Great house in a great location. We will definitely be back.

We had a great time staying in this beautiful home. Great location for friends to get together and enjoy Vail and the surrounding areas. The house was just right.

Our party enjoyed staying at this house in West Vail. We came up for the 4th of July festivities and enjoyed how close the property was to town. While we didn't use the bus, the bus stop is a quick walk down the hill. The kitchen is amazingly well-outfitted, and the bedrooms were all very comfortable. We'd stay here again, if the opportunity arises.

We stayed for the lacrosse tournament and the location was perfect! Plenty of room and great dining area for everyone to eat together. Watching the sunset from the large balcony was spectacular!

Beautiful home, big enough so everyone in our group had a place, and small enough to feel warm and cozy. And you can't beat the location. 5 minutes from everything.
We enjoyed our stay and will try to book it again for our future travels.

Charming, comfortable, great kitchen. Great solid log cabin. Further away from bus stop than we thought it would be. Big climb up hill after skiing. That said, beautiful spot in a great neighborhood.

Loved our stay. Very cozy and great communication from owners. Skied both Vail and Beaver and access was super easy to both. Amazing livingroom/fireplace.

Easy check in, very clean house with all that is needed for the stay, including excess towels and wood for fireplace. Interior very well though out, making it a home away of home. Quiet location at end of cul-de-sac. Garage a bit narrow.

We love this property! It’s cozy and perfect for a ski vacation. The kitchen is well stocked and everything is very comfortable. Garage is a plus too! The neighbors are friendly as well!

We had a great time at this lovely cabin and were very happy with its overall condition. However, we did notice that the house could use a deep cleaning as it felt a bit dusty at times. It would also be wonderful if there were new smart TVs, especially in the living room. Apart from these suggestions, we really enjoyed the nostalgic cabin-like atmosphere and the fact that it was close to the Cascades lift.

2 of our kids came in from Pittsburgh, 2 came from the Denver area and my husband and I came from Michigan. We skied at Beaver Creek and Vail. We cooked breakfast and made our lunches for the day in the kitchen. We had a lot of fun conversation around the large table and in the awesome great room with the roaring fire. The house is absolutely beautiful, all logs, with a modern feel. The beds are comfortable, lots of linens and towels. We’ve stayed at a lot vrbos for skiing and this is my favorite yet.

This is an absolutely gorgeous home. We love to stay in log homes whenever we can because they are like works of art. This home was comfortable, beautifully decorated and maintained. The physical maintenance on log homes is huge and this one is in great condition. You are in a residential neighborhood on the far west end so there is virtually no traffic or disturbance like in the touristy areas. (We ran over to Avon for groceries.)
We saw deer daily and one day at dinner time there was a bear right behind the house along the patio! We hung out on the back patio every day and often ate out there. There was great tv (tv’s in every bedroom and the kitchen too) and Wi-Fi. Husband needs his sports.
Pro tip, best breakfast is at the Westside Cafe & Market just across I 70. I had the best breakfast I think I’ve ever had in my life. The House Smoked Salmon Bene.

Our stay was pleasant before we even got there, the instructions ahead of time were very simple and easy making the long journey from the midwest much more enjoyable when everything worked out so easily upon arrival. The entire property feels like a real home someone truly loves not an afterthought filled with generic furniture so someone can have a side hustle. It had everything someone would want in a cabin and then some. The porch, room layout, cozy amenities and general architecture had us feeling like we were in a storybook. We always felt safe and secure. The only reasons someone could say this place isn't perfect would be the small single garage space (granted our car still fit just was very tight) a couple of outlets not working (but alternatives were available elsewhere in the room) and a couple of lights were burnt out. The kitchen had everything you might need to cook for your family which seems exceedingly rare now. Plenty of extra blankets, pillows, and sheets ready to go. Vastly more space than we were expecting. Close to everything while still feeling quiet and secluded from the hustle of the village. If you are between this VRBO and one other choose this one and you won't regret it.

We enjoyed our summer stay here, plenty of room to spread out, both indoors and outdoors with 3 fantastic decks and 3 bedrooms. Full kitchen and grill with patio dining set was great. Close to Gore Creek Trail. Beds were comfy and house was well stocked with essentials.

Loved the house, great location in West Vail. Nice walking trail to Lionshead along the creek and quick drive to Beaver Creek. Great deck area to cookout and relax. Really enjoyed our stay!

I really liked this place- the house was as advertised and was very clean. It had all the necessities. I love that my dog was able to stay with me. I’d recommend this place to anyone traveling to Vail and would definitely stay here again if I ever return!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! It's perfectly located to all that there is to enjoy in the Vail Valley. Very comfortable interior with everything you would need - kitchen gadgets/cookware, linens/pillows, comfortable beds. Though it can feel a little dark inside, there are many lamps throughout & feels like a true mountain cabin! Nice deck on the front and patio on the back. The only thing I would add is a small side table on the front deck to set a drink or book. Otherwise, everything you need is provided. Great stay!

We booked a stay for our first family vacation and it was perfect! There are 2 bedrooms on the lower level so we were able to put our 1 y/o in the room across the hall. I will say the home is not “child proof” but we anticipated that. There are large gaps in the railings on both the upstairs and main level. Just something to be aware of if you’re traveling with kiddos! The kitchen had all the amenities we could need for a cooking at home. The beds were comfortable as well. You really can’t beat the views from the front porch! The location is great as well - a quick drive to Lionshead or Vail village and they even have a bus stop at the entrance of the neighborhood if you don’t feel like driving. We had a great stay and would definitely stay again!

Exactly as advertised. The Sierra Trail house was a perfect place for our work-from-home-in-Vail extended visit. Convenient to everything needed in West Vail & an easy run to Lionshead or Cascade for skiing. Looking forward to another stay here next year already!

Our second visit here. Very clean and a close drive to Vail Village and lions head. Kitchen is well stocked and bathroom towels aplenty.

We traveled to Vail to attend a wedding at Donovan Pavilion, and chose this cabin because it is so close to the venue. It was a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the mountains! Cynthia was very helpful and accommodating. Highly recommend.

Great stay!
The house was clean and the location was great for exploring the mountains and the town of Vail.

The house was simply perfect - had everything we needed, perfect location - biked to the river, the village, the park, the grocery store was a short drive away, yet we could escape the crowds (visited during the Mountain Games) and enjoy the peace of the mountains while sitting out back on the patio or on the front porch for the sunset. The beds were comfortable, the tub in the master bathroom was incredible after long days of intense activity. The house absorbed people easily - my three little brothers ended up visiting and there was plenty of room for everyone. Cozy, warm, ideal for a family gathering. Cynthia was awesome - responsive, kind, generous. I would stay again and highly recommend this rental. Thank you Ms Cynthia!

This is a cute cabin--quite small, but overall very charming.
The kitchen, dining area and living room are great. Wonderful wood burning fireplace. The bed rooms are very small.
A couple of details--low on soap, and carbon dioxide monitors need batteries. Our family had a great time.

My husband and I stayed for our wedding anniversary. We loved our stay so much. The cabin has everything you need there if you want to stay in but also so close to town. Great location for going hiking as well. We loved coming up to the fireplace at night and it felt like home. Would love to stay again one day!
