Welcome to the Holiday House Paula!
You live in a large 120sqm modern newly built cottage in a quiet location, surrounded by gardens, with views of the mountain chains, on the southern slopes of the Kaiserstuhl in the warmest region of Germany.
Just a few minutes from the train and a few meters from the Kaiserstuhl cycle path, the result is a perfect mix between relaxation and adventure because of the proximity to local attractions such as the cathedral. How to get around without a car, with the cost-cone card safely. Bicycles can be rented in town. The central location in the border triangle allows easy and fast realizing a number of attractions, such as in Markgraeflerland, in the Black Forest or the neighboring Alsace. So also the Basel Zoo in about an hour's distance.
The residential street, yard and garden offer families with children pure fun, games and thus recovery.
By dividing the bedrooms and bathrooms over three floors, the house can be used as a 2-generation house. From the living room you enter a small balcony, the beautiful view invites you to linger evening.

The house was very clean and well equipped. The hosts were very friendly and responsive. A nice and quiet neighborhood and close amenities. A nice place to stay and close enough the city and Europa Park.

This was the second time we have stayed in this property and it was every bit as good as we remembered. This time we took advantage of the guest cards, travelling into Freiburg on the train….free of charge and so easy. When we arrived there were Easter decorations, eggs and a lovely bottle of local wine. Would definitely recommend.

Perfekter Einstieg in den Kaiserstuhl
Das neue großzügige und geschmackvoll eingerichtete Haus hat alle Annehmlichkeiten, die man sich für einen gelungenen Aufenthalt wünschen kann. Es liegt im Ortsteil Wasenweiler ruhig und doch ideal zum Erkunden des Kaiserstuhls oder zur Fahrt mit der S-Bahn nach Freiburg. Ausgiebige Wanderungen durch die Weinberge, den Wald und das schöne Liliental beginnen "vor der Tür" und im Gasthaus zur Sonne kann man sehr gut essen. Herzlichen Dank an Familie Briem für den Blumengruß und den Wein!

Schönes Ferienhaus am Kaiserstuhl
Das Ferienhaus Paula ist sehr zu empfehlen. Ein sehr sauberes, modernes Haus mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Tolle ruhige Lage, Brötchen gibt es gleich um die Ecke und der Bahnhof ist auch nur ein paar Gehminuten entfernt. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Viel mehr als ein FERIEN-Haus
Offen und ehrlich gesprochen ist das Ferienhaus Paula der Familie Priem wirklich Oberklasse. Technisch auf einem absolut Top Stand. Top Fenster mit Fliegengitter, nicht an jedem Fenster, aber zum Lüften reicht es. Überall Licht und verschieden Stellen und von überall schaltbar. Deckenventilatoren sind überall in den Schlafzimmern, bzw. ein Standventilator. Auch in heißen Nächten lässt sich gut schlafen. Die Küche ist neu mit namhaften Geräten ausgestattet. Kaffee Vollautomat oder Filterkaffee, wie es beliebt. Waschmaschine und Trockner auch neu! Nichts ist schmuddelig oder vergammelt, man fühlt sich sofort wie zu Hause. In Summe ist wirklich ausreichend Platz auch mit 6 Personen, Entweder man ist am Tisch- oder im Fernsehzimmer zusammen, oder jeder genießt mal seine Ruhe für sich in seinem Zimmer. Jeder wie er mag. Auch vor der Haustüre steht ein großer Tisch für 6 Personen mit Grillmöglichkeit zur Verfügung, alles schön mit Flair vor altem Gemmäuer, da hier der alte Geräteschuppen nebenan steht, aber auch hier nichts vergammelt oder vernachlässigt. Die Umgebung ist ruhig und ländlich geprägt. Bäcker ist um die Ecke; Einkauf im Nachbarort kein Problem. Der Zug mit Anschluss nach Freiburg und ins Umland ist mit 1km entfernt locker in 15 min. erreichbar, Die Vermieter sind super Nett und Hilfsbereit!! Alles in allem ein Top- Domizil und Urlaub für Jung und Alt! Die volle Punktzahl ist echt verdient.

Rundum gelungener Urlaub
Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Ein sehr sauberes, modernes, klimatisiertes Haus, perfekt für zwei befreundete Paare. Für die Fahrräder gab es einen abschließbaren Schuppen. Radwege und Bahnhof in kurzer Distanz. Sehr nette Vermieter. Danke für die schöne Zeit, Wein, Blumen und Marmelade. Für das Wetter kann ja niemand etwas, aber auch das war wunderbar, so dass wir mehrmals täglich den Pool benutzen konnten.

Super Haus und super Gastgeber!
Wir hatten eine tolle Woche! Ein so schönes und vor allem sauberes Ferienhaus hatten wir selten! Auch die Lage war gut. Wanderungen am Kaiserstuhl konnten wir direkt vom Haus aus beginnen und die Bahn war auch nur einen kleinen Fußmarsch entfernt.

Perfekter Urlaub
Das Ferienhaus war in einem sehr modernen, sauberen und schönen Zustand, es war alles vorhanden und von den Vermietern alles super vorbereitet. Wir wurden mit einer schönen Flasche heimischen Wein und schönen Sonnenblumen empfangen und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Der Pool war in perfektem Zustand und wir haben ihn in den heißen Tagen sehr genossen.
Alles in allem war es sehr schön, familiär und unkompliziert - von der Buchung, über die Anreise, den Check-In und den Check-Out. Alles war perfekt.

Traumhafter Urlaub in der Heimat
Wir haben eine zauberhafte Woche verbracht in Haus und Garten. Wir haben gar nichts vermisst und alle waren happy: Die Kinder und die Eltern. Die Gastgeber kümmern sich liebevoll und sind sehr kinderfreundlich. Von diesem Ort lassen sich Ausflüge machen in die Natur rund um den Kaiserstuhl, die Schweiz, Frankreich und den Schwarzwald. Wunderschöne Urlaubsunterkunft!
Wir hatten fünf wunderbare Urlaubstage in diesem wirklich gemütlich und geschmackvoll eingerichteten Ferienhaus! Es fehlte uns tatsächlich an nichts. Vom Toilettenpapier über Sprudelwasser, Reinigungsmittel bis hin zum Geschirrtuch war alles vorhanden. Die Vermieter waren sehr freundlich! Wir können das Ferienhaus wirklich weiterempfehlen!

Die Wohnung liegt sehr ruhig aber verkehrsgünstig. Die Übergaben (ein und aus) waren sehr einfach. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber und praktisch eingerichtet. Die Vermieter waren sehr freundlich und aufmerksam (frische Blumen beim Einzug). Man kann die Wohnung rundum empfehlen.

Kulturreise ins Breisgau
Die Kommunikation mit Familie Briem hat schon vor dem Urlaub bestens geklappt und während des Aufenthaltes waren sie immer für uns ansprechbar. Das Ferienhaus ist Bestens ausgestattet, hier blieben keine Wünsche offen. Wir wurden mit einer Flasche Wein, Marmelade und Mineralwasser empfangen. Die Gästekarten lagen auch schon bereit für uns.
Mein E-Fahrzeug (Plugin-Hybrid) konnte ich am Ferienhaus laden.
Insgesamt ein sehr gelungener Urlaub mit einem tollen Haus und sehr netten Gastgebern. Wir werden sicher wiederkommen. Nochmals ein großes Dankeschön an Anette und Axel Briem.

High quality four storey home
This property has been furnished to a very high standard throughout and the accommodation is spread over four floors. There is plenty of space for a family of five across the three bedrooms including the loft space ideal for kids. The kitchen is large and fully equipped and there is a small first floor balcony off the lounge. The outdoor space is limited but includes a table and chairs. The only limitation is that the house faces mainly north but it has nice views over the village to compensate. There is excellent public transport which is free with the local tourist cards. The bakery in the village is open in the mornings for fresh bread and other basic supplies. Well located for EuropaPark at Rust. We enjoyed our brief stay.

Wonderful home and hosts
We have been renting many holidays homes over the past years and this house has managed to enter the top three! The lay out of the house works, it is extremely well equipped and so nice and clean. The hosts are wonderful too - checking in on a non intrusive way to see if all is ok. And on a few mornings a wee plate of raspberries was out in the terrace table - so happy boys! All in all a terrif week and we were sad to leave!

In diesem Haus ist der Urlaub ein Genuss !!
Wir waren mit 2 Ehepaaren für 10 Tage im Ferienhaus "Paula". Wir fühlten uns von der 1. Minute dort wohl. Die Raumaufteilung, die Ausstattung und die Sauberkeit waren perfekt. Da der Vermieter Axel Briem während unseres Aufenthalt selber in Urlaub war, hat er unsere Daten für die Gästekarten vorher abgefragt. Sie lagen am Anreisetag bereits im Haus. Seine Schwester war bei unserer Ankunft am Haus und wäre jederzeit bei Problemen für uns erreichbar gewesen. Von diesem Angebot mussten wir keinen Gebrauch machen. Als Willkommensgruß stand 1 Flasche einheimischer Wein und 1 Glas selbst gemacher Marmelade in der Küche. Da auch das Wetter mitspielte war es insgesamt ein toller Urlaub.
Das Haus und die Gastgeber können wir uneingeschränkt und guten Gewissens weiter empfehlen.

Very good clean modern well equipped house
The house is very modern, clean and very well equipped which was ideal for a family of 5. The rooms are light and spacious. There are 3 bathrooms/ toilets and a separate utility room. There was easy parking. The village has a good bakery and a restaurant serving traditional food. We used the railway into Frieburg as the station is within walking distance of the house. The use of public transport was free due to the guest cards. We explored the Black Forest from the house. We all slept well as the village is quiet and peaceful.

Alles prima: neues Haus, sehr sauber, komplett ausgestattet (z.B. In Küche absolut nichts vermisst), reichlich Platz zumindest für 6-köpfige Familie, gute Betten. Ruhige Lage. Guter Ausgangspunkt für Aktivitäten am Kaiserstuhl, in Freiburg, und Umgebung, Schwarzwald, Europapark, oder für einen Abstecher nach Frankreich. Empfehlung: Fahrradtouren mit eBikes!

An excellent rental experience
The rental property was accurately described on VRBO but the pictures don't really do it justice. The property is almost new, spotlessly clean and very, very well equipped. As en example, we liked the coffee machine so much we thought of buying one like it. We were shocked to find it costs US$800. All of the fixtures and facilities are of that grade. The house has both water-based and photo-voltaic solar systems that look like something from the engine room of the star ship Enterprise. Everything worked beautifully.
The rooms are spacious, light and airy with windows that can open or tilt, and which are equipped with built-in roller blinds ("Rolladen") and screens.
The house is located at the end of a short lane in a tiny village that has a bakery and a fine restaurant. Several grocery stores and other shops are in the nearby village of Ihringen.
We found this to be the perfect base for our vacation. The house is set in the most relaxing surroundings imaginable, but is an easy drive to local attractions such as Freiburg, Staufen, Colmar and (our favorite) Roufach on the French wine road.
The owners could not have been nicer or more helpful.
