Berlin was very friendly and accommodating to our needs.

l enjoyed the traditional design, the friendly local family and hospitality. I appreciate their accommodating my request for an early check in.
construction noise. barking dogs. slightly over valued, for location, or perhaps for my needs.

Berlin is a fantastic host. Arranged a car for me when there was nothing available, took me into town in his scooter, flexible with breakfast times and gave me a tour of the property. Thank you!
Not much hot water. Dogs really annoying sometimes and could be a bit scary.

The price is reasonable, and the room is clean.
There was no hot water while taking a shower at night, but the host was willing to help and the problem was solved the next morning.

Berlin, his family and puppy dogs are so lovely. It is a very special place to stay.

We immediatly felt welcomed and at home. The house is a Family temple. It is a beautiful and peaceful place. You will feel lucky to be there. We really spent a great Time here Host by the kindest Family.
The room is perfect : good bed, very clean, well designed. Many little touches like bottle of water, soap, tooth brush... Adorable.
Our Host took the time to welcome us warmly, to teach us about the culture and the house, to provide good tips that allowed us to have a wonderful evening with the locals. Clearly you Can feel they put a lot of Their Heart in this house and activity.

We stayed at this place for three nights and Berlin was our host. The stay was very hospitable and we had a great time. The breakfast was delicious and made by the family. It was also possible to rent scooters for a reasonable price.
The only downside was the barking dogs early in the morning (6am) and at night. We slept at the front of the complex, which faced the street. Due to the gaps in the front door, there was a lot of noise from the street and the dogs inside. However, after we mentioned the problem to Berlin, he put the dogs inside in the evening.

Great place and wonderful people. Building is inside family house, opposite family temple — it's really peaceful and quiet you can be alone if you want. Great terrace on the first floor with kitchen and fridge, bedroom upstaris
Location is good also if you ride a bike

It is a nice little seperate standing guest house within the property of the owner. All houses have this "temple" look and everything feels nice. The room itself has everything you'd expect for a guest house. Big bed, sanitaries, air conditioning, and a balcony (where your could practice yoga on, if you`re into that). The owner is super friendly, kind and supportive. You can easily rent a scooter from him (which is in line with the local renting prices).
You'd be at least a little bit off the busy area; to the hip canggu part it is a ~15min ride. Nevertheless, in this area there is more calmness with all the surrounding rice fields etc.
The included breakfast is ok (it is made from the mother of the owner), however it can't compare with the breakfasts and brunches you can get in Bali; but, of course, this is a high bar to compare to. And unfortunately the coffee coming with the breakfast is really bad :-) But this could be easily fixed I guess.

It's a quiet area and the actual guest house was set in the family compound, which is the most exquisite setting imaginable. So very tranquil. Berlin and his mum are the most gracious hosts. I would love to return one day.
There were some cats carrying on at night which might upset some light sleepers if it occurs.

the host was just amazing! very helpful and kind
the location is quiet far from everything, so do not expect cool cafes or yoga classes

The personal attention was great, making you feel at home, their home.
Living in a real Belinenese house, including the temple has been a great experience !
Nothing, I would suggest to put a sign outside the house.

The host is one of the kindest people and was helpful in so many different situations. Besides from that it is an outstanding place in general! we will definitely come back!

I loved everything about this accommodation. Berlin's hospitality was what stood out the most. From waiting around for me till 11pm for check in, to keeping my suitcase after the check out, and letting me use the facilities after checking out, recommendations for food and activities, helping me get a SIM card, and picking me up when it was dark...More than just a host, I feel like I had a guide. The place itself was clean, spacious, tranquil, and I particularly liked the temple style.
It was slightly far from everything, although they had scooters for rent The dogs occasionally barked at night.

It's a proper traditional Balinese household with proper Balinese architecture and hospitality. The location is very quiet and remote but the place offers scooter rental at a very reasonable price and the owner a very helpful in sorting out with any issues.

This beautiful family-owned compound / temple is a very short ride from great surf spots, an incredible sunset lookout point and some great places to eat. Thanks to Berlin and his family

Family of Berlin is extremely hospitable. He took us by car to tanah lot and kedungu beach, explained us a lot about hindu lifestyle, rituals. We were gifted ny many small but valuable favors. The room was cosy and comfortable.
