This is gem of a rental - a real throwback to modest but wonderful summer camps from the past. It is beautifully situated on the water with great decks, a fire pit and fabulous sun.
The kitchen is incredibly well-stocked, linens clean, beds comfortable and abundant bathroom supplies.
The owner is proud of his property, quickly responsive prior to and during a rental and always happy to help but never intrusive.
Do not overlook this property - it may not be the most glamorous one on the Lake but it definitely provides a lovely spot for an easy vacation on Lake Winnipesaukee for 1 or 2 couples or a small family.

This house has a great view and being in semi-secluded cove was wonderful. The inside of the house was clean on arrival, however the check in process was more intrusive than I'd like. Exploring the house solo is what I prefer. I was caught off caught when Rick said the check out time was 10am, versus 11am listed online. There's a heavy spider presence, and we constantly walked into spider webs at night . We weren't provided enough bedding but one guest had their own. So it wasn't a big deal. A big safety concern is the deck, the railing had too much movement for comfort. It appeared to be "patched" in a couple areas, so we avoided leaning on it. The dock is plenty big, however we discovered the diving board wasn't secured onto the dock. Some of the dock posts were loose. Rick was very responsive when we asked for more toilet paper and paper towels. Overall we enjoyed the view and location, impossible to beat waking up with lake right outside the window.

Perfect location on Lake Winnipesaukee with Dock
Great location right on Lake Winnipesaukee near Meredith and Weirs Beach area. Deepwater dock for boat and great for swimming and fishing off of. Super clean and has everything you need in the kitchen, linens and towels. The host is very friendly, attentive to detail and responds quickly. He makes it his mission to ensure your vacation and stay is as pleasant as can be. Can't beat the view of the lake from the property and so nice to sit on the large deck with coffee every morning overlooking the lake. The house and property is well maintained and the flowers and landscape are beautiful. There is a full bath (small shower) and bedroom (full/queen) on the first level and a full bath (with tub) on the second level with a full/queen bed and two bunk beds around the corner in the large room - perfect for a couple that may have one or two kids. Also has central air throughout making it a comfortable environment inside.

Cozy lakeside home with amazing view
Our family really enjoyed our week vacation at Rick's property on the lake. The location on the lake is ideal. The views from the deck and dock are fantastic. We enjoyed swimming off the dock, jumping off the diving board and using the ladder and steps to make it easy to get in and out of the water. We rented a boat and found it to be very easy to dock here since there are no rocks and there is plenty of space. The house is located on a cove, so it was the perfect spot to paddle with the 4 kayaks that came with the house.
The house had plenty of room for our family of 5 - two parents, two kids, and one grandmother. One of the double bedrooms is upstairs and separate from the others. The other bedrooms are downstairs. You enter the downstairs double bedroom as you descend the stairs. (There is no railing on the open side, so this might be a problem for families with toddlers.) The bunk beds are around the corner, separated by vertical blinds that can be open or shut. My daughter loved reading Harry Potter in the tiny bedroom that contains the two beds "under the stairs" just like Harry.
Rick is the type of host who will go above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect for your vacation. When the refrigerator failed during our stay, Rick immediately provided us with a large cooler and ice to save our food and then ran to the store to replace the refrigerator. Amazingly, he picked up a new fridge and had it replaced with hours. Now the house has a new refrigerator, so this won't happen again, but more importantly, Rick will do anything it takes to fix any problems that arise during your stay.
We also enjoyed the large dvd collection, the fire pit, and the wooden swing under the deck. This house has everything you need for a relaxing time at the lake.

Gorgeous Lake house
One of the best spots on the water. Very private and one of coolest docks ever. Had a diving board which my children loved. No rocks around the dock which made it easier for boats. It’s super close to all the restaurants and functions. The house was a lake style setting and super clean.

Great Lake Getaway!
We had a wonderful time, perfect place if you have (or rent like I did) a boat.
There is a GREAT little swimming area next to the doc, which we used whenever we weren't out on the lake.
Eric, the property manager, couldn't have been more helpful, always responded quickly with any questions/requests.
Loved our stay!

Amazing relaxing getaway with a fantastic view
This vacation was all about unplugging and enjoying the lake. My wife, three daughters and I had a wonderful time at Rick's house. Rick reached out to us the moment we booked to give us more details about the property and what to expect. Leading up to travel day, he kept sending pictures of the property, some goofy pictures and continuously asking us if we had any questions. This made us look forward to our trip.
Once there, he greeted us and showed us around to make sure everything was as we expected it. Once check in was done the house was all to ourselves. Two double beds (one on top floor one on bottom) with two bunk beds and another little room with bunk beds that he called the Harry potter room because those beds were literally under the stairs. One of my daughters loved it and she picked it immediately.
Good size kitchen and a lovely dinning/living room that we used solely as a living room. However, the deck was the best part. Overlooking the lake with a perfect view of the sunrise every morning.
Down to the dock, it was long enough to hold a boat (should you bring one) and 4 kayaks to explore the lake. Water was super clear and calm especially in the mornings which is when I did my swims. Very safe to swim long distances. Boat traffic was not an issue since the house is located in a cove that does not have thru traffic.
Meredith was a super cute town with several restaurants from which to choose and the lines were not long at all. About 5 miles from a supermarket which makes it unnecessary to bring all of your groceries. Weirs beach are is about 10 miles good for arcade games, walking and enjoying the views.
This is a perfect location for a family of 6 who enjoy the water and the surrounding views.
We will be back next time with a boat. Thank you Rick for a fantastic vacation.

Great Week at 2 Lighthouse!
Rick was a great host and our family had a great week. Very quite area and felt relaxed and peaceful. The house was cozy and very clean and equipped with everything we needed. The dock was amazing and we spent most evenings throwing a few lines in and enjoying drinks. Dock was perfect size with a diving board and mooring whips to secure the boat. Will be coming back in the near future - thanks Rick!!

Beautiful, relaxing & renewing
A perfect lake vacation experience! The house is very clean and the kitchen very well equipped for cooking & grilling. Peaceful and away-from-it-all, but close to Merideth for shopping and near gorgeous forest hiking trails. The Lake access is excellent, with a comfortable dock for kayaking, swimming & boating. The views alone make this an outstanding vacation home. Rick is a gracious, welcoming, helpful host who made every effort to assure we had everything we needed. We're looking forward to returning as soon as possible.

Fantastic Vacation
My wife, me, nephew, 17, daughter, 18, and son, 20, just spent a week at Rick's house and it was fantastic! Rick was very helpful host, making sure we were OK, and friendly. The house is is located such that there is no car traffic only some water skiers, as expected as this is Winnipesaukee. The house was super clean, comfortable, and it was great having AC for those couple of 90F days we had. The swimming is fantastic is deep such that jumping of the deck is safe and fun. Everyone enjoyed the kayaking, using the kayaks Rick has, and saved me some work as I did not have to log mine to NH. Overall we recommend Rick's place for a great summer spot. We are already planning for a return.

Rick and his property are hidden gems on the lake
When we got there, we were amazed of not only the cleanliness, but also Rick’s willingness to make sure we had everything we needed. The dock space was fantastic with us having two boats and three jet skis. The view from everywhere there is priceless! Fantastic stay with that warm cottage feel.

Amazing!
This cabin was beautiful. Inside it is clean and pleasantly decorated, the wood work is incredible! The property is private and very peaceful. Lots of outdoor spots to sit and enjoy the incredible view. The water was crystal clear, we had so much fun every day jumping off the dock into the lake. The fire pit in the photos has actually been upgraded to a wood burning fire pit, we had a fire every night overlooking the lake. There were 4 kayaks on the property and our whole family was able to go out on the lake in the kayaks all week, it was amazing. Directly across the lake is an island you can kayak to with public hiking paths over it, was so much fun to paddle over and take a beautiful hike not to mention it was a great workout. The cabin in located on a dead end road which is actually a big circle which is perfect for walks.
If you chose to venture out there are tons of activities to do in the area and lots of restaurants to choose from. The grocery store is less than 10 minutes away, very convenient. The cabin has a fully functioning kitchen with we enjoyed making almost all of our meals in. Lots of storage space for grocery purchases and all the pots and pans you need for your cooking needs. We loved visiting the shopping areas in Meredith like beautiful Mills Falls.
We have kids so we enjoyed some outings to The Fun Spot which is a huge arcade that also has a ropes course for the older kids. Across the street was a go cart track, lots of fun. We also ventured to weirs beach in Laconia, a short drive away from the cabin where you can book a boat cruise on the Mount Washington or take a train ride. Lots of shopping and fun places on the pier to enjoy, not to mention the incredible views there. We actually stopped at Harley Davidson which was lots of fun for everyone. We stopped and at at the famous Harts Turkey Farm for lunch it was delicious.
The owner, Rick was helpful and knowledgable about the area. Very nice man, was so impressed with the customer service. We will be coming back next year and years to come!
