"Jagdhaus Schönau an der Brend" from 1912, which you have all to yourself with 2500sqm garden and 400sqm of living space. Our house is family run. We can be contacted directly and reliably. You will be received and adopted personally.

In the middle of Germany, in a very quiet location, it is suitable with exclusive equipment and an infinite amount of space for your family reunion, your well-kept celebration, or simply for a quiet and romantic holiday in the hiking and cross-country paradise of Rhön. You arrive and can relax: the house is preheated in the cold season. For the children there are toy boxes (wooden train, Lego and many more) ready. You can start hiking right outside the door. In summer there is a great swimming pool with slide within walking distance. The village shop is in the immediate vicinity.

The comfort of 2 perfectly equipped kitchens, 4 elegant bathrooms with 6 shower options, 4 toilets, a new central heating and WLAN also meet the highest demands. You can relax on the terrace behind the house, beautiful wooden furniture, parasols, 4 charcoal grills and 9 deck chairs are available. For children there is a swing, sandpit, sand toys, bobby cars, bicycles and above all a lot of space in the huge orchard. It's easy here, the kids can play soccer, climb the trees and be loud at times.
Everyone can find what they need here. Quiet and seclusion to dive into. Dream the day in a deck chair under the quince tree. Or explore the area by bike on the many well-mapped bike paths. The summer and winter toboggan run on the Wasserkuppe is very entertaining for children and adults. In winter you can go skiing and extensive cross-country skiing in the immediate vicinity.
For families with children, the spacious space inside and outside and the certainty that the little ones can frolic in the completely fenced property ensure relaxation.
In the cooler days you can fire a tiled stove, a cannon stove and a Swedish stove, firewood is available. Of course there is also a new central heating system.

The landmarked house, which was extensively restored up to 2012, was combined with many antiques from the inventory and pretty new things. All beds have new high quality mattresses and slatted frames. The bedding is new, washable and suitable for allergy sufferers. There is 1 large living room with several seating areas, TV and stereo.
In the dining room there is space for up to 20 people on a beautiful table, next door in the hunting room 6-8 people can sit at a Rhön table. 20 people can also sit on the terrace and celebrate comfortably. For smaller groups, tables can be set up in the dining room so that nothing appears too large.
The 2 kitchens are extensive and of high quality: large refrigerators, large pots, casserole dishes, roast goose, numerous serving plates, sufficient white crockery, elegant cutlery and well-kept glasses - here you can cook festively and beautifully, and surrounded by a painted angel choir (ceiling painting) Bucolic fruit tendrils (mural) wonderfully.
This house is an art historical treasure chest, in which almost everything remains unchanged, as it was 100 years ago: built in 1912 in the historicist style of a Swiss house, with ventilated paintings on the facade and also over and over painted inside. A groomed grouse greets from the wall in the magnificent entrance area, the carved coat hooks and the painted grandfather clock are beautiful. The lamps, the old doors, original fittings, box windows and authentic floorboards are cozy. The house was awarded a monument prize by the Hyypo Cultural Foundation 2012.
The large garden with old fruit trees and well-tended lawn always offers something for the eye: in spring a carpet of march cups blooms, in summer the peonies glow, in autumn the apples and quinces. In winter, the snow sure

Gemütliches Jägeeehaus mit einer Jägerstube mit reichlich Platzen
Sehr grosser Garten mit einer neuen Sauna, reichlich Liegestühlen und einem grossen Gartentisch. Ideal um kiloweise Fleisch auf mehrere Grill zu werfen. Obstbäume verschiedener Art laden zum Verweilen ein.

Eins sehr gut und geschmackvoll renoviertes altes Jagdhaus, welches die Anforderungen an ein Familienwochenende super erfüllt: großer, toll gepflegter Obstgarten; große schattige Terrasse; schöne Zimmer; mehrere Aufentahltszimmer; großzügiges Esszimmer; sehr gut ausgestattete Küche.
Die Parkfläche für PKWs könnte ohne Probleme etwas vergrößert werden, da der Garten wirklich riesig ist.

Perfekt ausgestattetes Ferienhaus für die ganze Familie
Das Haus ist mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detail saniert und ausgestattet worden. Gemütliche Zimmer mit guten Betten und ausreichend Bettwäsche, Handtücher, eine Top Küchenausstattung und ein herrlicher Garten mit Terrasse, großen Tischen und vielen Spielsachen für die Kinder. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt und wir haben unseren Urlaub hier sehr genossen!! Ein Besuch im Dorfschwimmbad und Spaziergänge und Fahrradtouren sind von Schönau aus perfekt möglich.

Perfekte Unterkunft für eine gesellig Familienfeier
Die Ausstattung des Hauses ist einfach genial und lässt keine Wünsche offen. Besonders die Ausstattung der Küchen mit allem erdenklichen Geschirr, Töpfen, Pfannen und Schüsseln etc., etc. ist genial. Einzig einen Kaffeevollautomaten haben wir ein klein wenig vermisst (Kaffeemaschine ist aber vorhanden). Insgesamt eine wunderbare Unterkunft im rustikalen Stil.

Tolle Unterkunft für unser Familienfest
Wir haben mit 7 Erwachsenen, 2 Teenagern, zwei kleinen Kindern und einem Hund ein schönes langes Wochenende im Jagdhaus verbracht. Vom persönlichen Empfang bei Ankunft über ein toll ausgestattetes Haus mit viel Platz, einem riesigen Garten, schönen gemütlichen Schlafzimmern und einem tollen „Spielzeugschuppen“ war wirklich alles dabei was wir gebraucht haben. Selbst in der (Haupt-) Küche war alles da, Besteck und Geschirr ohne Ende, viel Platz in den zwei großen Kühlschränken.
Die Lage war ideal für kleine Wanderungen (Kloster Kreuzberg ist direkt vom Haus in ca. 3h auf schattigen Waldwegen erreichbar). Örtchen gibts beim Tante Emma Laden im Ort und Schnitzel bringt der Gasthof gegenüber bis an die große Tafel im Garten des Jagdhauses. Durchweg empfehlenswert für Familienfeste oder im Feiern im Freundeskreis.

Etwas ganz Besonderes!
Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit im Jagdhaus in Schönau. Auch wenn das Wetter teilweise durchwachsen war, konnten wir jeden Tag schöne Ausflüge, Radtouren oder Wanderungen machen. Es ist wirklich eine herrliche Gegend.
Das Haus war für unsere Zwecke perfekt. Wir waren 11 Tage dort und und konnten Familie und Freunde einladen, uns dort zu besuchen. Es fehlte an nichts. Die Küche ist super ausgestattet. Die Zimmer sind liebevoll eingerichtet und die Kombination aus alt und neu (meist Ikea) ist gelungen. Die Bäder sind alle neu und Wasserdruck und -temperatur nicht zu beanstanden, in alten Häusern kann das ja durchaus anders sein.
Alles war wunderbar und wird immer in schöner Erinnerung bleiben.

Viel Platz und romantisches Ambiente
Wir haben ein tolles Famielienwochenende mit Großeltern, Kindern, Enkelkindern und Freunden genossen. Das alte Jagdhaus bietet ein phantastisches Ambiente, viel Platz für alle und ist für große Familienfeiern großzügig und perfekt ausgestattet. Von Geschirr und Küchenausstattung über Gartenmöbel bis hin zum Kinderspielzeug für drinnen und draußen- es hat an nichts gefehlt!

Tolles Wochenende
Wir haben mit insgesamt drei Familien das Jagdhaus gebucht und waren sehr zufrieden. Das Platzangebot ist mehr als ausreichend, das Haus ist toll ausgestattet und der Garten hat den Kindern viel Platz zum Toben geboten. Nach einem sehr freundlichen Empfang haben wir das Wochenende sehr genossen und würden das Haus jederzeit wieder buchen.

Wir hatten das Haus für ein Wochenende für ein Freunde-Treffen gebucht und sind wirklich begeistert. Die Absprache im Voraus hat super geklappt, wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und das Anwesen ist wirklich sehr schön - sehr gepflegt, sauber, toll ausgestattet und mit ganz viel Platz für unsere große Gruppe! Ich würde es jederzeit wieder buchen!

Familientreffen iim Forsthaus
Wir haben ein wunderschönes Wochenende im Forsthaus verbracht. Im liebevoll eingerichteten Haus war einfach alles vorhanden, auch an Kinder wurde gedacht, viele Spielmöglichkeiten innen sowie draußen.Alle schliefen besser als zu Hause (super Matratzen).Vielleicht sollte man mal in einen größeren Fernseher investieren.

Sehr schönes Haus für Familientreffen
Das Haus ist für ein Treffen mit Familie, Freunden ... bestens ausgestattet, es gibt wirklich genug Platz, auch Rückzugsmöglichkeiten wenn gewünscht und wenn das Wetter schön ist, kann man im wunderbaren Garten toll grillen und relaxen.
Die Küchen sind sehr gut ausgestattet, es gibt genug Geschirr und Gläser für jede Gelegenheit, und dank der zwei Spülmaschinen ist auch alles schnell wieder sauber.
Alles ist in einem sehr sauberen und gepflegten Zustand, die Betten sind sehr gut und wurden gelobt. Der Kontakt zur Vermieterin war nett und unkompliziert und sie war auch während des Aufenthaltes für Fragen erreichbar, nochmals vielen Dank dafür.
Wir waren dieses Jahr schon zweimal im Jagdhaus Schönau, einmal mit 4 Generationen von 0 - 80 Jahren und einmal mit größeren Kindern, allen hat es sehr gut gefallen.
Zum Einkaufen fährt man mit dem Auto in ca. 10 min nach Bischofsheim, dort gibt es im Aldi und Rewe alles nötige.
Wir können das Jagdhaus Schönau wirklich weiterempfehlen, es bietet einen sehr schöner Rahmen für einen Aufenthalt mit größerer Familie oder Freunden und in der Umgebung gibt es auch sehr schöne Ausflugsziele und Wandermöglichkeiten.

Aber kleine Kleinigkeiten wie Toilettenpapier, Spültabs und Feuerholz sollten bei dem Preis inbegriffen sein.

Ein wunderbares Familientreffen!
Wir durfeten 4 sehr entspannte Tage im Jagdhaus Schönau verbringen, mit 14 Erwachsenen, 4 Kindern und einem Hund - trotz anfänglichem schlechten Wetter hatten wir eine wunderschöne Zeit, bietet das Haus doch genug Platz drinnen wie draußen. Der Garten ist herrlich und das Haus mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet - einfach zum Wohlfühlen! Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Ein Ferienhaus der Superlative.
Für uns (14 Personen ü 50) war das ein Haus ohne Tadel. Ein großer Raum für alle Gäste bittet genügend Platz für gemeinsame Mahlzeiten. Außerdem laden 2 große Wohnzimmer und die gemütliche Jagdstube zum Verweilen ein.
Das Alles wunderschön eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Die Küche modern und top ausgestattet. Geschirr im Überfluss. Hier muss niemand auf eine freie Tasse warten. Wir haben uns besonders auf den Nachmittagsespresso gefreut. Dafür gibt es gleich drei kleine Kocher. Für Grillliebhaber stehen vier Geräte zur Verfügung. Für Familien mit Kindern Spielzeug, Schaukel, Sandkasten und und und. Sehr schöne Schlafräume mit guten Betten. Duschen oder Badewannen
garantieren guten Start in den Tag. Für den Sommer ein großer Garten. Was für mich aber auch sehr wichtig ist, das ist der netter Kontakt mit dem Vermieter
(e-Mail) und die nette Betreuung vor Ort.
Nicht zu vergessen das gute Essen in der Gaststätte Zur Krone (gegenüber) und der Dorfladen mit Brötchenservice.
Wem hier zu ruhig ist, kann in wenigen Autominuten (15- 30 Km) die Rhön erkunden.
