Our family and friends had the best time here! The beach area was perfect for all our crazy little ones to run around while us parents were still able to sit back and relax. The dock was very nice (some boards need to be replaced) but the screened in porch area in the dock was the perfect nap space for the infants in our group and to contain the littles during snack times! The guys had a lot of fun fishing off the dock! The access to the water trampoline was a guest favorite as well as the kayaks! The house floor plan is also wonderful. Plenty of space for our large group to be together and still have our own space. Can’t wait to book this house again for a future friends and family weekend!

Great private lot, beach and view.

The home was well equipped for our multi family getaway. Plenty of group seating, bedrooms, bathrooms and even a few quiet spaces when needed. The beach, water trampoline and dock areas were a favorite for our group. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking and entertaining and the extra refrigerator was beneficial but the oven needs to be serviced or replaced as a breaker reset was required every time we used it. Besides our frustration with the oven situation we really enjoyed the home and would consider renting again when we return to Lake Anna!

We had 5 families at the house during our stay with multiple young children.the house fix our needs perfectly. My only complaint would be that the lake area needs some attention.

We had three generations staying for the week. The house was large enough with plenty of room to spread out, enough beds, baths and refrigerators. The water trampoline was a big hit, and the five kayaks were in constant use.

This could easily be a 5 star property with some real attention. If you plan to cook during your stay, I suggest bringing your own everything. The oven is gorgeous! But feels like its more to look at than to use since the kitchen lacks quality cooking supplies. The kitchen drawers are full of yard sale items that look/feel cheap and don't match the space. The front door mat and back door mats are quite worn out with holes, fading, and fraying...could easily be updated. If you plan to spend time outdoors, you may need to build in cleaning time. We spent an hour and a half cleaning/sweeping deck area and furniture before we could use it. Also lots of debris, trash, and socks at the dock. Bedrooms had wrappers and tissues behind dressers and under the beds. One mattress has a blood stain. Also bring your own cleaning supplies - management does not provide anything. With a little TLC, this could be a 5 star property! There's tons of space and great options for all ages. After we cleaned the home, we enjoyed a fantastic weekend with extended family. It's a wonderful property - just needs some attention.

This house was perfect for our extended family vacation. Something for everyone: large porch, rec room, waterfront, water trampoline, kayaks, fully stocked kitchen. Clean and orderly. I am sure we will come back.

We stayed at this property for our son’s uva grad weekend. The house is very spacious and was great for multiple family groups. The kitchen is very nice and has multiple refrigerators which was helpful for drinks. The game room downstairs was lots of fun for the whole family. The outside areas do need some cleaning and maintenance.

The stay was great. The staff was very attentive and the place was large enough and acclimated with everything for all age groups. The kids loved rolling down the big hill in the back of the yard.

The house was perfect for several families and kids. The kids had a great time playing with the trampoline in the water and the games in the basement. The kitchen was well equipped and there were several drink refrigerators. The stove/oven was very nice. The beds were comfortable.

This house works fairly well for a big group. It has some wear and tear but the neighborhood is beautiful and a great location. Unfortunately, we had a severe problem with centipedes in the house, especially the basement. At times there were 30-40 in each room. We had to pick them off of everything. After several calls, someone did come to spray mid-week but it helped only partially. Sadly, I can’t recommend this house if you plan to use the basement.

The unit didn’t have power from 2:30 till 9:30 pm.
There was no water even for the restrooms. I was initially offered 5% discount, and when I called and disagreed, I was offered 15% discount for the day till 4:30 power outage, the power didn’t come back till 9:30 and I strongly believe this is not the way to do business. Even after calling and complaining, I didn’t get a call from the local property manager or any assistance. We requested for a candle, a small portable generator, or something so we can use the restrooms, nothing was provided.
I am also doing a business and if I give half way info to my customers, I couldn’t stay in business. When I called to the customer service they were not even aware that the house didn’t have a generator or city waters. When you are renting this big property without power, water in this weather, what would you expect us to do? I strongly suggest you to put yourself in my shoes. If any of my customers put reviews in the social media, I will have a hard time explaining and clearing my name for next business.
I had 10 kids in the house.

We loved feeling like we were isolated from everyone. The firepit was the big attraction. We roasted marshmallows, made donuts and just watched the people who were fishing or in the water. Kayaking was another big attraction. When it got too cold to be out, we went into the house and the younger generation took over the wonderful recreation room---foosball, air hockey, pool, big screen television, and a bar with many stools. On the main level, two large tables were perfect for meals, playing cards and games. There are many bedrooms, screened porches, decks for just being alone. A few of us got up early to watch the mist over the lake. All in all, we enjoyed a great time at this lovely retreat.

Won't be staying here again.
We've been renting on Lake Anna for the past seven years and have thoroughly enjoyed each rental - except for this one.
When we arrived, there was broken glass on the driveway, which we picked up. We entered the house and discovered more broken glass on the sticky and filthy kitchen floor. We soon discovered that there was no hot water, but we were able to locate the hot water tank and reset the outlet. Later that evening, we tried turning on the TVs, but none of were working due to branches in the way of the satellite dish. As we walked around the house, assigning our guests to their rooms, we noticed that many of the lightbulbs were burned out. In one of the showers, there was hair and some kind of soap on the shower floor and walls. The sheets in that room, by the basement staircase, had not been changed and were dirty. Sand was found inside the sheets in one of the other rooms. On the shelf inside the office closet, there was a stack of dirty linens. We noticed a few things when we looked outside. The trampoline was not in the water, and all of the outdoor furniture and tables were dirty and covered in leaves and debris. The basement carpet needs to be cleaned - its terrible. There was a dirty rag and dust on the treadmill as well as a pair of worn socks in the screen in porch on the floor.
Many of the beds in the house squeaked horribly and had terrible mattresses. We also noticed how filthy all of the light switches were, and there were fingerprints on the sliding glass doors. The wet bar near the garage, including the mini refrigerator, was sticky and gross. We believe that this house was not cleaned prior to our arrival and that Vacasa Rentals did not inspect it. This house has a lot of things that need to be fixed or replaced. First, lighting - many bulbs need to be replaced. Second, the smoke detector's battery needs to be replaced by the basement stairs - it had been beeping for several days. Third, the basement bathroom drain is completely clogged, and finally, the first-floor dryer does not dry at all. Some recommendations for prospective tenants. Please put some extra blankets around the house, such as on the back of the couch and at the ends of beds. It would have been nice if there had been some firewood for the fire pit. Also the kitchen needs more than two dishtowels.
It is important to inform renters that construction is taking place next door so that there are no surprises when trying to enjoy a quiet day on the deck.

A win for our 4 generation vacation
Lots of room and something for all ages 5 months to 80. We had great weather so fully enjoyed the porches and the dock and the kayaks. Loved the cove location. Bummer that 2 houses are being built on each side so there was some construction noise, but not too bad.

Great house- perfect for a multi-family get together
Plenty of space for everyone to spread out and have fun. It was awesome that each bedroom had its own bathroom which worked out perfectly for our group. Our teen/tween kids took over the downstairs which was an awesome space for them (and us adults eventually joined them in the cool space). The kayaks were a huge hit, even in the winter. The screened porches and beautiful deck/boathouse were amazing too. Nice, quiet house- no road noise which was exactly what we were looking for. Saw deer around house/ in the development several times. Not great wifi connection which made streaming shows difficult but not that big of a deal. Fire pit was wonderful too. Great wineries close by and a grocery store about 10 minutes away. Would definitely stay here again!

Feedback on Celestial Shores II
We had a great time and the house was large enough for the 4 families who stayed with us.
Issues - checking in needs to be clearly stated that you cannot get in the lockbox even 1 minute early. It took us calling the office 3 times with resetting the lockbox code twice.
The outside furniture needs some TLC as the cushions were all older and had some mold on them. 2 closet door handles fell off but we fixed them. The futon bed in the basement is caving in. But all-in-all we loved the home and had a great time.

The house was large with a great floor plan… it was tight with the dishwasher & refrigerator, but kitchen was stocked with everything ! Basement is wonderful with pool table, bar, goose ball, and air hockey … kids had a great time. Dock is great with a screened in area & water trampoline was a big hit!

Great family house
The house was clean and had nice toiletries and liquid soaps at every sink. Kitchen well stocked with dishwasher soap and trash bags. Having 2 washers and driers was wonderful as was the 2 refrigerators and commercial range. The lower level with games, wet bar and TV area was enjoyable. The community is nice for taking walks. Best of all was the beach. The water is very warm and the cove is quiet. The kids spends hours there every day. The WiFi has issues.

So so
Upon return and all comparing experiences, we believe there were beg bugs. Several in the group had "bites" that no insect was ever found. At first mosquitoes were thought to be the culprit because that is what the bites reminded us of, but no mosquitoes were ever seen. 6 of the 14 of us experienced mysterious bites that upon further investigation we believe to be bed bug bites.

Awesome place for our group stay
Had a great week here with a bunch of kiddos. Great swimming in the lake and very comfortable and HUGE house. Plenty to do. Only 2 downsides - had a few maintenance issues that created some inconveniences and the water was literally like 90 degrees and wasn’t very refreshing to swim in since this house is on the hot side of the lake. Other than that, we had a FANTASTIC time here.

Family Holiday
The home was lovely and well appointed. We actually loved the property and had a wonderful time. The only problem was when we arrived, there was dirty underwear in one of the bathrooms, dirty towels in bedroom down stairs, showers were not cleaned. This did not ruin our time but for the cleaning fee we paid should receive a portion back. With that said we would stay there again as it is a beautiful home with everything you need and more

Everything you’d need
We loved this house for our little family vacation. In particular, we loved hanging out downstairs with the bar, pool table and other games. The kitchen is also very spacious with everything you would possibly need! Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Disappointed for the price
The description says there is a trampoline but FYI it's only available during the peak season and they don't mention that in the description or anything until about a week before check-in. We had very disappointed girls since that's the reason we got the house. Also, I expected it to be more clean especially during the pandemic and was quite disappointed to find sand in the bed. Also bring cleaning products. They do provide a started supply of dish soap but there is absolutely no cleaning supplies. Thankfully, we brought our own wipes.
The master bedroom had sand in the bed and sand on the closet floor. The left shower head in the master bath doesn't have hot water.
They put a towel set on each bed per the people that can fit on the bed (1 set for double and 2 sets for full). If you need more towels and hopefully you don't have the max occupancy, you need to go get extra towels out of the bedrooms.
The plus side was that the view was nice. However, choosing this property for a girls birthday expecting a water trampoline was highly disappointing especially when she chose this property over the one that had a slide or diving board.

It was a beautiful house!!
We had a great time getting away. Not having a direct contact with the owner made things tough at times.
Would suggest they leave extra dishwasher tablets, trash bags and dish washing liquid. Due to Covid we cooked all the Meals and leaving us with min supplies we had to go buy stuff.

Beautiful! Well stocked! Super comfortable!
This house rocked for our COVID family get-away! We loved fishing off the dock, paddling around on the kayaks, campfires at night, the large lot for walking and seeing wildlife! We were all so surprised about how well the kitchen stocked with cooking utensils, pans, etc... the game area downstairs was also super nice for all the kids. We spent a lot of time eating and drinking coffee out on the decks, enjoying the view. We will certainly be back!

Lovely lakeside
We enjoyed staying lakeside here on Lake Anna. The amenities were excellent: dock, beach, fire pit, lawn, deck, porches. Inside, we enjoyed the communal spaces, especially the large rec room and the communal & open-space kitchen/dining/living area, along with the many en-suite bedrooms. We highly recommend this lovely abode.

Wonderful Property
I can't imagine finding a place nicer than this one. There was plenty of seating for dining and all the appliances (at least two of everything) and dishes you could possibly need. The beach area was great and we all enjoyed the water trampoline. The cove was quiet with very little traffic in and out. The water was 92 degrees in the cove and 98 in the lake. We look forward to coming back another time.

Perfect house in the perfect spot on the lake
The house was the perfect size for our large party (19 people in total) whose ages ranged from 6 to 63. We had plenty of space to enjoy ourselves. The house was on the private side of the lake in a nice cove with no wakes which was great for the kids to play in. We enjoyed the wildlife around the lake; we saw deer, heron, cranes, tons of fish, and eagles. We even watched an eagle swoop down to grab its dinner one evening. The only downside to the private side are there are dikes which prevent local marinas from delivering you a boat or you to take a boat out to the public side (larger side of the lake). The house itself had everything you need to enjoy yourself. This includes a well stocked kitchen to a well stocked beach area. We brought extra "beach" chairs and never used them. Food Lion, Dollar General, and the Liquor store were within a 10 minute drive. There are multiple marinas within a 20-30 minute driving distance.

Excellent retreat
The house and lot are huge, making the property truly feel like a retreat. The water trampoline kept the kids busy for a while, and all the games indoors (pool table, food all, air hockey) were great for nighttime.

Off the hook fun.
For older folks like myself, off the hook means freak’n awesome. Had a blast with two other families. Plenty of space for 15 people. The place is beautiful. Water tramp is tons of fun. The dock and screened in porch - awesome. Fireplace - awesome.
