before this is one property top of my list for a return visit.

Simply the best
We had a fantastic holiday at this villa. Lovely large well equipped house in a relaxing peaceful setting. The house is tastefully decorated and very comfortable as all the furniture is brand new with good quality beds. The kids enjoyed exploring the garden, playing boules and the pool table kept them occupied. We enjoyed sitting under the shaded canopy watching them play in the large garden.
The local village Flayosc was a pleasant surprise with several fine restaurants and weekly market and just a short walk away was a real bonus.
Highly recommended and wish we had stayed longer.
