About this house rental
The home is located at mile marker 88.9 bayside in Islamorada. It's one of eight houses located on a mile long private driveway off US 1. It features a lush tropical hardwood hammock in the front of house with hundreds of orchids and rare tropical plants. A private white sandy beach with unobstructed open bay sunset views is the entire backyard. The Master Bedroom has a King size Canopy bed and bay view. The Master bath has a large jacuzzi tub for two overlooking the hammock and a large digital temperature controlled shower. Private throne room with newest Toto bidet/commode combo . Master has tropical ceiling fans and separate AC zone. Large TV with sound bar and subwoofer. Office Desk with multiple HDMI monitors and hp printer online. Guest room #2 has a queen size bed and private bath with hammock view and attached full bathroom. Large TV, AMP, sound bar and cable/amazon/Netflix all set up. Both are located on the 2nd floor. The other 3 Guest rooms are located on the 1st floor and all have queen size beds, hanging clothes closets, dressers, TV's/AMPS, HDMI hookups and blow-dryers. Two have pool/beach/bay views and one has a tropical hardwood hammock view. All are very cozy, peaceful and quiet. Also on the first floor there is a grand piano in the informal living room with a pull out sofa and coffee service bar. Tropical beach house décor throughout and first floor has imported shell and reef natural tile floor. The kitchen, dining and great room are on the 2nd floor and feature dark hardwood floors, tropical beach decorations and large palm leaf ceiling fans. The dining room has a large Stanley Coastal table seating 10-12 with a perfect view of the bay. There are pocket sliding glass doors on opposite sides of the house that open up completely to let the tropical breezes flow through the house. The living room is equipped with 5.1 high end audio with a 75" TV. The kitchen sink looks out an over-sized window to the bay and is stocked with beautiful dishes, touch on faucet, coffee maker with filters, toaster oven, small appliances and all things necessary to make any celebration easy and special. There is a center island with seating for four. Newest Samsung steam oven/microwave combo, and all other appliances are new and the stove top is inductive for ultra-fast and controlled cooking. The laundry room is on the 2nd floor with ultra-capacity washer and dryer. Outside: We are one of five bayside homes that has its own sandy beach in all of Islamorada. We have a private dock and a private boat ramp. Wade out into the crystal-clear bay waters and lounge on the 8 sturdy turquoise Adirondack chairs beachside and two on the dock. We have a private golf putting green/driving range, bocci ball sell, full size volley ball/badminton court, dodgeballs, frisbees, ping pong table and official darts! Brand new heated/chilled pool next to an outdoor gazebo with built in kitchen, wine and beer cooler, ice maker, full dining table and L shaped couch in front of real gas fireplace. High end audio and TV with all sources ready. Surprise speaker in the pool! Outdoor full bathroom with tropical hardwood countertop and one of a kind octopus sink and octopus tentacle handles on teak door. Customize the gazebo lighting with remote control. Propane and solar tiki torches flicker over the pool and beach for a romantic and tropical look. All the beach and pool toys your family needs are included. There is a large gas grill and big green egg for cooking and outdoor dining table for bay-side entertaining. Second grill on upstairs deck also available. Lounge on the hammock, hang out around the firepit and the circular lounge furniture on the beach. Around the front of the house is a artificial grass yard, and circular driveways. Take the bikes or walk through the dense private tropical hardwood hammock lanes. Check out the 120+ orchids growing on every tree, something is always blooming! This is the perfect home for private family vacations, family reunions or holidays away from home. Security cameras are OUTDOOR only and no audio is monitored.

We were so pleased with everyday at this home
It is a lovely home in a beautiful private setting.
From the front door to the dock it has everything you could want. Wonderful kitchen, great family area and the most comfortable beds on the inside to a pool and gazebo you don’t want to leave outside. We didn’t need to ask for anything due to it being there. A true gem for a vacation. 🎣😎🌴

Jennifer was amazing from day one! The property is everything we expected and more! Everything was absolutely perfect and the catering company, Caribbean Catering was great and made our stay super easy with world class meals! We are definitely planning on returning next year!

My family stayed at jenn and Pete’s private oasis over the new year to celebrate my dads 60th birthday and we have nothing but amazing things to say! The home sits beautifully on the water, the pool is heated (and Jen even remotely was able to adjust the heat up to bath water temps for us, since FL had much colder than usual weather at the start of our trip - this is just 1 example of how thoughtful & accommodating they are at EVERY turn). the sunsets were unreal and we even saw a manatee swimming by one morning & Lobsters hanging out down at the end of the dock! The speaker in the pool is such a cool added feature and the outside seating is just as cozy as the inside! My dad was tickled to celebrate his birthday in his “own private resort” and we will forever cherish the memories we made together as a family at this perfect get away. Any questions we had Jenn answered promptly, the house is not only beautifully decorated, but also has everything you will need & more. We cooked, grilled, relaxed, partied and not one person in my family had a complaint (that never happens!) Thank you again Jenn & Pete for sharing your phenomenal piece of paradise with our family! And to anyone that is considering staying here, look no further!! There is no way any other property could even begin to compare.. Five (plus) stars! THANK YOU NICOLETTIS, WE WILL BE BACK!

WOW! This beach front home is amazing. My husband and I have 4 children ages 41-50 years old and 6 grandchildren 7-19 years old, this beach home really had something for everyone. Every child, their spouses, and their children loved this beautiful beach home. There was so much for them to do! Snorkeling righty off the dock, fishing off the pier, paddle boarding, kayaking. swimming, everyone loved it!! Our 47 year old daughter even got ENGAGED! Most of all we loved the opportunity to rest, relax and renew our family ties. We made so many wonderful memories! We WILL return for another long stay soon. Thanks for sharing your beautiful home with us!!

This is a beautiful slice of paradise tucked away in a surprisingly private area. The owners thought of everything to make your stay very enjoyable. No need to leave; however, if you do want to venture out, you are a short drive to lots of water adventure options. We highly recommend this property and we hope to stay here again in the very near future.

Private piece of Heaven
My family of 11 just returned to Montana from a week at this lovely place. We have been vacationing as a group of five adults and six children for the last 10 years, and this is the first place we have been that is exactly as advertised. Everything was beautifully decorated, clean, and comfortable.
The white sand beach is incredible and private; we spent a good share of each day in the water. The kids (ages 9-16) were in heaven!
Jen recommended several places to eat, all of which had wonderful seafood. We especially enjoyed the Lazy Days Restaurant, and spending time at Robbie's.
Jen and Pete were absolutely the best hosts we have ever experienced. The second day we were there, we noticed that the grill had a propane leak, and let them know. By the following afternoon, Pete had come to the house and installed a completely new grill for us. Pretty amazing!
We highly recommend this beautiful place!

After Hurricane Matthew "blew away" our vacation plans in the Bahamas, we found a paradise in Islamorada with Jennifer & Pete.

Roomy, clean with all the comforts of home. Amazing views from entire house, including a clear view of the ocean from the second floor balcony. Kids had an incredible time paddleboarding, canoeing and even spotted a dolphin! You can’t go wrong with a cigar on a hammock under the shade of a tree during sunset. Left with a renewed sense of peace after spending time there and can’t wait to go back!

Amazing Home!
Simply saying this house is amazing is an understatement!! The views are incredible! We sat on the balcony drinking our coffee each morning and in the chairs on the beach each night. The house was more than enough. I vacationed with my family of 10 adults and 2 children. Each couple was able to have their own private space. The dining room table was great for our big family dinners as well as game night. The location is perfect! It's close to so many things but at the same time it is very secluded! The dirt road is hard to find but the owner gave great directions. We were able to swim and lay out on our own beach. We also brought a boat and seadoo. Being able to have them onsite was a major plus! We will definitely stay here again!

After accidentally missing the turn-off from U.S.1 to Lysiloma Lane twice (it's sneaks up on you), we turned down a tree-lined gravel road, at which we probably drove another half mile before finding the house on Gumbo Limbo Lane. What struck us when we first got out of the car in front of the house was how isolated we were from the traffic along U.S.1. The house is nested inside of what would pass as a small forest, while opening it's back yard to the calm waters on the bay. The house appeared to be well cared for, and had plenty of room for us to have some friends come over and visit who were staying nearby. The kitchen had plenty of counter space and one of those new stoves that can boil water in a minute. The bedrooms were decorated nicely with a tropical plantation theme to them. The bedrooms upstairs had attached bathrooms to them, while one of the bedrooms downstairs had it's bathroom located just outside it's door. The inside impressed us as being well maintained.
The exterior was nicely decorated with plantation shutters. The front parking area was a large circle which had some trees in the center. The back yard is what really catches your eye. They have a beach area no doubt man-made, with I think eight adirondack chairs on the beach facing the water. The whole scene could be made into a painting: I spent my early mornings on the second floor balcony drinking coffee a gazing on the treeline-framed view of the beach and bay. The water on the bay side is way calmer, having stayed at locations on the ocean side in the past. Since it was April, it was a bit cool, but casually sitting in the waist-deep water while drinking beer does not suck! Recommend bringing water shoes when going in the water.
Negatives: Turn-off from US 1 needs better signage; wish we could have brought our dogs.

This was the perfect house for a relaxing vacation because you have the option of escaping the crowds with your own private beach yet still remain close to a fair amount of restaurants, bars, and other activities that are only an incredibly short drive away if you want to experience the culture of the town. I would definitely recommend renting this location for anyone going on a vacation, be it as a family or for a group of friends on a getaway together.
