We enjoyed our stay and were overall happy.
The property suited our weekend needs and we love the South surrounds.
Birdsong, wind in trees, rain on roof, fire going - just delightful! Natural light in main area is so nice too. Waking up to the trees out your window, just happiness.
Communication with Jeanette was pleasant. Thank you for complimentary local wine, not wine drinkers but being a red, we used some in our spaghetti sauce and was delish.
House was clean enough, though could prob do with a deep clean and a couple area's i call customer facing (fridge needed a wipe out of bits n crumbs, top of fridge [dust n splotches], bathroom ledges n window sill, light switches + eye level power points dust, tv glass table dusty - a few areas you notice straightaway) needed wiping and soap pump bottles weren't full - I cleaned the areas mentioned except tv table and it took hardly any time.
The cleaner being there that morning before we arrived, would just show a overall preparedness for the next guests those areas being done too.
But it was neat n tidy, vacuumed, benches clean etc.
No pot lids so boiling took awhile to wait for.
No kitchen scrubber only chux wipes.
I would freshen up the pantry a bit, minimal there; some things out of date.
The fire has only a poker, no shovel, no paper, we brought wood but not starters and had to get some.
Hammock out when we arrived-wet so wasn't used by my son.
CafeGoanna expensive eggsBene(cost extra for bacon/ham + spinach?!)

Thanks Jeanette for the opportunity to stay at your beautiful little haven! Our 2 pups had the best time exploring the property and snuggling up by the fire! It was fab to be able to walk to Gianna Cafe for coffee in the mornings and sit on the balcony with a red wine in the afternoon. The location is very central and the property had everything we needed! Thank you again!

We had a lovey stay , so relaxing and very private . The mattress was incredibly comfortable, and listening to the rain on the roof never gets old ❤️

Treechange was the perfect location for a quiet weekend away. The house has absolutely everything you could need and the wood fire was perfect on the cold nights. Couldn’t fault anything with the property and the bottle of wine was special touch. Being able to have my dog with me made it a 10/10 and she loved exploring the surrounds of the property

The home was nice and cosy and we loved using the fireplace. The master bedroom had a very comfortable bed with good quality pillows and nice lamps. The kitchen was equiped with quality crockery and pans, and appliances in good working order.
We got a lot of privacy and didn’t see people around at all which was perfect. Overall, our boys and us enjoyed the two nights we spent there.

The cabin is perfect for 2 couples. We had a nice stay and being able to have our dogs made it even better. They loved exploring the surroundings and having a cosy fire to keep us warm.
Only disappointment was not being able to use the BBQ but the bottle of wine was a nice treat!

We had a really good five-night stay at Treechange, finding it well-equipped and very peaceful. We used the cabin as a base to visit's nearby sources of tip-top local produce and cooked some delicious meals, finding the pantry already full of handy store-cupboard items. On our final morning we had breakfast at Goanna Cafe, just across the road. Highly recommend the ‘Indo Breakfast’! We also made good use of the wood fire, lighting it every evening for that cozy crackle. Our dog was delighted to be included on this trip and gives the place a rather mean 4/5. He deducted a point for the lack of a nice footpath on his doorstep: the driveway is rough gravel, Hayes Road is fast 80 kph, and the woods are dense. Great dog walks to be had at Dunsborough foreshore, though, just 10 mins away from Treechange by car.

Loved this spot. I stayed with my parents and my Shih Tzu and we light the fire, put on some music and played board games and it was so relaxing. Wild Hop brewery was only 5mins away and a beautiful spot and goanna cafe across the road is very yummy. Super dog friendly, would definitely stay again.

We loved everything about this place. Very well maintained, peace and quiet with all modern facilities. It is a perfect place to relax in a meditative mood at all times.
It was probably my limited knowledge on these things I was not able to turn on the BBQ machine despite trying few times and didn't want to bother Jeanette with such a minor issue.
Thanks for the beautiful place.

The property was very clean and well appointed. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. Such a beautiful property with an abundance of birds. The complimentary Mongrel Creek wine has made it to my faves list! We loved the enclosed balcony for the fur babies, allowing them to come in and out and feel at home. Thanks for a great getaway!

Older style accommodation, spacious living area. Unusual request to supply your own bedding, bit inconvenient coming from interstate. Shower temperature was often either too hot or cold at the start, consequently wasted a fair bit of water in adjusting.House was reasonably clean. Appreciated the internal light left on as we arrived close to sunset. Appreciated night light in bathroom. Reasonable supply coffee, tea, cooking oil, cling wrap. Ceiling fans and reverse cycle available. Sofas were very comfortable and long for lounging on. Good tv reception. Enjoyed quality bush setting, native wildlife and privacy immensely. Would stay again.
