Newly renovated luxury 2 BR cottage with unique local craftman designer feature throughout.

Ideal for romantic escapes or for some quality time with your family or special friends.This luxury cottage has everything you should need for your stay. Curl up with a special book or lay back and enjoy a great movie or settle on the veranda to soak in the spectacular Alpine views of Trappers Gap and the Mighty Mt. Bogong.

Indulge, Relax, Enjoy!

Indulge in the local produce from the many spectacular restaurants, cafes, vineyards and breweries, which are all close by or help yourself to the fruit from the orchard from the garden.

Features include a spacious open living lounge and fully equipped kitchen, double garage, wood burning fire, reverse cycle air conditioning, two bedrooms, 1 bathroom with shower and spa, full laundry facilities , additional toilet in laundry, Flat Screen LCD TV and CD and DVD player.

Sleeps five, consisting of either one queen size bed in the master bedroom and one king size and a trundle or two long singles and a trundle in the second bed room. All linen provided.

Trappers Cottage is nestled in the Upper Kiewa Valley, which is 30km from Bright and only a 30 minute drive from Falls Creek Ski Resort, with Hotham and Mt Buffalo near by.

Skiing, boarding and snow play in the alps, mountain cattleman's huts.

From the time we opened the door of Trappers Cottage we were relaxed, the beautiful lemon myrtle and citrus scent as we walked in, the beautiful interior design, furnishings and the gorgeous garden with great views of the mountains. Everything about Trappers Cottage was wonderful and we will definitely be staying there again.

Always a pleasure to stay. Very clean, so organised, little things that are provided such as dishwasher & laundry soap which I’m grateful for. Games and dvds, books for the kids, beautiful view of the mountains where I grew up. I could keep going on. Until next time!

This was a great place to stay for our family ski holiday, well located to drive to either Falls Creek or Hotham. Extremely comfortable and had everything we needed. The setting is beautiful - would be fantastic to come back in summer and enjoy the outdoor space a bit more.

We loved staying at this cottage as it had every comfort anyone could need! It was beautifully decorated, super clean and felt like a home away from home! Beds are most comfortable (important to me as I have a bad hip). We loved sitting on the balcony for breakfast, admiring the mountain view and listening to the birds! One little minus is the close proximity to the road with some traffic noise but we knew that before we booked.... Sonja was most helpful and prompt in her contacting us. We will definitely go back! Thank you Sonja for a wonderful stay!

What an amazingly unique cottage ! Communication with the manager was easy and the directions were great . But the house ….. the photos just don’t do it justice ! Everything was of high quality and there was everything there to make for a relaxing stay . The kitchen was so well stocked and practical to use with plenty of cooking and eating utensils. We ate fresh oranges from the orchard on the property and sat relaxing in the gorgeous north east sun on the back verandahs . It was great to have an easy to use laundry and the extra toilet was appreciated. Our only issue was that it was too warm for us to be able to use the outside fire pit or the fire inside ! It must be wonderful in winter . It looked well designed for people who might stay for the snow and it was only a 25 minute drive to Bright if you could tear yourself away from the view ! It is within an easy walk to a brewery and Mt Beauty is so close . There is a little traffic noise but this was such a small price to pay for the artistic details snd craftsmanship that is exhibited in this cottage . It was so hard to leave . Until next time …….

The house is beautiful and wonderfully quirky. You can’t fail to be impressed by how lovely this place is- including the garden. The location is great, a short 20 mins to the foot of Mt Bogong and a quick walk to the cafes and bakeries. It is lovely to be able to eat on the veranda and look at the view. We really hope to go back

Such a beautiful house and location. I stayed with my husband and 3yr old. The house has a lovely homily relaxing vibe. The craftsman ship that has gone into it is stunning!! My 3yr old loved exploring the garden and eating his breakfast out on the deck every morning. Thank you again for a lovely relaxing stay and we will be back 🙂

We had a lovely brief getaway to this perfectly maintained cottage, located in the valley below Mt Beauty and neighbouring peaks. Very effective wood burning heater made it cosy. Pantry and bathroom stocked with everything we could need. Communications by text and email were all prompt, welcoming and helpful. Although it’s on the highway, we weren’t bothered by traffic noise and walked into Mt Beauty township along an easy path.

This cottage has so many little extras and lovely design features it is impossible to list them all here. You just get a great feeling on walking through the door. Perfect communication with the owner. We will be back to this brilliant place. Also the outside has so many sitting areas you are lost for choice.

A fabulous full-size house with a million 'extras'

This house is amazing! It so sooo comfortable and has every conceivable 'extra' you will ever need. Not just a few kitchen items, but as many or more than in your own home. It is large in all respects, including the bathroom, complete with spa bath. The decor is all timber - beautifully crafted - plus mosaics and much more! The gardens are really lovely - either on the deck facing two directions towards the mountains, or lower down in a quiet secluded area, complete with BBQ. Plus orange and lemon (and Grapefruit?) trees and lovely flowers. One of the best we have come across in several decades of travelling, both here and overseas.

A well built house with loads of character in a great location. There was no need to bring anything - the house had it all. Great fruit orchards on the property provided juicy fruit. There was the added convenience of a carport right beside the side entrance. Cannot wait to return.

Travelled with our 2 adult children and we all loved it. It was warm and welcoming, and everything was thought of. The kitchen was really well layed out, so easy to cook in, the fire was clean and well stocked, and everything else was clean. Very enjoyable.

A real find!

A real find!

Had a very enjoyable stay at cute Trappers Cottage. It is very comfortable, well equipped and with the extra touches which make the cottage very welcoming, including an endless supply of wood for the fire. Look out to Mt Bogong or climb to the top to see forever on a clear day. We especially loved the beautiful craftsmanship in the woodwork and the quirky but very clever reuse/recycling in and around the property. Trappers cottage is within easy walking of delightful Mt Beauty, resplendent with autumn colours when we visited. Sonya is a friendly and caring host and we do hope to stay there again before too long.

Amazing Mt Beauty Cottage

My partner and I feel although we couldn't have picked a better spot to stay for our snowboarding weekend. The cottage had everything anyone could need and more - a beautiful big spa bath, lovely living area with a roaring fireplace and generous balcony and outdoor area with a beautiful outlook. It was also incredibly clean. Sonja was lovely and made sure the fire had warmed up the house for our arrival. Was also located in a perfect spot which was walking distance to cafes, restaurants and the local tavern! We will 100% be back next year
