Breakfast selection was great. To be provided with yoghurt was a bonus. Vanessa provided good bread not the cheap and nasty type which we really appreciated.
It was great to have access to 2 bathrooms. We ended up having the whole place to ourselves, family of 8.
My girls didn't like the daddy long-leg spiders in the bathroom and bedroom. Totally harmless we know but they made a get rid of them :-)

The unit is so spacious and clean. Perfect also for the big group of friends or families.

How tidy and clean the house was and how comfortable it was.
Only 1 thing the top bed needs to tightening its a little lose. Just need to be more firm.

We had a great stay at this place, we were able to upgrade rooms while staying there which added good value and made our stay more enjoyable

Location was great for the kaupapa we were up there for. Other whanau members turned up not long after us because they had rented the room next door, so that was great. Very clean and tidy. Hassle free to enter with great instructions to use the key lockbox. Victoria was super helpful and had great communication.
I had the bottom bunk. I didn't have a very good sleep at all. The mattress sunk in the middle and then my neck was out of place from the pillows lol The blanket that was above the top sheet ((yes i could feel it through the sheet) old school army type blanket but the colourful one) had me scratching and irritated all night to the point that I thought there was bed bugs (there wasn't because when i took the blanket off, I was fine). I ended up taking it off the bed. This was only my bed. My friend and daughter had the best sleep.

Spacious living area, well equipped kitchen. Clear entry instructions, good communication with the host. Comfy bed.
Room a little basic and small, especially if you have some luggage to stow away. Bedside lamp would be nice, otherwise fine and clean.
4.5
it was comfortable dry and warm
it would have been good to have a mirror in my room and a sensor light at the front door. it was a bit dark opening the lock box

Although there are 3 separately let rooms, there was no one else there so we had the shared part to ourselves so plenty of space. Good bathroom. Continental breakfast ingredients were provided.
Has a lot of potential but not clean - oven, microwave and very dirty windows. Details did not make it clear that kitchen and eating areas were shared - though no one else arrived during our stay so the only problem was uncertainty that other people may arrive at any time.
4.5
Easy to find, the host was very kind and helpful.

It was vacant - all other Taranaki properties were fully booked, this was our only option... but we were quite glad to have it.
Patea is in the middle of literal nowhere. It takes at least 1 hour to get to Taranaki Visitor center, and even more to New Plymouth.
It was impossible to distinguish what food is part of the free breakfast, and what food belongs to other guests. A simple label inside the fridge would help.
It took us about 30 minutes to get inside our rooms. It would help if the rooms were numbered, and if better (higher quality) locks were used.

The free breakfast was great.
Internet was extremely slow.

I stayed in two properties I preferred the second property on Elizabeth Street as I didn’t have to share with strangers not that they were bothersome I think I was a bother for them as I arrived real late in the evening and left early in the morning
Just the lock entry I found that bothersome as I couldn’t figure it out Sorry to the other man staying in property and Victoria

plenty of room to relax
my room could have done with darker curtains.

Good value and met my expectations
