I take a group of my adult French students to France each year. This year we decided on the beautiful and charming city of Avignon. There were 8 of us total. Gabriel graciously welcomed us at the train station and escorted us to his home. The house was a perfect size and opened to a dreamy garden. I appreciated learning of the house’s history and trees and plants in the garden. Gabriel was very helpful with suggestions during our stay from the moment we booked, and we felt comfortable and very much at home. The location of the house was safe and central and within walking distance to our local destinations. The mosquitoes were a nuisance so we were unable to really appreciate the patio as much as we would have wished. Avignon can get quite warm in the summer. Most nights were manageable with the windows open. Some nights, however, were a bit warm. The fans in the house did help to cool us down. Overall, I would recommend this house, and I would consider staying here again when I next visit Avignon.

This home has plenty of space and charm. Seven adults had tons of space to sleep, relax, eat and hold meetings. The location was perfect - walking distance to many restaurants and sites but still quiet at night for a good sleep. This isn't a soulless house of IKEA furniture but a home of antiques, books and places to relax overlooking the garden. I loved this home and would stay again. The owner was easy to deal with, even leaving us lunch including wine! Highly recommended for a large family or group of friends.

This is a fabulous rental in a terrific location!
Gabriel and Pascale are warm, wonderful hosts for this newly
decorated family home located on a quiet tree-lined street
within the city walls of Avignon. We were their first renters and cannot say
enough about their hospitality and thoughtfulness. We rented for four full
weeks in May and April and were joined by 6 sets of friends throughout the month.
The house is spotless and spacious and our guests loved their stay. You are a short walk
from everything….markets, transportation, and the tourist information. This is a perfect
location to explore western Provence and we rented a car for two weeks
because of the availability of the garage. Gabriel and Pascale were very thoughtful and
well-prepared with a well-organized “house book” filled with useful information, including
some of their favorite restaurants. And to top it off…they had two cases of delicious wine
available for purchase in the wine cellar. Now that’s thinking ahead! Thank you, Gabriel and
Pascale. We will always have warm memories of our stay in your beautiful city and house!
