About this apartment rental
A perennial VOV favourite that just gets better with age!
Matured like a fine wine to be sipped and savoured by its guests and ravishingly renovated in late 2019 to maintain (and exceed!) the high standards expected during your stay, the charming Ca’ Belle Arti sits on the 1st floor of a little ‘casa’ in the heart of Dorsoduro beside the tranquil Campo Sant’ Agnese.
Within minutes of the Accademia Bridge/Galleries, the Palazzo Cini Gallery and the Peggy Guggenheim Collection and just a few steps (via a short ‘sotoportego’) to the stunning Zattere promenade along the glittering Giudecca Canal, this evergreen apartment boasts 2 bedrooms/2 bathrooms, plus Wi-Fi and air-conditioning to keep you connected, comfy and cool.
Welcoming in ambience, timeless in decor and putting relaxation at the heart of the house, the ‘sleeps 4’ Ca’ Belle Arti is both cosy and stylish and comprises:
Ground floor
• A private front entrance leading directly into the apartment’s vestibule hallway with a handy laundry room equipped with a washing machine situated to the rear.
A short staircase rising up to the 1st (main) floor, where you’ll find:
• Attractively presented in co-ordinated neutral colours, a splendid open-plan main sitting room/kitchen/dining area offering plenty of space for everyone to be together and showcasing characterful wooden beams overhead, a pair of tall windows to the fore letting in plenty of light with custom-built cabinetry beneath, a series of sepia architectural wall-prints set above a squishy sofa and double sofa bed furnished with cushions galore, a compact yet fully-fitted kitchen with all the necessary appliances for easy self-catering, and a dining space with ample seating as part of the kitchen.
And just to the side of the main room:
• A bright and elegantly presented master bedroom with a tall beamed ceiling, a pair of windows facing the campo, warm wooden flooring underfoot to match that of the sitting room, a walk-in wardrobe, a comfortable double bed (which can be made into twins upon request) and an en suite bathroom with modern shower.
While tucked away peacefully to the rear of Ca’ Belle Arti sits:
• The masterfully upgraded 2nd bedroom ¬– more ‘bijou’ than the master – charmingly decked out in restful eau-de-nil and furnished with a custom-built single wardrobe to each side of its well-dressed double bed.
And completing the accommodation towards the centre of the apartment:
• Ca’ Belle Arti’s 2nd bathroom with modern fittings and a bathtub with shower over.
Are you part of a larger group who’d like to stay close together but in separate apartments? We offer another gorgeous apartment just a few steps away: Ca’ Dell’ Ulivo
OUR COMMENT
A much-loved apartment with a very loyal following, newly renovated and peacefully placed in one of Venice’s most select residential locales (and situated right at the foot of the sleepy little calle where, in a scene from the classic 1955 must-watch David Lean film ‘Summertime’, Katharine Hepburn and her street urchin companion laugh as they cool themselves down in the waters of the neighbourhood fountain!)
Close to the Church of the Gesuati (Santa Maria del Rosario), the Church of Santa Maria Della Salute, the Punta Della Dogana Museum of Contemporary Art and to a great choice of eating places including the well-reviewed Ristorante Agli Alboretti approaching the Accademia Bridge via the avenue of Oleander that is the Rio Tera Foscarini; the famous gelataria Da Nico; the popular and long-standing Trattoria Ai Cugnai and Corner Pub; the Osteria Al Squero and Cantinone Gia Schiavi - Al Bottegon (both perfect for spritz and ‘cicheti’); the upscale Ai Gondolieri behind the Guggenheim and the equally upscale Ristorante Riviera overlooking the Zattere; or for something simpler, Oke with its mind-boggling variety of eat-in or takeaway pizza.
Also within a short canal-side walk of the well-stocked Conad supermarket at the western end of the Zattere for all your self-catering needs, and minutes to 2 vaporetto (water bus) stops – ‘Zattere’ to the south and ‘Accademia’ to the north – plus only 1 minute to the Alilaguna boat stop connecting the Zattere to Venice's Marco Polo Airport.
For arrivals between 8.00 p.m. and midnight there is an additional cost for "late arrival" of Euro 50, to be paid in cash upon arrival. We organize arrivals between midnight and one o'clock with an additional cost of Euro 100, after this time we reserve the right to accept the customer always with a supplement to be quantified according to the time of arrival.

Property is well located and pleasant walk from both Rialto or St.Marks. Loved being beyond the tourist areas. Easy vaporetto access to all major spots within 5-10 min. Best restaurants in Venice right around corner on water front. Property itself was immaculate, well stocked and furnished. Beds were super comfortable. Highly.recommend.

I cannot praise this property enough. It was absolute perfection, from the quaint location to the ultra comfortable beds. The neighborhood is close enough to everything, including vaporetti stops, but is tucked away in a gorgeous historic part of the city. The apartment itself has every convenience we needed and was beautiful and spotless. Will definitely stay again!

Property was perfect for our needs, clean, comfortable, updated, but still had the old world charm to it. I can't say enough about the service. The host, Views on Venice, set up all of our transfers, our tour to Burano, and our restaurant reservations to our personal specifications. They were always happy to help and available whenever we needed them or had a question. I highly recommend this property!

Comfortable and convenient location in a wonderful quiet/peaceful neighborhood. We rented for a week. Close to two vaporetto stops, a grocery store, and large supermarket. Many restaurants in the vicinity. The apartment was clean, spacious, and cozy with full kitchen, including dish washer and washing machine. Travelled with my husband and teen niece and they enjoyed the apartment very much. I cooked several meals for us. Apartment description is as described and the management staff friendly and accessible. Check in was a pleasure with Elisa who explained everything about the apartment and the neighborhood. We would definitely stay there again when we return to Venice. Thank you for a fantastic stay! We loved the apartment.

We have nothing but positive things to say about our time at this property. The unit was exactly as advertised and pleasant through and through. This area of Venice (Dorsoduro/Accademia) is perfect for anyone seeking quiet surrounds but proximity to St. Mark's and other districts within a 15-minute stroll. Lots of great art and small places to eat/drink close by. Beyond the unit, the Views on Venice team made our stay easy and carefree. From the moment we booked we were contacted by VOV staff with next steps. They helped us book a water taxi to get to the unit. They greeted us at the unit and provided super helpful instructions on the property and things in the area. When we needed something, they responded by email quickly and were always accommodating. Unit + VOV service earns this stay 5 stars throughout.

The best part of Venice...quiet, close to Vaporrettos, Academie bridge, and other points of interest. We would definitely stay again!

Loved the decor and high standard of design with excellent taste. Extremely comfortable bed, my number one requirement.
Thank you Caterina for waiting in the rain to meet me on arrival!
Pillows I didn’t find very comfortable. A little hard, prefer memory foam.

This is an amazing apartment, in a quiet section of Venice that is also not far from the major sights. The apartment is well thought out and beautifully furnished and decorated with luxury wall treatments, bedspreads etc. It was very hot during our stay in Venice so we appreciated the AC in the bedrooms and slept well on the very comfortable beds and pillows. Two full bathrooms were a treat and helped the 4 of us get ready efficiently for sightseeing. There is a washing machine as well. I really can’t say anything bad about the place and if we returned to Venice I would book it again!

This apartment was perfect for our visit to Venice as far as connecting with the water taxis and attractions. We were disappointed with the amenities provided—no paper towels, no coffee provided. There were several versions of coffee pots but no instructions on working them. Therefore, we had to walk to the nearest coffee kiosk to get coffee each morning.
The bedrooms were equipped with air conditioning but they were not very efficient.

This was by my favorite place to stay in all of Italy. Dorsoduro is close enough to the madness of Venezia, yet offers a quiet escape. Close to the Zettere water taxi exit. Just fabulous. Place was spotless, beds comfortable, great air conditioning, toiletries and everything needs for a wonderful stay. Finally, the host was friendly and communicated very well. Grazie for a wonderful experience.

We loved feeling part of the Venetian community in Dorsudoro. We enjoyed the proximity to restaurants and cafes, the kids walking to school, and locals gathering in the square in the evenings. We felt secure and very comfortable.
When a jacket was forgotten and left behind, the office was very cooperative in returning it.
We were grateful for the laundry facilities, comfortable seating and well equipped kitchen.
We would have appreciated some coffee pods to simplify our first day in Venice. We had difficulty learning which ones to buy.

Everything about this rental experience was perfect! Great contact and we were met at the water bus and brought to the apartment and given all the information we could want. The location was in a quiet square just off the water. The beds were very comfortable and everything we needed was provided. Highly recommend!

We stayed here prior to a cruise that left from Basilio, so an easy walk away. Lots of terrific restaurants in the neighborhood and just a few hundred yards from the Accademia bridge. Very clean and comfortable. Tricky front door lock, so test it out when the rental agency rep is on site. Also the front door bell wasn’t working so we missed the garbage pickup until the last day!

Our home in Venice
This is our 4th stay at Ca’ Belle Arti. When we walk through the door we feel like we have arrived home.
Put a drape across the entrance to the hallway by the kitchen to make the bedroom/bathroom more private.

Just off the Zattere, our favourite area to stay in Venice. This is a comfortable flat with every convenience. It is somewhat dark which is an advantage in summer and only a street view but this is no problem with the Accademia and as mentioned the Zattere practically on the doorstep.

The apartment was perfect for 3 of us. The location is great with an easy walk to either the Accademia Bridge or Zattere to take the waterbus. Supermarket a short walk. Check-in as promised, useful information, including the recommendation of the Calcina Restaurant 2 mins walk away.

L'appartement est très agréable, bien placé, calme, bien aménagé. Nous étions deux couples et avons apprécié l'éloignement des chambres et salles de bain. Appartement très confortable.
Tout est bien

Comfortable apartment in perfect location
Staying in Ca'Belle Arti for the 7th time proves our
satisfication.

This is a perfect flat. The landlord from Views on Venice are brilliant, they booked a restaurant for us, put up the board to keep out the aqua alta, and looked after us when the quarantine was introduced. We will go back as soon as we can. Venice needs its tourists, though it was especially lovely without them last week.

Sweet stay
Very nice apartment in a great location. Our third apartment through VOV. Easy to get everywhere and yet away from the crush of the high traffic tourist areas.

Feeling
Very comfortable apartment, excellent situation, excellent service by Views on Venice! This was our 6th holiday in Ca'Belle Arti. Highly recommended!
The lights are a bit "poor" in efficiency... Due to our "aged"eyes or/ and actual energy politics?

cozy and room for everybody
well furnished, spaces well organized and room for everybody - will definitely come back!

Wonderful Experience In Venice
My wife and I decided, on short notice, to take a quick vacation to Venice. Neither of had ever visited this lovely city and were looking for a quiet, comfortable and romantic location in Venice. I stumbled on this property and shot a short email to Giorgio (the owner). He replied immediately and we book the apartment. We were apprehensive about using VRBO over seas, but it turned out to be a wonderful find. The apartment is beautiful and very comfortable. It is located at the Spirto Santo vaparetto stop which makes it convient for sight seeing and transportation to the airport.. Giorgio met us at the vaparetto stop and gave us a tour of the property. He was gracious with his time and whenever we had a question about the city we felt comfortable calling or texting him. He is a gentleman and very easy to work with. The apartment is located in the Accademia part of Venice. Very quiet at night with some very good restaurants and cafes right outside the door. The city of Venice, San Marco square and other sites are a nice walk or a short water bus ride. We walked most everywhere and enjoyed the experience...I do believe that is the best way to experience Venice, walk everywhere. You can't get lost (maybe turned around a bit) since it is a small island.
I highly recommend this property. The apartment and Venice exceeded our expectations. We cant wait to go back.

Comfortable apartment and great location
We were 2 couples who happily shared this clean and quiet 1st floor apartment in charming Campo Sant’Agnese. It is close by the Zattere restaurants, vaparetto and Alilaguna stop. The kitchen is well equipped though there is only a cooktop and no oven. A french press coffee maker would be a welcome alternative to the expresso coffee pot that is supplied. The rental process from beginning to end was worry-free. The Views on Venice representative was prompt and very helpful.

GREAT location!
We LOVED this apartment...just the right size...and a wonderful location that was quiet and yet convenient. The team was terrific once we were there....I was a little frustrated with the communication prior, but once on the ground and there in Venice, the team could not have been more fantastic. There are wonderful restaurants right in the area - we had great meals at Ai Gondelieri and La Piscina (right around the corner). We really lucked out with this apartment....and we'd stay here again!
4.8
A Serenissima stunner
Perfect location for a relaxing stay in Venice - away from the crowds yet close enough to walk anywhere. The apartment was equipped with everything we could have wanted, nicely-decorated, comfortable and with the best shower we'd seen in Europe in a long time!

What A Find!
What a fantastic apartment. We felt so lucky to find such a wonderful place to stay during our visit to Venice. The moment we stepped off the water taxi, we were met by a property manager who was warm and gracious and informative. She led us to our apartment and explained in great detail everything we needed to know. The apartment was beautiful and so clean and well maintained. It was also located in a great spot just within a minute from the water taxi and close to a great grocery market where we bought all our supplies for our meals. The kitchen was so well stocked and the bedrooms were specious with very comfortable beds. We loved every minute we got to spend here.

Comfortable apartment with good vaporetta access
This apartment is ideally located on a quiet street for a good night's sleep, but is a short stroll to good Dusoduro restaurants and stores, and a supermarket. Located off a quaint square where children can safely play, it is also very close to 2 Vaporetta line stops, giving you easy access to all the tourist sites if you prefer not to walk over bridges. Views on Venice was very helpful during the booking process. The apartment is well equipped for tourists, with excellent appliance instructions and local guide suggestions for restaurants and activities. Apartment photos offer a true likeness, and the accommodation is comfortable and clean. The air conditioning and wifi/satellite TV was a appreciated. The neighborhood appears very safe. I would definitely use Views On Venice again!

Great apartment in a great location!
Family of 4 with 2 teenagers, we travel a lot and know what we want. We were very happy with the apartment, the two full bathrooms was a +. Given how hot and humid it was the A/C was a must and it worked its magic. It could be a bit cozy for 4 people but we were there for 3 nights and that was perfect. Dorsoduro was ideal for us: away from the noise but close enough to everything. Water bus and water taxis almost at your door. Views on Venice staff were very professional and accommodating. We would go back and already recommended it to people who inquired about it on the street.
