About this cottage rental

WANAKA COTTAGE is set in private, landscaped gardens with magnificent views of the South Islands snow-capped mountains.

Our Cottage is perfect for smaller groups, and can sleep 3 - 4 people. It is a charming character cottage, and features a private SPA POOL, a Super King oak sleigh bed, and a second bedroom with either a King bed or 2 large Single beds. Beds are made up on arrival with feather duvets in winter and cotton in summer.
A gorgeous French Bathtub, a cosy open fire and lots of extra touches.
The Cottage also has SKY TV and free wireless broadband internet.

Wanaka Cottages is situated on the edge of residential parkland just far enough outside the Wanaka township to be peaceful, but close enough to be practical with a two-minute drive to town.

The Stoaker Room Cafe/Restaurant/Bar is just a 2 minute stroll away

Queenstown airport only a 60-minute drive.

The ski resorts Treble Cone and Cardrona are just half an hour by car.

Wanaka is a lovely place to visit & this cottage is a very comfortable place to stay. It’s on the edge of town, but nowhere in Wanaka is far from anywhere else. We were able to relax, spread out & enjoy our down time between all the other activities we did. Ash was an attentive, but unobtrusive host & made sure we had what we needed, & gave us excellent tips for dining etc. Would definitely stay there again

The Wanaka Cottage is a very well appointed, very comfortable property and was ideal for our winter weekend in Wanaka. The fire, spa pool and very comfortable beds were highlights. Having The Stoaker Room Bistro next door was a bonus. The manager communications were first rate, timely and accurate. Highly recommended

We felt right at home in this charming and well appointed cottage in Wanaka. Very comformfortable, stunning views, private. The guest house is well situated just a few minutes from the central town of Wanaka. It is a lovely, quiet retreat. Exterior hot tub was well enjoyed! HIghly recommend.

Delightful surprise. Was greeted by the owner and given a thorough tour. The home is extremely tasteful with many thoughtful amenities for a traveler. Very private. Kitchen well equipped - and laid out - sorry I didn't get to use it or stay longer for that matter. One of the best VRBOs out there.

We had a lovely stay at Ash and Jackies place, super clean and tidy, big outdoor space and spa were a great bonus! Ash was very friendly and helpful, and the bowl of freshly picked raspberries was amazing!! Our doggo loved it as well, lots of sunbathing spots for her in the garden - and she would love the fire in winter! Hope to be back - thank you!

My partner and I stayed 3 nights at Wanaka's cottage and couldn't be happier with our choice. Ash was extremely friendly and very helpful. The cottage itself is just beautiful. There is a spa out on the little backyard that we used every night, and the bedroom upstairs has got incredible views on the mountains. Overall it was a great experience and we couldn't recommend it enough.

We loved this little cottage. We are a family of 2 adults and 2 children, and it was perfect and just what we wanted for our stay in Wanaka. The views out to the mountains are stunning, especially from the master bedroom. The furnishings are really comfortable and the cottage had everything we needed, including the thoughtful welcome package provided by the owners. We loved the cafe right next door and were there every day for our morning coffee and croissants. There's great food options in town. It can often be a struggle to find good food when you're feeding 2 young kids, but we didn't have any issues in Wanaka. The supermarkets provided everything else we needed and the kitchen in the cottage was fully stocked with good quality pots and pans, a full pantry and a great gas stove for when we wanted to cook. The cottage is within close driving proximity to town, but far enough away to feel that you're away from it all. We definitely hope to stay again in the near future. Gorgeous property with a beautiful garden. It is quite a distance from town if you are walking, so best for those that are happy to drive into town or stay in during the evenings. Our baby loved the toys and we loved the hot tub! The muffins and bread etc on arrival was hugely appreciated too. A wonderful place to stay and we would highly recommend it.

Only concern was we paid extra to be in a quiet location. There were weddings w bands three of the five nights we were there. Host was apologizing and tried to keep them quiet after certain hours but was not what we had expected. Otherwise lovely location- especially if your going to the weddings!
