About this house rental
Booking for Masters and Summer 2025 - home is 63 miles (1 hr 15 mins) from Augusta National and 29 miles (45 mins) from USC/Williams Brice. Located on a "true point" on tranquil Lake Murray with lake views from every window in the house!
This home is perfect for families with small children who are looking for evening sunsets on the gazebo, a large 'flat' back yard with swing, hammock, fire pit, dock, paddleboat, paddleboards, or relax on the porch.
We have numerous 5 star reviews and our goal is to over communicate with you before and during your stay to ensure you have everything you need.
This home has 4 bedrooms and 3 1/2 bathrooms, including a baby grand piano in the living room.
Included in this space is an 'attached' in law suite above the garage with lake views along with its own a/c, kitchen, full bathroom, hardwood floors, king size bed, and a single bed to watch the kiddos. Plenty of space for the kids to hang out!
The main home has its master suite on the second floor with trey ceilings and a walk out balcony that overlooks the property and lake, bathroom has garden tub and stand up shower, 2 vanities and 2 sinks. The master has a large walk in closet with auto lights when the door is opened.
There is a second bedroom on the second floor that has a queen size bed and small closet.
The main floor has the living room with built in bookshelves, 2 seating areas with couches and the baby grand piano, large kitchen area with bar stools and a kitchen table with 6 seats. There is a bedroom downstairs with a queen size bed and it also had a 'double size' bunk bed perfect for kids.
There are 2 bathrooms on the main floor, one full bath and one half bath.
We also have a built in bar area with granite counter and small sink.
We have an oversized garage that will hold 2 vehicles and small driveway for 2 additional vehicles.

We enjoyed our stay. Some family couldn’t come so that was disappointing. We had our elderly mom with us (93) so getting around was difficult. The house was clean on inside but definitely could use pressure washing and some upkeep especially screen porch. Soap for showers could have been provided and more paper towels. Overall, we had a nice stay and it was comfortable.

Everything was just perfect for our son’s graduation weekend from USC! Very spacious home with so many areas to relax and enjoy the lake. We rented a pontoon boat and it was very easy to dock at the property. Memories for a lifetime and we would love to come back sometime soon!
The South Carolina Gamecock decor throughout the home was an added surprise that everyone loved! Thank you Tami😘

If I could have given more than 5 stars, I would have. Perfect VRBO for getting away, relaxing and enjoying God's creation! Both Sunrises and Sunsets over the water right from your front and side porches. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. Lots of little get away spots to enjoy some quiet time, but also, a great place for gathering together and enjoying meals, games and fellowship. I hope that some day we can return. Thank you Tammy and Matt for sharing this awesome place.

The property was perfect and even better than expected! The house is spacious, beautifully decorated and in a gorgeous spot on Lake Murray. We enjoyed the porch and lawn too! I hope we can go back again for a longer stay!

Had a great experience golfing and fishing on the lake. Owners were easy to contact and allowed an early check in, as well as providing dining recommendations in the area. Hope to be able to stay again in the future.

The owners were prompt and helpful with answering my questions. The location is beautifully situated on the lake with lots of amenities. It was a smooth checkin and out process with clear instructions. Highly recommend!

Lake Murray Rental
We had a wonderful weekend at this home. It is perfectly located on a point with a large porch, gazebo, and yard right on the water. You can see the water from almost every window in the house! It was my daughters 21st b'day so she had a few friends from college stay with us and there was plenty of room.
It does need a bit of TLC as things are starting to wear and the master shower is disappointing and needs to be redone. It would be nice to have comfortable outdoor lounge furniture so you could relax out on the lawn. There seems to be a rather strict "no parties" rule. We were sitting in the gazebo playing cards at 11:00 pm, talking, laughing, etc. and the neighbors called the owners complaining of too much noise.
Overall a wonderful trip!

I can't say enough about how easy check in was. The views were amazing along with the property. The owner was more than helpful to answer any questions I had prior to our arrival and quick to contact us once we were there if we had any further questions or issues. I wanted my grandson to be able to do some fishing and he was able to catch fish pretty much every day we were there. One thing the know is the boat dock if you bring your own boat. The owner informs you in advance that the house is on a point and that the water can be rough. While at times the wind might make the water a little rough it's more from the inconsiderate boaters that fly buy the property creating the waves. I've never seen such a lack of boating etiquette. Do bring water shoes but you'll be surprised at how far you can wade out and still be in shallow water. We met 3 of the neighbors while we were there and they were just as friendly as could be. There's plenty of room for everyone and I can't say enough how much you and your family will enjoy watching the sunsets at night. I would stay there again and recommend it to anyone who's looking for a good place to enjoy time with family and friends and the views that Mother Nature provides.

Best VIew on the Lake!
Wow! What a great vacation! The views from the beautiful house were just beautiful! Sunrises and sunsets were amazing! Everyone had such a great time swimming and boating on the lake and we were all so comfortable in the house! Thank you so much Tammy and Matthew for sharing your home! We created amazing family memories that we will remember forever!

Family weekend
We shared a weekend with our 2 daughters families for a total of 10 people. We all fit comfortably. The property was easy to find with directions given. We all had a great time. The property owners shared float toys, paddle boat, and paddle boards. The dock was easily accessible for another boat to dock. We were warned of wind and boat traffic at this location but we felt safe with kids playing in the water close to the docks. It was a good weekend. Thanks.

Great retreat with recreational amenities
We thoroughly enjoyed the long weekend we had here. The owners provide many options for onsite/water activities or simply relaxing at the shoreline. It was just two of us but we would not hesitate coming back with a larger party. We would definately recommend this location to friends and family. Thank you !!
