The apartment is located in the heart of the Cité des Etoiles in Givors, ¼ hour walk from the train station, in front of the town hall (closed garage possible) .The city of Stars of Jean Renaudie is one of the emblematic sites of twentieth-century architecture in the Lyon region.
Givors is 15 minutes from the center of Lyon TER (stations served: Perrache or Part Dieu) or 20 minutes by car. Near motorway access A7 and A47, 20 minutes from Vienna, 35 minutes from Saint-Etienne.
It is a T3, on the third floor with elevator, of 63 m2, bright, calm, pleasant to live: a room (lit140 / 200), a room with 2 bunk beds (90/190), a BZ in 120 in the living room, open kitchen fully equipped. WC and bathroom separated.
The plus: 3 beautiful terraces equipped (table and chairs of garden, barbecue, parasol, chairs ...
Internet, sheets, towels and linens provided.

From Givors, you can easily go to the Vienna Jazz Festival (20 minutes by car-public transport possible) in late June and July.
You can enjoy a quiet accommodation to visit Lyon and participate in all the festivities offered by this beautiful city (in summer, the nights of Fourvière, movie nights organized by the Institute Lumière etc ... In autumn, the biennale of art and dance, in winter, around December 8, the festival of lights).
You will be on site for the paperwork fair (every year, in Givors, around November 11th)
You will also be able to make beautiful hikes in the Pilat, go to visit the vineyards of Condrieu (Côte rôtie) and the coasts of the Rhône where more to the west to go on Saint-Etienne, (Museum of modern art, city and biennale of the design ) ...

Excellent séjour!
Très bel appartement, propreté irréprochable, literie au top, équipements de la cuisine très fonctionnels. Les terrasses : géniales. Conforme aux photos, accueil très sympa. Résidence atypique, et super agréable ! Nous reviendrons sans aucun doute lors d'un prochain séjour dans la région. Un grand merci à Thérèse!

Appartement atypique par sa configuration en étoile mais très agréable, fonctionnel et calme. L'accueil de Mme Serre fut sympathique et chaleureux.

Ausgezeichnet: Eine FeWo wie man sie sich wünscht.
Sehr empfehlenswert ! Nette Vermieter, lichtdurchflutete Wohnung mit 11 Fenstern (alle mit elektrischen Rolläden) und interessantem Grundriss in einem architektonisch außergewöhnlichen Gebäudekomplex. Dieser ist in die Jahre gekommen, aber die Wohnung ist tipptopp.
Spülmaschine, Waschmaschine - alles vorhanden.
Günstige Lage, um Lyon zu besichtigen: 12 Minuten zum Bahnhof, dann ca 25 min nach Lyon.

Magnifique appartement atypique, spacieux, bien agencé et très propre. Propriétaires très accueillants, sympathiques et prévenants. Localisation dans Givors proche de tous les commerces. Franchement zéro défaut, une adresse à recommander.

A wonderful apartment in Givors
Thank you to Thérèse and Roger for their hospitality and for allowing us to stay in their wonderful apartment. It matches its description, but feels like it has been set up to cater for family or friends rather than for rental tenants. We were on holiday from Australia and hadn’t previously heard of “Cité des étoiles” (City of the stars), the amazing ’70s architecture of Jean Renaudie. We really enjoyed staying in this amazing complex. The apartment itself was very roomy, light and airy – we couldn’t have asked for more.

Quiet, clean, wonderful Host!
We found the apartment just as pictured. Therese is the most gracious host we have ever met in over 10 years of vacation rentals. She allowed us to ship Euro cup tickets to her address and had them waiting for us when arrived, helped us to track our lost luggage, and provided us with breakfast biscuits, jam and butter since our delayed flight did not give us an opportunity to go to the market before it closed. Grocery markets and bakeries were a stroll away. Some shops and restaurants were closed due to Ramadan, but there were plenty nearby. The terraces face different directions, so there is always sun or shade available and the kitchen had all the essentials too. Thank you Therese!

Appartement très bien aménagé
Nous avons passé un excellent séjour en famille dans ce joli appartement idéalement situé entre Lyon et Saint-Etienne. L'aménagement est parfait et nous n'avons manqué de rien. Les 3 terrasses sont très agréables et les commerces/marché à 2 minutes à pied. De plus nous avons pu bénéficié d'un garage fermé. Merci aux propriétaires. A recommander pour ceux qui sont de passage dans la région.

Appartement très agréable et idéalement situé
Appartement très agréable, bien équipé (avec du matériel en parfait état). Les propriétaires sont soucieux du bien être de leurs locataires. Idéalement situé (8 min de la gare), nous n'avons quasiment pas utilisé la voiture durant notre séjour. Le TER, bus, métro et tram nous ont permis de découvrir la ville de Lyon (musées, la Croix Rousse, les traboules, la maison des Canuts, la cathédrale de Fourvière, le quartier du Vieux Lyon...) Nous garderons un excellent souvenir de notre séjour.

Appartement très agréable , très ensoleillé et surtout très bien pensé , on s'y sent comme chez soi ! Pas de bruit , ni sur la rue ni dans "l'immeuble" lui-même . Nous y retournerons !

Appartement très agréable bien amménagé
Un très bel appartement lumineux, vraiment bien entretenu. Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié l'amabilité de notre hôte, l’aménagement très fonctionnel du logement (nous n'avons manqué de rien), l'entretien impeccable, la décoration à première vue minimaliste mais très bien pensée.
La localisation est aussi intéressante. Bien que la ville ne soit pas des plus vivantes. Tout est à proximité (le marché, la boulangerie, l'épicerie,...). même un agréable parcours de promenade donnant sur les ruines d'un ancien château.
Pour se reposer, être dépaysé, passer un séjour au calme. N'hésitez plus

Un appartement séduisant
Un appartement tout à fait charmant, bien équipé et respirant le neuf. L'équipement est complet et bien agencé. Nous avons régulièrement pris les repas sur une des trois terrasses et apprécié le calme malgré la proximité du centre ville. L'architecture en étoile est surprenante et intéressante. La ville de Givors n'est pas à proprement parlé "touristique" mais permet de visiter des alentours riches en vestiges romains ainsi que la ville de Lyon, accessible en 20 min en TER.

Appartement exceptionnel tout près de Lyon !
Cet appartement fut une très belle surprise, principalement pour les raisons suivantes :
- le logement évidemment : impeccable, design, bien équipé, calme, et particulièrement lumineux avec ses 3 terrasses !!
- les propriétaires : à l'écoute, de très bons conseils (passionnés par leur ville, l'art et l'architecture de leur immeuble) et comme on dit "aux petits soins"
- le cadre et l'environnement : logement au sein même de l'ensemble dit des "Etoiles" (curiosité étonnante de l'architecte Jean Renaudie), et à proximité immédiate d'une part, des plaisirs de l'urbain (10 min à pied de la gare TER de Givors, elle-même à 20 min du centre de Lyon) et d'autre part, des plaisirs de la campagne (on peut partir en balade au pied même de l'immeuble !!)
Qui aurait cru trouver pareille merveille à Givors ?...
