This is a spacious home perfectly equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It is in a perfect location for sight seeing, activities, and restaurants. The owner was very kind, helpful, and went out of her way to ensure we had a wonderful stay. We are so happy to have found this beautiful home.

Beautiful property with very nice owner. If you’re looking for quiet and true Bavarian experience, look no further. We went during the hottest week of the year. No a/c, and no fans. Was really hot. Windows have no screens so bugs and bees enter at will if windows open. Not a bad problem, just noticeable given the heat and situation. Property is inaccurate: this property has ONLY TWO BEDROOMS. Son slept on couch in living room. Listing page says 3 bedrooms. House built in 1600s so has amazing character and beautiful furnishings. Doorways are about 5’6”,so anyone over 5’6 has to duck to enter most doorways. Kitchen entry is tiny. Also, property is 10 minutes to central Berchtesgaden and 30 minutes to old city parking in Salzburg. Aldi supermarket is very close and convenient, just 3-5 minutes drive. Would stay again in cooler months. Owner was very nice and communication was easy.

Fantastic property in the middle of the Bavarian countryside. Annette was a great host who helped us with anything we needed but generally left to enjoy the holiday. The beautiful is old and stunning. The scenery was very incredible with the house surrounded by the most amazing walks, mountains, pastures. 200 yards down the road there was a lovely restaurant where we could go out for nice Bavarian fare and a few beers given the remote location was welcome as otherwise it would be a car drive away. As the only driver of the group of 5 it meant I could have a beer at end of a long day. I would highly recommend the Accomodation. Bertesgaden town was 5 miles away and full of eating choices and a lovely town to visit. Salzburg was 13 miles away, cannot speak more highly of the host, the accomodation, it’s setting and the area we spent a week in. Would love to go back one day

We had a wonderful time at this house, although we stayed for too short a time. (I’d recommend staying a week!) It is a beautiful and comfortable house, which has been modernized while retaining many 17th century features. The location is stunning, though the drive to the house can be intimidating for those not used to driving in mountains. We had a wonderful time, and we thank Frau Muschler for making this house available.
