Completely unplug at this GORGEOUS mountainside Inn. Close enough to a few dining and shopping options so that you're not completely removed if you choose not to be. Glenn and Kay are most welcoming and Kay's breakfasts are DEEE-LICIOUS!!! Ask for the cheesy potatoes...you can't miss!!! Thank you for a wonderful weekend!!! Would go back in a minute!!!

This listing is just as described. The view is magnificient and the accomodations are spacious and clean. Glen and Kay are very gracious and kind hosts, please book on their website and take them up on their recommendations on things to do and places to eat in the area. Also be sure to have some cash on hand to buy maple syrup from them, this stuff is liquid gold and very delicious. Last but not least, Kays breakfasts are to die for, everything is fresh from local farms nearby. I'll be back!

Kay and Glenn couldn't have been more friendly and helpful.

First impressions count. We were given self check-in instructions since our hosts would be unavailable at the time of our arrival.
When we entered the loft we were blown away with it's atmosphere and the view from the living room window was just spectacular. We immediately knew we were going enjoy our stay. When Glenn and Kay returned home their greeting was warm and welcoming. They truly enjoy having people to stay in their home and it shows. They were sociable and friendly and conversation flowed freely and easily. It’s the little touches that count... The warmth of the welcome, providing us with our own space, perceptiveness and thoughtfulness, great food, a comfortable bed, room comfort and local knowledge were all provided. Can't say enough. It’s the ‘home away from home’ experience that we will remember above anything else after we have stayed with such great B&B hosts. Thank you Glenn and Kay.

I decided to celebrate my 30th birthday in a location that offered me tranquility and beauty. It was my first time in Vermont and my first time staying at a Bed and Breakfast, and I must say, Glenn and Kay truly made it feel like home! They are two beautiful, kind souls that made my first time experience truly enjoyable; so much so, that I look forward to making my stay with them a recurring yearly visit. They truly know Vermont well and made it a point to know their guests (my cousin and I) well -- they shared wonderful recommendations for dinner and lunch locations, were great conversationalists, had several ideas of things we could do outside of our curated agenda which allowed us to explore even more, and made sure to tailor their breakfast offerings to our delight. They even went out of their way to search for a particular item that we had spoken about in passing and we NEVER expected them to do that! It just speaks to their character as not only hosts but simply as amazing people with kind hearts and a delightful presence. As far as the living accomodations, we stayed in the 1 bedroom, not the 2, and it was VERY clean! It was also the perfect size for two people with an amazing view of the mountains from the living room (where the pull out bed was located - talk about a beautiful sight to wake up to). The sleeping accommodations were completely separate from the rest of the house so you truly had your space - they provided us with fresh and clean linens, a fully furnished kitchen with utensils, pots and pans, glassware, dish soap, etc., a large screen TV, and a private balcony. The home itself has so much character and history as well - definitely ask Glenn about that! And when I tell you Kay's cooking is outstanding, get ready for your taste buds to be more than pleasantly delighted! All in all, Glenn and Kay are terrific hosts who made my first trip to Vermont a memorable one; they are the embodiment of what Vermont has to offer and I will definitely be staying with them again whenever I visit!

This suite is a spectacular one-bedroom apartment on a beautiful picture-perfect Vermont property with mountain views, lush green everywhere and lovely flowers. Truly one of the nicest places I've ever stayed. Hosts are incredibly friendly and serve delicious garden-to-table breakfasts. Cannot recommend highly enough!

We spent some true vacations at PMI. The place was clean, inspirational and relaxing. Kay & Glenn were amazing hosts. They were both so attentive and they leveraged their network to make sure the whole family had a great time. We fished, farmed and fed the livestock. Bonus: Kay is an amazing cook! We had delicious homemade breakfast and dinner. It felt as if we were staying with family. We will definitely be back. Thank you both!

idyllic Vermont getaway
My son and I made our annual trip to stay with Glenn and Kay. The apartment is spacious, meticulously clean, wonderfully appointed and decorated and has a spectacular moutain view. Setting is idyllic and the perfect getaway from the city. Hosts are the most wonderful, engaging and hospitable couple. Literally anything you need or want they will happily get for you. Both are wonderful chefs who are particular about using only the freshest and best sourced ingredients. Kay will make you whatever your heart desires for breakfast and is truly gourmet. This is absolutely our favorite property to stay in.

Amazing Place
This is a very special well appointed unit with amazing views. We loved the location and took advantage of taking day trips in Southern Vermont. Some special evening dinners out so many good places for dinner.Go to TapsTavern in Poultney the food was amazing and the staff so friendly. The night we went they had Bluegrass Music and we thought the local musicians were so talented. Very fun.
The Barn is a great dinner spot as well.
Our hosts Glenn and Kay are special hosts and we appreciated their local knowledge and recommendations.
10 plus don’t hesitate a very special experience. Thanks to our hosts. We will return!

Having stayed in and around Manchester for many years, heading a short drive further up to the Pond Mountain Inn in Wells was an excellent decision and easily the best B&B experience my wife and and I have ever had.
Glenn and Kay were gracious hosts, breakfast was beyond delicious, and the scenery from their lovely home is hard to convey in photos alone.
Will definitely be returning again!

My wife and I decided to stay at the Pond Mountain Inn for our anniversary and could not have been happier with our stay. The property and location are beautiful. Situated on a quiet back road, it is the perfect place for either a relaxing and peaceful getaway, or to use as a home base for exploring VT. What really sets Pond Mountain Inn apart from other locations is the hosts. Glenn and Kay are incredibly hospitable and make you feel at home as soon as you arrive. We thoroughly enjoyed getting to know them and they made us feel like friends staying with friends rather than guests at an Inn. Kay makes the best breakfasts and Glenn is a wealth of knowledge of where to eat, places to visit and trips in the area. We would certainly recommend Pond Mountain Inn to anyone visiting the area. 10/10!

Beautiful Spot for a Relaxing Getaway!
We wanted a place that was close to our home in case our children needed us while we were away. The pictures and write up just spoke to us! But don’t let that fool you; those don’t do the place justice! A beautiful, open floor plan apartment with plenty of room for us to spread out. The views were beautiful out of the large picture windows. The kitchen was well-equipped. The morning breakfast was top notch, and rivaled any star chef we have eaten from! But better than all of that was Glenn and Kay as hosts. They are truly made for this lifestyle! They love people and it shows in the quality and pride they take throughout their home and your experience. We came as guests, but left as friends! We would highly recommend for your next getaway!

Glenn & Kay,
I can't say enough good things about them, thier house, and our whole stay. We stayed there in early Nov. and it was wonderful. The food, the company, the weather. Everything was perfect. They know thier stuff and have great suggestions about places to go.
But the true highlight is the breakfast. Kay does a fantastic job, so good and she won't let you leave hungry. Which is a great way to start a busy day hiking and exploring.
Can't wait to go back!

We spent several days at the Pond Mountain Inn for a simple leaf peeping getaway. It was bliss. Our loft apartment was just plain comfortable and had everything we would need for our stay. It was also scrupulously clean and attractively decorated. Our hosts, Glenn and Kay Dunn, greeted us warmly and could not have been more personable. Or informative, as they answered all of our questions about our planned excursions and gave great advice. When we weren’t off on our trips, we enjoyed the near total peace of the remote byway upon which the inn is located. And the breakfasts were worthy of a 3-star restaurant every day. We loved the Pond Mountain Inn and will go back again.

Absolute delight
We were first greeted by Glenn and Kay with warm smiles and easy going attitude. The loft is more than we imagined, super clean, beautifully decorated, and everything you would need for a relaxing stay. The grounds are beautifully manicured, with a gorgeous Mountain View. Breakfast was by far the best experience I’ve had staying at an Inn. The coffee is fantastic, and the food the mouthwatering. Classy feel to start the day!! I would highly recommend this place to those who want a quiet getaway. Glenn and Kay are great folks who know how to take care of their guests

Quiet Getaway
Glenn and Kay were wonderful hosts, and we enjoyed our breakfast and morning conversations with them. The loft apartment was spacious and very comfortable. The only downside to our visit was the weather (out of their control), and the small number of restaurant choices within a short drive. Given Kay's cooking talents, we recommended they try opening a restaurant of their own! I'm sure it would do well. Overall, we had a quiet and relaxing experience at Pond Mountain Inn, and would recommend to others.

The property is spacious, clean and tasteful. It is situated not far from Lake St. Catherine and near great hiking. The hosts are gracious, friendly and accommodating. Kay is an amazing cook and will prepare whatever you'd like for breakfast. We recommend the best omelets that we ever had and the incredible light pancakes. Take the opportunity to share a glass of wine with Glenn and Kay before dinner. We wouldn't hesitate to return for another visit.

The Pond Mountain Inn was a peaceful and secluded base for exploring Saratoga Springs and Lake George, NY. Close enough for pleasant day tripping, yet far enough from the tourist hubbub. The large loft apartment suite was clean, private and refreshing. Kay and Glenn were interesting, friendly and attentive hosts, and Kay’s breakfasts were fantastic!

Perfect retreat for WFH and winter sports.
I spent two weeks at the Loft working from home during business days and visiting VT ski sreas during weekends. I have absolutely no complaints or regrets on my side. Everything was perfect in every way. The place is clean, big and comfy, filled with a home away from home vibe. Glenn and Kay are the best hosts ever. IMHO, they are the best kept secret of this place. Two awesome individuals under one roof cant go wrong. They have tried to accommodate me with everything that I needed to feel at home and they absolutely succeeded. Breakfasts were amazing!! Kay's cooking is on point even for a spoiled with food New Yorker like me. French style omlettes are absolute killers, everyone should try them, especially sitting by the French doors under the Pergola. Not that it's a big deal in VT but home made cooking with home made eggs and bacon do the trick. If you are into winter sports and planning to go for multiple weekends in a row, look no further, the Inn is right in the middle of all of them from Mt. Snow, to Killington and to Sugarbush. It's only five stars, but I would give a hundred out of hundred any day. Kay and Glenn, thank you again.

I stayed at the Pond Mountain Inn with my husband and two daughters (ages 8 and 10) for five nights in December. Glenn and Kay were simply the best hosts one could have hoped for- helpful and accommodating but understanding of our desire for separateness due to Covid. All the breakfasts were divine (especially the homemade quiche)! The loft space was private and spotless. The location was terrific for exploring Vermont. I so hope we can return someday! Thank you Glenn and Kay for a lovely getaway!
