There is at minimum a 48-hour interval between guests. This effectively acts as a “booking buffer” to block out a space of time after a rental is used to allow time for airborne particles to settle.
For convenience and to minimize person-to-person contact, our condominium is equipped with a lockbox at the entrance door, letting your self-check-in and out.
A shoe rack at the front door is provided and guests are encouraged to leave them when entering condominium.

Wonderful accommodation, close to everything we needed, walked everywhere. Overall had a fabulous time staying here from Australia for the Queen Liliuokalani Race. Would highly recommend Larry and Joy’s place would definitely stay here again.

This place is perfect. The owners were easy to communicate with if there were any concerns. The location was awesome easy access to everything in downtown Kona.
People with mobility issues please understand it’s on the third floor with no elevator People for long stays it has 34 stairs so carrying groceries (water beer😂) takes a little out of you
We had absolutely had no complaints it was exactly what we wanted. The place is clean and we slept in both beds. They were both amazing. The 3 air conditioners are awesome.
You get the morning sun on the deck even with the shades pulled down it’s really warm. The table and chairs on the deck are beautiful teak but not comfortable for short or people with mobility problems (they are like bar height table and chairs)

Perfect location for a stay in Kona

This Kona condo is very comfortable. Its location is only a block or two away from Ali'i Drive (shopping) and a small in-town beach. Only about 15 minutes from the airport. Neighbors are quiet, although there seems to be a rash of loud cars and motorcycles that can be heard when the windows are open. Water pressure in the shower is great and the owner promptly helped with one small problem we had when we arrived. A very nice place!

Really close to the main Kona stores and markets, quick walk to the shore. Also close to some good restaurants and grocery stores so you can easily eat out or in.

This condo was a solid choice for our family's stay in Kona! Our itinerary had us exploring the island for various adventures and the condo was a great home base. Spacious, well-stocked, thoughtful Hawaiian décor, and a short walk into town. Our daughters also really enjoyed playing in the pool. Thank you for your hospitality!

We had a great experience with the hosts for this property. They had excellent communication and were very helpful. The condo was overal updated and comfortable. Only complaints would be the beds/mattresses could be updated.

This condo was fine for our stay but certainly wasn’t luxury. You have to drag your luggage up 4 flights of stairs and we saw a few lizards within the condo. My main complaint is that the towels provided all reeked of mildew. I understand it’s hard to keep things dry in such a humid climate but the towels and upstairs bathroom all smelt horrible.

Great property for our family
We had a great stay here. This property gave us what we needed: location (both close to amenities and good driving proximity to lots of beaches/attractions), space, and lots of extras (beach umbrella/chairs, snorkel gear, boogey boards). It is not a luxury rental, but comfortable and functional, and we would (and hope to) stay here again!

A perfect vacation home in Kona
We were delighted to stay in this exceptionally clean, modern, well appointed two-bedroom condo conveniently located in Kona town (about a 10 minute walk from the Marriott). The beds were very comfortable with nice linens and the bathrooms were stocked with abundant towels. In addition to a full kitchen with all the appliances, cooking and serving items one needs, there were abundant beach items (including boogie boards, snorkle sets beach chairs, mats and umbrellas) and items for a baby (a play pen, high chair, stroller (we only used the former)). The condo is far enough off the highway, and sufficiently treed, that it is quite quiet. We loved spending time at the pool and using the BBQ to prepare our main meals. Dealing with Larry and Joy was a breeze. And Alan, the property manager on the ground, was very accommodating. Prospective tenants need to be aware that the condo is on the third floor and there are no elevators. That was not a concern for us, but it could be for those with mobility issues. We had a terrific stay and highly recommend this property.

Great Condo Lots Of Great Adventures On The Big Island
This condo is in a perfect location in Kona. Larry is great to work with and very responsive. The condo is spacious, clean and everything you could want in a well stocked kitchen. Quiet location which is perfect. We would definitely stay here again if we come back to the Big Island. Highly recommend!

Nice location. Needs some fixes
We enjoyed our stay and would stay again. Some aspects showing age but owner was great with communication and wanting to help make things right. Examples include old remotes, non working outlet in bathroom and broken blinds. All minor things made up for by the location and overall nice place. Would visit again.

Quick trip
We stayed here for 4 days and it was so nice! The location was perfect, right in the middle of everything. We did not rent a car and had no problem with the walking distance to shops, restaurants and entertainment. If we make our way back to Kona, I would stay here again! Larry was so easy to get into touch with leading up to our check in process, we didnt have any issues to where I needed to communicate with him during our stay but I was at ease checking in with all the info he gave me prior.

A Beautiful Property Well Worth Staying At
This is a beautiful, well-maintained unit. The decor has many thoughtful touches that give it a true Polynesian theme. The air conditioning works well; the two window shakers were quiet. All the appliances worked perfectly.
The owner was a pleasure to work with. Larry kept in touch and regularly checked with us to ensure everything was OK.
There is a little bit of noise from traffic, though not enough to keep us up at night. There is some noise from construction at a nearby shopping center, but that should be completed in the coming months.
Overall we were very happy with our stay here, and would do so again.

Great Location near downtown Kona
This condo was great for our stay in Kona. The owner/manager was very pleasant to deal with, and very responsive. The property is close to downtown with parking. The condo is well equipped, including the kitchen and some amenities for the beach. There are some tricks to managing temperature, which were easily addressed after we discovered a notebook that included a page on how to best manage fans, windows, blinds and the A/C on warm days. We are looking forward to our next visit!

Decorated lovely
Loved decor, didn’t like poorly functioning aircon or three flights up to apartment. Location good, very central. Apartment had tons of beach stuff and was very well appointed. We got sick right away, upon arrive, couldn’t enjoy anything. Not apartments fault, had to leave early....just weren’t we’ll.

2つのベッドルームそれぞれにバスルームがついており、とても便利でした。
シャンプーなどはありませんが、新品の石鹸を用意してくださいました。タオルは十分にありますが、気になる方は持参しても良いかと思います。
■キッチン
大きな冷蔵庫、シンク、カトラリーや調理器具があります。食材さえ買えば何不自由なく料理が楽しめるでしょう。
■リビング
ソファ、大きなテレビがあります。wi-fiはルーターに設置してありました。電波はどこにいても問題なく接続できます。
■空調
メゾネットタイプのため、何もしなければ上層階はやや暑いですが、ハワイにある以上仕方ないかと思います。エアコンと扇風機、シーリングファンを回せば30分ほどで快適な温度になるので、心配は要りません。
■ロケーション
カイルアコナの繁華街やスーパーマーケットまで歩いていけます。ベランダから海が見えますが、全面オーシャンビューではありません（掲載されている写真の通り）。
24時間営業のガソリンスタンドも近くです。
コナ空港からは車で15分程度、道も簡単で迷いませんでした。
■駐車場
無料で使える駐車場が1台あります。建物からも遠くなく、便利でした。
■プール
敷地内にはプールとジャグジーがあり、大きくはないですが快適に過ごせます。
■その他気づいたこと
3階までは階段なので、あまりに大きな荷物や車椅子の方などはおすすめしません。
全体的に照明は暗めです。が、必要なところにはきちんと付いているので問題ないかと思います（オフィスワークするわけではないし…）。
洗濯機や乾燥機、掃除用具、ビーチチェアやパラソル（これが一番嬉しかった！）など、暮らすのに十分な備品が用意されています。
初めてのvrboの利用でしたが、オーナーの方のレスポンスは早く親切で、安心して利用できました。
こちらに泊まれたことに感謝です。また行きたいです！

Great place to stay!
I would definitely stay again! Lots of room, very comfortable, loved having a washer and dryer in the condo! It did get a little warm if we were gone all day but it quickly cooled off with the a/c. Close to our favorite restaurant and about a ten minute walk to Ali’i Drive. It was also nice knowing we always had a parking spot. Mahalo for a wonderful stay!

Great family home
We had a very good time. Beautiful home with everything you name it . Kids enjoyed so much all beach supplies,. Loved the area !!!
Only concern was the loft was so hot , we tried everything to keep it cold but nothing helped.. we just had to deal with it . Custmer service was excellent.

KITCHEN-- FLOORING MISSING LAMINATE SQUARES,GROSS, DIRTY UNUSABLE KITCHEN--POTS/PANS HAD SCRAPED UP TEFLON + RUST. DISHES+GLASSES WERE IN CABINET DIRTY. KITCHEN HAS NOT BEEN CLEANED PROPERLY IN AGES! BUILT UP GUNK AND FILTH.
UPSTAIRS SHOWER IS OK BUT IN 100+DEGREE ROOM! UP BATHROOM WAS BEAT UP- MISSING MULTIPLE WALL/PAINT CHUNKS. DOWNSTAIRS BATHROOM SHOWER WAS INOP.

WE WOULD NOT HAVE STAYED IN A PLACE LIKE THIS AT ANY PRICE. WE HAVE USED HOMEAWAY IN HAWAII MULTIPLE TIMES AND THIS RUINED HOMEAWAY FOR ME! NOT WORTH A THIRD OF THE AMOUNT CHARGED! GHETTO APARTMENT! Kona Seaflower

Our stay at the Seaflower was everything we had hoped for and more. The location was perfect as were the amenities. My family and I were all comfortable and the condo was great. After our days adventuring, we were able to walk to restaurants and shopping at our leisure. The lanai offers ocean views as well as a peaceful place to drink coffee in the morning. We would love to come visit again!

For younger guests the stairs are not a problem but they were difficult for me. The unit had everything we needed. Upstairs bedroom very difficult to cool e.ough to sleep

Great Location!
This condo is a great location if you are planning to spend time in Kona. Walking distance to beaches, snorkeling, great food and nightlife. If you are planning on spending any time in the condo during the day, the upstairs loft does get 10+ degrees warmer than the rest of the condo. We would not have been uncomfortable up there during the day (we keep our home 62 during winter and 70 in summer), but were able to use the air conditioning and fans to make it okay in the evenings, and spent our days exploring the island. Without a way to measure, my guess would be that it is close to 90 in the loft during the day, and most evenings it was around 80 before we got the air conditioning going. There were a couple of nights that really cooled off (68 outside) and we didn't need air and it was quite comfortable. The amenities in the condo are great and it is quite roomy. You will have pretty much everything you could need to enjoy Kona and cook meals in the condo if that is what you prefer. It is wonderful to have two bathrooms and a nice, full kitchen on vacation. The condo is on the 3rd floor, however, so if you would have trouble carrying ice chests, bags, chairs, boogie boards (all available at the condo) etc up and down stairs this may not be the right location for you. We enjoyed the location very much including the community pool and hot tub, and even got a call from the owners to ensure things were going well for us. I definitely recommend this condo when in Kona!

My wife, brother-in-law, and I enjoyed our stay
The condo was well furnished with pots, pans, dishes, flatware, towels ... the washer / dryer were very much appreciated as we packed lite. The location is close to old Kona restaurants, shops, and attractions. The 3rd story walk up would prevent mobility challenged individuals from staying at this condo. Thank you Larry & Joy.

Centrally located
Great location for a stay based in Kona as it is a short walk to restaurants, shops, etc. and is a good home base for visiting other parts of the island. The condo is tastefully decorated and partially updated. For example, the dishwasher & microwave are new, but the stove & fridge are old. However, I suspect these updates will be made eventually. As far as pull out beds go, the one in this condo is more comfortable than most (so says my 19-year-old son). The other beds were also fine. The upstairs loft does get a bit hot, but my 22-year-old was fine with it. It was convenient to have a kitchen and washing machine available to us during our stay.

Great location but too many inconveniences
I hate to leave a negative review. Although, I appreciate honest feedback from VRBO users and will do the same.
LOCATION: Walking distance of Kona’s main street.
STAIRS: Unit is on the third floor. No elevator. Hassle hauling luggage, groceries, beach/pool stuff, and a baby up/down the stairs.
KITCHEN: Dishes seemed dirty; so we bought disposable. Tried using dishwasher once. Smelt like burning plastic; abruptly turned it off. Dishwasher rusty inside.
HOT: The unit is uncomfortably hot! Owners discourage it with a note about the high cost of electricity, but we had the two AC units and fans running the whole time. We even kept the blinds closed to keep out solar heat. No AC in the upstairs bedroom. Even with fans, the upstairs bedroom felt like a sauna and was unusable. My husband, baby, and I had to resort to sleeping in the downstairs bedroom. Our other kids had to campout in the living room.
WASHER/DRYER: We were grateful for a washer and dryer, but they are small. Owners have a sign not to wash more than two towels at a time.
TV: Great channel selection.
WIFI: Free wifi was offered, but didn’t work. Owner and I e-mailed a number of times about it. He said he was unable to get it taken care of since he was out of country. He suggested that I find an IT person and he would pay for it. Although, I didn’t have the slightest clue who to contact.
CRITTERS: We did everything to try to avoid bugs in the unit such as being tidy about food, keeping doors and windows closed, and vacuuming often. Yet, we experienced spiders, webs, a cockroach, a gecko, and large ants.
PARKING: Assigned parking spot not convenient.
POOL: Pool is on the other side of a few other buildings. Pool small but warm. Pool restrooms unusable due to bugs. Toilet paper covered in ants. Spiders, webs, and cockroaches everywhere. Obvious restrooms not regularly cleaned. Inconvenient to have to walk back and forth to the unit when the kids needed to use the restroom. Little ants all over pool lounge chairs. In the evenings, there were millipedes everywhere around the pool.
CLEANING: Although you pay a non-refundable cleaning fee, owners have laminated notes everywhere asking that prior to departure, guests wash all towels and start washing bedding.
OTHER: Bedding stained, falling apart. Vertical window blinds missing pieces, did not open correctly. Light colored couches are dingy.
We paid for 10 nights but left early and stayed at a resort for four nights where my family was happier.

A great place to stay!
We stayed for the Ironman World Champs. Ideal location just a short walk from the start and finish area.
The place was great with only one drawback. The condo does get very hot and the air con could be better.
Don’t let that stop you tho, we genuinely had a great stay and a lovely holiday!!!
