About this cottage rental

This cozy cottage is centrally located on the north shore of Oneida Lake. It is surrounded by beautiful old oak and maple trees.
Facing the lake there is a glassed and screened-in porch where you can eat, play cards,read, just enjoy the view or have a relaxing nap.
On cool nights you will enjoy curling up in front of the wood stove.
Of course the best part is sitting by the lake with a fire in the fire pit watching the moon rise.
The cottage is within 2 miles from Godfrey Point, a New York State boat launch. For your use there is a jet ski lift and a boat lift for a 17 ft. boat.. We will also provide a kayak and row boat for you to use.
The kitchen is complete with dishes, pots and pans and baking
utensils.There is a microwave oven, coffee maker , electric stove
and large refridgerator. You can also cook on the gas grill.
For times when you feel like taking a road trip you can go to Old Forge in the Adirondack Mountains. It is a little over an hour away. There you can brouse through many unique shops, take a boat trip on the Fulton Chain of Lakes or take the children to Enchanted Forest Amusement Park.
Turning Stone Casino is only a 20 minute ride away. There you will find games, entertainment and great food.
For the kids there is Sylvan Beach Amusement Park nearby with a public sandy beach and many fun rides.
Of course what is a vacation without shopping. Carousel Shopping Mall is easy to get to .It is about a 40 minute ride but well worth it.
This vacation spot is suitable for all ages, from families with young children to those who are just looking for a relaxing getaway. We hope that you would leave with lasting memories of your time spent on Oneida Lake.

We had an easy time finding this property as the off streets are in numerical order. The cabin is cozy and snug, overlooking beautiful lake Oneida. Although small in total area, the layout gives you a nice feeling of space. The screened/partially glassed-in porch is a delight. The kitchen is well equipped and we had everything we needed. Bonus points for a small welcome of chocolate. We appreciated a grocery not too far west, and a very friendly dog groomer, Dee, who kindly helped us with a small pet problem. We had a lovely time and would stay there again if we were in the area.

Beautiful location right on the lake. We had 7 in our party with 3 children and there was plenty of space. A nice quiet, clean location halfway down the northside of the lake, conveniently located near the Godfrey Point boat launch. We would definitely stay again for another visit out on Oneida Lake.

House was cozy. Loved the decorations especially the moose! Kitchen had what we needed. TV with cable and internet. Friendly neighbors. We had cool days, so we took lots of walks and did a bike ride. Parks and Erie canal bike trail were at least 30 minutes and more away. Nice and quiet.

Our week at the camp was great! The house was Exactly how it is listed. The Jetski/Boat house was great bonus! My kids had a great time fishing. kayaking, and paddle boarding on the lake. Wish we could have stayed longer and we will return!

Gail's cottage was cozy and quaint. We were a family of five our two dogs and my son's girlfriend. Our plans to vacation in Ontario could not be realized as the US/Canadian border remained closed due to Covid-19. This lake visit was an excellent alternate vacation for us. Gail's cottage was nicely decorated for the lake. All basic necessities provided, including bedding and towels which we appreciated. Unfortunately, fishing just didn't pan out for us, but our time on the water was wonderful. Weather was good. Swimming was nice, but water shoes really are a must. Walk from cottage to dock is a bit steep for anyone with walking/climbing issues. We had no trouble. I'd definitely stay again.

My wife, son, and I loved this camp. It was a great place to escape for a week and relax lakeside. There is a boat rental place less than 2 miles down the road that we took advantage of to explore the lake. The water was shallow enough and warm for the kids to swim all afternoon. We absolutely plan on renting here again!

We had a wonderful weekend in this cozy cottage nestled along the lake! When the weather was nice (which it was for the most part), we swam, fished, used the row boat and kayak. We watched the passing thunderstorms on the three seasons porch and played cards. It was sooooo relaxing! The lake was beautiful too! Just make sure to bring water shoes for your visit. Thank you Gail and Brad! We had a great time!
