The Space:
Spacious open plan living, dining & kitchen area with great views! Spectacular sunsets are a real feature of this location & are not to be missed! This home has been thoughtfully furnished & equipped. High ceilings, a cosy wood fire & extensive use of glass in the open plan living area combine to make this a most enjoyable space throughout the seasons.
Spacious, light filled with enjoyable views - the open plan living area enjoys a cosy food fire & enough space for everybody to relax! A full length verandah is accessed via french doors from both the living area & master bedroom.
The master bedroom enjoys a queen bed and ensuite bathroom with a family bathroom just at the end of the hall to service bedrooms 2 & 3. Bedroom 2 has a queen bed, while bedroom 3 has 1 single bed + a set of single bunks (top and bottom single beds)
Double garage available for guest parking.
The house area has no internal steps. The laundry with washing machine & dryer is located on the lower level accessible by an external staircase only.
The main bathroom has a bath & shower (shower over bath) with a separate powder room.
All linens & bath towels are provided to ensure you have a most relaxing & enjoyable stay. Ducted heating & cooling ensures comfort all year round. Complimentary WiFi is available.
The property backs Tuross Lake waterfront reserve, however due to the natural terrain, the lake itself is not accessible from the property.
Mature gums at the rear of the property provide a natural habitat for many species of birds & wildlife which complements the beauty & tranquillity of the setting. A gas barbecue & outdoor furniture is located on the front sheltered decked area.
Guest Access:
Guests have full access to the Premises including the double garage. There is a locked storage room adjacent to the laundry that is not accessible by guests.
We are happy to meet you at the property on arrival or leave keys in the lock box located at the property.
The Neighborhood:
A range of swimming beaches, Lavender Bay boat ramp & Tuross Lake for fishing & boating are just minutes away. Just down Trafalgar Road, you will find the Boatshed Cafe as well as the Picked Octopus Restaurant.
As this home is located on a steep block with no fencing it may not be suitable for small children.

The form requires you to read and accept the terms and conditions as well as provide your valid photo ID. Please contact prior to booking should you have any queries at all.
Security Deposit . A refundable guest security deposit of $300.00 applies at Chalet on Trafalgar Tuross Head. The security deposit is held by way of a pre-authorisation against your card. The hold is placed on the day of arrival and released within 48 hours of departure unless withheld to cover any damages. Please note; this does not apply to airbnb bookings.
Guests numbers must not exceed the number of guests stated on the booking. The house has a maximum occupancy limit of 7 persons including adults & children. Additional fees to apply after 4 guests.
A non-refundable booking fee of $55.00 applies to each reservation.
Large group bookings, parties or events are not accepted at Chalet on Trafalgar. The property is non smoking internally.
• Please note, that our property shares a driveway with our neighbors at number 21. It is crucial to keep the shared driveway clear to ensure smooth access for everyone. Chalet on Trafalgar is the RIGHT HAND side house as you enter the driveway, and the garage directly to the RIGHT of the driveway belongs to number 23. For your convenience we recommend parking your vehicle in the garage. This not only secures your car but also prevents any obstruction in the shared driveway, allowing free movement for our neighbors at number 21.

Chalet in Trafalgar
Great property. Shared driveway was a bit of an issue. During the night we assume the neighbours came & spray painted marks in front of our car, perhaps delineating the edge of our space? We had ensured we we’re always parked within & not causing any obstruction. Our 4WD with kayak was too tall to fit in the garage. We found this action to be very disturbing and quite passive aggressive. We had previously spoken pleasantly to the neighbours. It did affect our stay making us feel quite uncomfortable. Future guests should be forewarned of this neighbours attitude. The house itself was lovely with gorgeous views and a great fireplace that we used during the very wet weather. Perhaps a tidy up of the outdoor areas to remove all the spiderwebs would be beneficial. And a hose would have been useful.
Previous guest rubbish was left outside the laundry & the garage door was left wide open on our arrival. We weren’t sure if this was meant to be so.
Despite the driveway issue we really enjoyed this property

Excellent property at a stunning place
We had an excellent time at the cottage. Located at a great spot within Tuross Head, you can walk to the boat shed as well as the town centre. The cottage itself is very charming, spacious and thoughtful. The bay windows overlooking the valley and the lake provide an incredibly majestic aura to the place. Tuross Head is a spectacular spot and this property does justice to the best it can offer!
One gripe though is that we weren't able to find any BBQ tools or cleaners so struggled a bit on that front. But the property itself more than compensated.
